We rested in August 2021 for a week with two 4-year-olds.
The hotel is located in Protaras at the end of Sunrise Beach. The place is the best in my opinion.
Firstly, it is just a couple of minutes walk to the ideal entrance to the water, sandy and completely stone-free. The sea is of unreal beauty, transparent and warm. The sand is soft and golden. There is a small beach near the hotel (it has pebbles, you can sit by the pool and go swimming there). We always found empty seats near the pool.
Secondly, there is a long beautiful illuminated promenade along the sea on both sides of the hotel.
I noted for myself that the resorts in Cyprus are well-groomed and clean, the airport is modern, the houses and villas are beautiful, the roads are good, modern construction is underway, there is no sense of ruin (as sometimes happens in other places).
Within walking distance from the hotel there are supermarkets, a pharmacy (where you can take the test that is required for the unvaccinated for every 8 days), restaurants, souvenir shops. No one asked for fly passes anywhere, but ads are everywhere, you can not enter the premises without masks, a fine of 300 euros (the Police fine, although the guide said that tourists usually do not care). In a hotel, you have to wear a mask indoors.
The hotel itself has a shop with prices the same as in other places, so there is not much point in going to buy water, toys, etc. elsewhere. A pack of 6 1.5l bottles of water costs 2.55 euros. On the fourth, two such packages were enough for us for a week.
View from the hotel to the "wild" sea, rocky shore. It's good not to look at a large number of people. Sunrises and sunsets of incredible beauty. Rooms with sea views are all on the side of the hotel to the sea, on the other side there is a view of the fields and the neighboring hotel, but quite to yourself, who does not really care that the sea is visible. The sun is there in the evening.
There is a pier with boats nearby, you can buy a ticket at the pier, you can buy a couple of euros cheaper at the Biblio-globus.
Along the beach there are stalls with corn - baked or boiled.
The hotel has its own cafe, which has brewed coffee, ice cream, drinks and good food from the hotel. We liked the food in the hotel itself. All products are fresh, fruits and vegetables in August are very tasty, unpaved. Meat eaters will not appreciate it, we almost did not eat it, we ate fish, seafood (there were squid, octopus, crab "Kiev cutlets")) and salads. The children ate, as usual, potato sticks, pasta in assortment, cutlets, chicken thighs. During the week, there was always something new for lunch and dinner that I wanted to try.
I really liked the different sauces for salads - there are always at least 5 of them. As a rule, there are always zaziki, fresh bread and wine, what else is needed)) There were watermelons and melons every day. Watermelons are very tasty. Very sweet oranges. Desserts are light, with a light cream or mousse, delicate, with an exquisite taste, I really liked them. The breakfast is standard, but there is a large selection of dishes. I took filtered coffee from the vending machine, my husband drank cappuccino, it tasted good to himself. Classic brewed coffee can be enjoyed outside in the hotel cafe. Drinks at dinner and lunch are paid (if you do not take all inclusive). We usually took wine or beer, juices or pepsi for children - it turned out to be about 11-12 euros, you can pay with a card (phone). Do not judge the waiters strictly, they will definitely come to you within 10 minutes and then after another 10 minutes they will bring drinks. It is not customary to hurry here) in the evening we walked and watched the family meals of the Cypriots - the whole family sits at a large table and has dinner all evening). George is in charge of the waiters, he tries to make everything perfect, he is very strict with them) the children of course slammed the pepper shaker, no one scolded or fined us, they quickly cleaned up and that's it.
Cocktails were served in the lobby, the taste is good, it's nice to sit on the sofas.
For kids, there is hercules without salt, sugar in milk, for lunch and dinner there are always boiled vegetables, of course there is no dietary meat-fish, there is always some kind of gravy, i.e. for very small ones, you probably need to take meat in jars. But from the age of one and a half, I would give a child such food, it is not spicy, not over-salted and fresh. There were many families with kids. We had HB, but you can buy it for 24 euros for a buffet lunch for two adults and two children when paying for the entire period (without drinks). We didn't have lunch in the cafe, but if you buy ice cream (2.5 euros a serving of two balls, 2-3 euros frappe, juice, then it will be 20 euros already) .
Twice a week there is live music at dinner, usually popular European tunes.
The hotel is modern, with a fresh renovation and design, air conditioning is available in the lobby, lobby and restaurant. In the evening, beautiful lighting, the hotel stands out from the rest with its appearance. The beds and pillows are comfortable, we had folding chairs for extra beds, too, but they were more rigid. The cosmetics are good, I liked the coconut-scented body cream, soap cleanses all food stains, even greasy ones). With the cleaning here: (it is written in the instructions that are issued upon arrival - read it carefully)) - if you want the room to be cleaned, then turn on the button. To change the towels, put them on the floor. We did not turn on the button, so the floor was not cleaned for us, but the towels were not changed for the first three days, and then they were changed every day without asking)) soap was not reported, for the last three days they washed their hands with shower gel)), they could not catch the maid)) there is no logic in cleaning, or we do not understand it) but in any case, if you really need to, you can always go to the reception and ask) as in the case when our child peed himself, in general, it is not worth a bad mood at all. The linen was changed once a week.
In general, I really liked it, there are small nuances that may be useful to someone when choosing. In August, holidays and church holidays for Cypriots begin, and therefore there are an incredible number of people on the beaches. By 9-10 o'clock, absolutely all the sun beds on such a large beach are occupied. My husband then got up early and went to borrow. You can't last long without an umbrella on the beach, you definitely need to use a protective cream, for a week in the shade we turned black.
Upon entry, you must be ready to pay about 100 euros more (maximum) -20 for check-in before 14 o'clock, 20 for the safe (for all time) , 10 euros deposit for each beach towel (you change it once a day), 20 for the refrigerator (we did not take it) and 10 for each additional room card (initially they give only one). We took it, because it was very hot and I wanted to come to a cool room (the air conditioner does not work without a card). We thought we would take a walk before check-in, but in fact the merciless sun, there is practically no greenery, a night flight, whining children - we had to pay, although there were only two hours left before check-in. For this reason, you should not take hotels that are far from the sea, every extra minute is not easy) Yandex showed +33, but in fact it is up to 42 degrees in the sun. It's been so hot since the morning. By the end of the week you are already adapting, but at first it seems very hot.
Of the excursions from Biblio-globus, I went to the "golden ring of Cyprus", the guide was local, gave a lot of information about the local way of life, what is interesting and remains in my head. I didn't like Aphrodite beach at all, the lost hour of time, the place is not at all impressive, the sea is muddy, exciting, with algae, stones, queues in the locker room, paid shower, heat, well, it's clear that you are unlikely to rejuvenate)) in fact, this is a trip to the Trodos mountains, there are many stops, and everything else is a highway tour. The hotel guide Elena was always at the hotel during the hours of presence, I liked that she gave the information clearly and quickly and the most necessary. She told the nuances of excursions and favorable offers. Transfers in big good buses, all on time. At the airport, vaccinated people go straight to passport control, the rest are tested. The children were not sent for the test (ours are 4 years old). Back in Pulkovo, they immediately took a test, quickly, almost without waiting in line, for 1950r for each, you just need to fill out an application using a QR code. We checked in at night. I knew that it was completely renovated, everything was new and clean. The shower is just a fairy tale, the bed is large, the mattress is comfortable, there are Russian channels. The refrigerator is terrible, like a mini bar, does not cool at all, 20 euros per week, very expensive. The towels are fresh, white, and there are a lot of them. The first line, overlooking the sea. We have breakfast and dinner. We had breakfast, buffet, tables are bursting with food, sausages, ham, cheeses, olives, grilled cheese, grilled bacon, grilled sandwiches, mushrooms, grilled sausages, boiled and fried, toasts, jams, fresh fruits and canned in syrup, fried pineapples, delicious coffee, dilma tea, water, eaten! I'm thrilled! An honest foursome! Everything is very clean, very nice! The pool with sun beds is free of charge!a small lightweight for kids. It's a 5-minute walk to a nice beach! We'll be back here again!

I was here in May-June 2019... I was going with the whole family in May-June 2020.. BUT everything got mixed up "in the Oblonsky house".... and so I wanted: the place is good, the beach and the sea are "two steps" down, the food is good and varied, delicious, drink and food - as usual in Cyprus - this is not Turkey... I like it anyway. every day I went to the store - I ate watermelons, small ones and such sweet ones - 3-5 euros... - the promenade is also a stone's throw away... The hotel seemed to be on the outskirts - I lived in a room with a view of the field - melons grew on it. First, I went to "swing the rights" for a room with a side view of the sea - the view really was, I just had to stick my head out harder))) and after the 1st day I realized that I did not need another view: it was very quiet for me, but the central rooms on the sea: there are pools, an or and a scream, the sun is shooting at the windows all day - and the other side ones - there are powerful conduits and kitchens.some things were hanging.. there's such a buzz.... for 5+ I appreciated my vacation, well, there are some rules there in the hotel, but you came to rest - and not the right to swing.. There is a big beach nearby - I was there once - I don't need such a "party".. I came on vacation - I went to my own - the one that is two steps away, a sunbed of 2.5 euros + 2.5 umbrella, well, I repeat - this is Cyprus. Shops are nearby... I rested alone - I went everywhere alone, I do not know English, well, I did not experience any inconvenience.. There was hope... I already wanted to book in February 2020... And now here's the longing... when it opens in 2021, I will definitely go and only here. The hotel is not a party place, but just for me and for a family holiday, calm. I didn't see any animators, the placement of the playground surprised me - is it in the parking lot .. ?? but it is also needed - there is a sea - children are there during the day, and in the evening - 15 minutes walking and in the city, there are parks and a lunopark with a steam train and other entertainment facilities..

One star just because I booked a room with a sea view, I got a view of the wall behind which the sea is. The room turned out to be above the restaurant. The roof blocked the view. A noisy place in the afternoon from the pool, in the evening music plays late. She asked to replace it with a side view. I learned the rejection. Well, what is it? I will not go to this hotel anymore. On the first day, neither blankets nor bedspreads were provided. I had to sleep in my clothes to keep warm. Overall, the hotel is not bad. Fresh renovation. It's all clear. But they are noisy and do not go to meet the client.

I had a rest at the end of May 2019. Excellent hotel, clean, spacious rooms, new plumbing, 3 minutes to the beach. The rooms have a TV, air conditioning, wardrobe, safe, sound insulation, among the disadvantages - there is no hair dryer. Wi-Fi is free in the hotel and on site. The beach itself is very clean, sand, turquoise water, transparent, the entrance to the water is gentle. The food is varied and everything is very tasty, for dinner there is a large selection of meat dishes, and chicken, and pork, and even lamb, fish are also always several types. I was 100% satisfied. I will be happy to return to this hotel again.

I had a rest in early November 2019. The 3* hotel. It is located on the coastline, i.e. the beach is at your service. Good access to the sea, sandy beach, sun beds 2.5 euros per day(to rent or not is only your choice). The hotel is perfect for families with children or for age couples or for young people who do not need to hang out and dance until the morning. We had breakfast and dinner, I must say right away, admission is free for breakfast, for dinner and, like, for lunch (if someone wants to take it at the hotel), you will be met at the door, asked for the room number and escorted to a table. At dinner, all drinks are paid, we order through the nearby staff, at the end of dinner you will be provided with a bill. There is a cafe 1 step away from the hotel, where you will be served delicious, the cost of the dishes is reasonable. After leaving the hotel, turning right, after walking 7-10 minutes, you will find yourself on the central street, where there are supermarkets, prices are very close to Russian, only in euros (if you pay with a ruble plastic card, then look at the terminal next to the amount of d.b. it says eur, then the conversion of your ruble will be loyal to your wallet, i.e.e at the rate of the bank), souvenir shops, cafes, McDonald's, and also going down to the left of the McDuck (if it is on the right), then go to the shops with Greek ice cream 1.5 euros and Greek yogurt like 2.5 euros, it's yummy. The bus stop is next to McDonald's, you can go to Ayia Napa yourself (bus 101 round trip 102, I can confuse 🙈). Relax, recharge with the energy of the sea, the sun and friendly, smiling people!

Nice hotel! We liked it! We had a rest in September 2017, took everything inclusive, the food is always fresh, everything is very tasty, there was fish and meat to choose from! We went with a 4-year-old child. The sea is right on the opposite side of the hotel, with a small beach, if you don't like it, you can go to the next one, 5 minutes from the hotel! But we were always on a small one because in the heat we didn't really want to go with the child! We would return to this place again.

They charge money for every squeak, however, it's the same everywhere.
During lunch and dinner, only the bar in the restaurant is open, and only works for restaurant service. If you've already eaten, you can't order anything, you have to go to bars nearby, and those are for money.
The beach is nearby, but it's better to go further away.
There are not enough sun beds, there is no animation.
But in the evenings every other day there was live music, very pleasant. I didn't even want to go anywhere.
There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, which is a plus.

There were hotels in this area from 08/6.21 to 08/16.21.The location is good but the food is very poor.Such a poor diet was simply not expected.Especially salads for dinner with mayonnaise from leftovers, most likely sausages from breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located from the sea, the first line is 30 meters, the view from the room to the fields. The food is a buffet, varied, often seafood and lots of fruits, but the fruits are not very ripe. Of the cons, the smell in the room from the kitchen, despite the 4th floor, ventilation apparently can not cope.

We were with my husband for 11 days in early May. The hotel is the first line, a great beach with a gentle entrance. The food is super, varied, and an excellent coffee machine. If the staff does not speak, they understand Russian. They try to help in any matter. Near the entire infrastructure, a pedestrian street with shops and cafes. I would love to come again.

The hotel corresponds to its stars. The food is so-so. You won't die of hunger, but there is practically no choice of dishes. It's very monotonous, the fruits are all immature. The rooms are clean and cleaned regularly. There is no entertainment. There is no children's animation. The beach is not far away, but the entrance to the sea is very inconvenient. The sea is clean and there are a lot of fish. If you get up very early, you can catch a turtle.

SUMMER IS IN NOVEMBER.
We arrived on the evening of November 2nd, flew early in the morning of the 10th, were lucky to get into a sunny week, only on the third there was a sun in a haze with a slight cloud cover.
The kitchen is good, the food is delicious, but the restaurant hall is small, so there is a queue for dinner in advance. We rescheduled dinner for lunch and had dinner in Protaras, there were still plenty of cafes and restaurants on the second line, even for November, but we chose one and next to it ice cream and cocktails from Hubert (I recommend it to everyone!) see the photo.
We were accommodated in 334 rooms with a sea view, as it was paid for, without claims. There are no complaints about cleaning the room, bed linen was changed twice and towels were changed three times.
A complaint to the reception, we were warned in advance that we were flying to the 30th anniversary of the wedding, we simply forgot about our Holiday, we did not receive congratulations from the hotel in any form. It seems to be a trifle, but the bitterness remains...
The territory of the hotel is small, but well-groomed, there simply cannot be any complaints here. The municipal beach is a five-minute walk away, those who do not want to pay for an umbrella and sun beds, sunbathe by the pool, and stroll to the sea. The beach near the hotel with a rocky entrance is for an amateur, and further beyond the pier there is a 1.5 kilometer beach line at your service.
If you ask if we would go to Evalena again, we will say Yes. But there is a desire to visit Paphos next year.
Biblioglobus works perfectly well on excursions, we went to the observation room for a day, 19 people, recalled V.Vysotsky, "..only mountains can be better than mountains, which I have not yet visited." And
Winery Ktima Gerolemo (Ktima Gerolemo - ΚτήΜα ΓερόΛεμο). The village of Omodos also deserves attention. Delicious wine and Zivania, but for some reason they are not represented in all stores, even in Airport Duty it was not.
P.S. For information to travelers, from November 08 they begin to remove umbrellas and sun beds from municipal beaches, on November 09 they turned off the water in the beach showers, left only on the Fig Tree beach, but they did not like it there, because of the abundant amount of dead algae in the water near the coastline.

Smoking is prohibited in the hotel. I can't stand the smell of smoke, and neither can my whole family. But the representatives of the hotel could not cope with my various neighbors - they smoked and smoked.
