The main impression of the hotel is that they went to meet us in an unusual situation and rebooked the room for other dates without penalty.
I'll tell you more about it at the end.
Otherwise, it is an excellent hotel for its category and price. The rooms have heating (on our dates the temperature dropped to -12 degrees, it would be difficult without heating). The rooms are spacious. The view from the 4th floor is directly at the Meteors, very exciting! A full set of towels, the room is in excellent condition (there are small comments on the furniture, but not critical), good mattresses, blankets. On the ground floor, there is a fireplace in the hall. The breakfasts are simple but hearty.
I sincerely recommend this hotel.
And now about our case:
We had a room booked for January 5-6, 2019. But on January 4 (and on the night of the 5th) there was a heavy snowfall in Greece, the roads were filled up and it became clear that we probably would not be able to get from the Halkidiki region to Kalambaka.
The free cancellation period expired on December 26 and we lost our reservation with a fine in the amount of the cost of a night's stay.
However, I wrote to the hotel and described the situation. The hotel went to a meeting, agreed to cancel the reservation without penalty and rebook for other dates (two days later) at the same price.
