An amazing place with a large number of historical artifacts that immerse you in the history of Adjara and show the life of the people who lived there. Many thanks to Kemal Turmanidze, who supports, develops and presents all this to visitors, as well as to the guides who tell about all this.
It was a very informative and interesting experience for the whole family. The museum features interesting exhibits, as well as friendly staff. The tour was fascinating thanks to the wonderful guide, who told a very interesting and informative story. At the end of the visit, there was an opportunity to purchase souvenirs, which pleased both children and adults. The general atmosphere of the museum is very cozy and friendly, which added to the positive impressions of the visit.
A great museum! The author has been collecting it for 30 years, and the works made of wood deserve special attention. The tours are available in Russian, English, and Georgian. Very polite staff, especially the tour guide Nini ❤
A wonderful museum in all its manifestations - the guides are professionals in their field, the exhibition composition is amazing! I really liked the tour, I advise you to visit 100%!!!
Very atomospheric!
I recommend visiting with children, who can be clearly shown what people of various professions are doing. My husband saw an exhibit: a scooter, which he himself made, repaired and rode with pleasure as a child.
It was nice to get the autograph of the master on it when buying a souvenir!
It is very informative for such a small museum. The tour is free of charge - payment is only for admission. Formation - as you set, 1 time in 30-40 minutes. You can join in the middle, then listen to what you missed with another group
The guide ran through the exhibits, they barely kept up with her, the information was perceived in a hurry with difficulty.
The exposition was assembled by the owner of the museum with great love for his home and family.
A great place, especially in bad weather, the price, considering that it includes an excursion, is wonderful! the place is hospitable even for Russians, unlike other places, I put a solid 5
We have been to the museum twice. It was very interesting both times!
There is an opportunity to choose a guide (Russian- or English-speaking).
The museum itself contains a variety of exhibits that convey the life of the people very colorfully. Admires that all this was done and collected by 1 person! Who, by the way, also communicates with museum visitors.
Very interesting, thoughtful tours of the museum. Excellent service.
Perhaps the best museum on the territory of Adjara from those in which we were during the year of residence in Georgia.
The most important thing is that everything is done with a soul.
The first commercial museum in Georgia, the life of a Georgian village is presented, entrance is 15lari, guide services are included (speaking guide). The exposition is quite large, it is interesting to wander and look. The city can be reached by taxi or bus
This is an extraordinary place, you completely immerse yourself in the world of our ancestors and are surprised by their intelligence, resourcefulness, desire to live and develop. Many thanks for the creation and development of this wonderful museum
I really liked the museum, there are many exhibits about everyday life, crafts, and the life of the residents of Batumi. Thanks to the girl Mary for the guided tour, it is very interesting, informative)
I really liked it. It is clear that a person is doing what he loves... A pleasant guide told everything in Russian, a little quickly, but then he walked around and, based on what was said, slowly examined all the small details. The master owner of the museum is a pleasant sociable person, he told me something himself, I asked him for clarification. You can buy souvenirs (with an autograph) and works of your own execution, of which there are a huge number. It is very full of exhibits. It is visually more informative compared to the state institutions of Batumi (I managed to visit most of them and have something to compare them with). I hope the collection of exhibits will increase. I RECOMMEND A MANDATORY VISIT, IT'S WORTH IT!
A wonderful private museum. A little simple, but the employee told about all the reproductions with great interest in Russian. The cognitive history of Adjara.
An excellent private museum, the tour will be conducted even with one visitor. The territory is small, the price is acceptable, it is easy to get by taxi from anywhere in Batumi. There is a toilet, you can buy souvenirs. I liked everything very much, I recommend it
It's a good museum. The tour is included in the ticket price. They tell an interesting story, everything is clear. Despite the fact that the museum is quite small, you get a complete picture of Adjara. Very cool!
Delight!!! I drove without expecting strong emotions, but what I saw shocked me. When I entered the first hall, I was surprised that there were so many people, it was January, and these are exhibits! As if they were alive! Different, characteristic .It's like they're doing their own thing, life is boiling. In another room, I even screamed in surprise that such a realistic exhibit was nearby. And the living girl who came to offer me a tour in Russian, I took for an animated exhibit. The museum has a lot of work and soul invested in it. I wish prosperity and world fame to this unique museum!!!
An amazing place is a private museum, but made with such love for his work and for the history of his country - a lot of exhibits are collected on a small territory, the owner, a woodcarver, creates things of unique beauty - I am delighted
In just 40 minutes, you will look at the whole of Georgia in miniature and with an interesting story of what, why and why.
Be sure to visit - you won't regret it!!!
A very intimate ethnographic museum in Batumi.
I managed just half an hour before closing time, but I was very impressed.
My guide, a very intelligent, well-mannered and charismatic high school student, told me everything about the way of life of wealthy and poor families, how Georgians ran their farms, showed me some finds that were used in everyday life, made me think about it and struck me with the depth of her knowledge
Thank you again very much😇🤗
A fantastically sincere, cozy, beautiful museum is simply a delight. It is great to get acquainted with culture, peoples, clothes, everyday life. Everything is handmade, there are many installations of houses, interiors, clothes 😍
The territory is like a home, well maintained. The guide is as bright as an angel.
I highly recommend it to everyone!!
It's a wonderful place. Admission for an adult is GEL 15, this price includes a guided tour. Amazing works by the creator of the museum. The story of the oak touched my soul. Thank you very much for such a place!
A museum is like a museum, in bad weather to walk around it, let's say to tell the time. The entrance is 6 GEL per person, it is better to take a guide, or use the Internet and point a camera at each cuarcode and read the description. The staff is unobtrusive and friendly.
A wonderful museum. Very sincere and original. One of the few (if not the only) private museums in Georgia. The life of the Adjara region of the 19th and 20th centuries is very interesting and clearly shown. Guided tours in Russian and English, a small souvenir shop. A great option for visiting with children.
The magnificent first private ethnographic museum. The author has been collecting exhibits all over Georgia since the age of 20. There are rare exhibits. The owner is a master woodcarver. The museum does not have enough funding. Many of the exhibits will need to be restored soon.

A great private museum! The guide gave us an interesting tour. I liked everything! Well done for putting together such a collection!
A small but very informative museum, lovingly recreated Georgian rural life. The only drawback is that the guide ran with us through the exposition, her explanations were somewhat superficial.
An interesting and unusual museum, part of the open-air exposition. We came here in the rain to pass the time. We were given umbrellas, and we had a very fruitful hour and a half. We learned a lot about the history and life of Adjara. All the exhibits in the museum were made by one person, he was also present, showed his work.
An interesting private museum created by one person. The guide also tells an interesting story, we learned something new for ourselves)
At the end of the tour, you can buy an autographed souvenir from the creator of the museum.

I highly recommend everyone to visit!

An amazing place, an amazing host. A must-visit to study the historical life of the Adjara region. The owner, named Kemal, put his soul and life into it. We wish you success and prosperity. Such places deserve attention.
It is worth going, especially if you are in Batumi for a long time or the weather is not very good... I love everyday objects, installations, I liked it
This is a private museum. It is clear that the person tried very hard, but the things in the museum need constant care for them, and not so- he made and forgot.
I would like to recommend the Borjgalo Museum to anyone who is not indifferent to the history of Georgia. We visited with the children and were delighted. The museum is an understatement, it was created by one person for 40 years. We saw a lot of interesting things, the girl guide conducted, told, showed. Unfortunately, there is little information on the Internet about this museum. I highly recommend it!
