A great hotel, primarily because of its location. The most demanding travelers may find that the rooms for five stars are not so chic, but I am not such a picky person in this regard. The hotel restaurant overlooks Lake Geneva, the view is stunning, you can have breakfast inside, there are huge windows, or you can go out to the terrace and look at the beauty, as they say, "live". But there is a significant drawback in this last option: there are a huge number of sparrows that are not afraid of people at all, and if you go out for a cup of coffee, you will return to a plate with food torn apart by these birds, the hotel staff, the restaurant waiter do nothing about it, which struck me. So if you are traveling alone and there will be no one to look after the food while you are away, it is better to have breakfast inside. And so – the rooms are very neat, a large bathroom, there is a coffee machine, a minibar, shoe care supplies, bath accessories, in general – everything that is inherent in a room in a hotel of this level. The lobby on the ground floor is very comfortably decorated, there are boutiques and a small separate room behind glass with beautifully decorated tables, you can rent for your events in the evening. In general, everything is very nice, the hotel staff is very friendly.
The Fairmont is a real grand hotel, as it should be. On the first line by Lake Geneva with a view of the fountain and Mont Blanc. More than four hundred rooms of different prices and sizes, but with the same level of comfort and care for the guests.
There are several restaurants of different themes and bars, including delicious and varied breakfasts overlooking the lake (remember the impudent sparrows - you can not be distracted).
A spa with many different treatments and an outdoor pool.
Its own theater, shops, conference rooms, Parking.
Everything important in Geneva is 10-15 minutes on foot or by car (walking can be faster, and even faster on yellow boats, especially if you need to go to the center or to the beach).
