We decided to go to this restaurant (canteen).
We went to it 3 years ago, everything was fine, fresh sea products, everything is delicious.
They came this year, first of all, the institution has completely deteriorated, they feed rotten meat and cheat people.
We came and ordered mussels, shrimps, and squid. They brought, God forbid, half the weight of what they ordered. The shrimps looked exhausted and had lain down, the squid was silent, even half of the ordered was not put in, just cut into slices a few pieces and that was it. They promised a 10 percent discount, as you understand, it was not there, they put a couple of dollars on the tip, the waiter came to pick up the bill and began to complain why they gave so little tip.
The next morning after this incident, the whole family became ill (poisoned).
Decide for yourself whether you need to walk and spoil your nerves and rest for it…
We decided to take a walk towards the Old Town. This building has a second floor, an open terrace, "surely a beautiful view of the sea," I thought. The interior of the room on the ground floor is nice, on the second floor there was an unpleasant smell in the closed part. The tables on the terrace are dining tables. In front of the entrance to the restaurant on the right there is something like a counter where all the seafood that can be prepared for you is placed. I didn't notice any cooling or ice placed under the film, but there are also a horde of flies swarming under the film.... But I'm at the red sea, of course I need to visit a seafood restaurant, and even with a view of that very sea. The fact that the products will be heat-treated is somewhat reassuring. We ordered grilled squid and lobster. I hadn't tried lobster before, so it's just my opinion about the taste - I really didn't go in, it had an unpleasant taste. But the serve was beautiful. The breaded squid is delicious, the three of them couldn't handle a portion. The dish was being prepared, apparently it should have been so short, but I wanted tea with the dish, so it (tea) was carried for a long time, 20-30 minutes after the dish was taken out. In a plastic cup, in a bag, however, they put mint leaves in a plate with a portion of sugar. Before serving the ordered dishes, tortillas were brought, water was put on, and various sauces were brought in plates to accompany the tortillas. They refused the water, and the amount in the receipt turned out to be higher than the amount her husband had expected, but this is normal for Egypt. We went for the experience, we got it. I've never considered visiting this place before. P.S. The lobster was with sand or something that gritted in my teeth, according to my husband. Price level: we paid $ 80 for a 750 gr lobster and 0.5 kg squid with all the extras (sauces, tortillas, tea), and left another 10 for tea (we had to, it's hard to leave without a tip)).
