"We recently visited the ethnic campsite "Huns", and the impressions were the most vivid! First of all, I would like to mention the incredibly delicious food: all the dishes are cooked with soul and a special flavor. Real culinary magic!
The show programs were particularly admired. These are not just performances, but a real immersion in culture and traditions. Bright costumes, exciting rooms and an atmosphere that is energizing and positive.
The ethnic campsite "Hunny" is a place where you want to come back again and again to enjoy hospitality, excellent service and unforgettable impressions. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome!"
An oriental fairy tale. An interesting excursion, acquaintance with the life of the Kazakhs, treats with delicious baursaks, kumis, tea. Jigging is super! Brave, beautiful, skilled riders! I hope to visit the ethno village again!
For tourists who have never heard much about the life and way of life of nomadic peoples before, it is interesting. But in general, it is quite simple.
Of the advantages:
- you can get a visual idea of the structure of the yurt
- try koumiss, as well as bauyrsaks, which are prepared with you.
- try to hit the target with a bow
- get aesthetic pleasure from bright embroidered national costumes and dashing horsemen
- delicious treat at the end (pilaf is excellent)
- horses are just a miracle, you can ride them at the end, follow a man without a bridle
- during the show, the audience was taken care of - there are enough seats under a canopy from the hot sun, besides the benches are covered with "carpets"
Of the cons:
- a story about nomads and their traditions at the level of 5th grade textbooks (rather primitive, as if it is assumed in advance that tourists do not know anything at all) + it is outright fantastic that the Kazakhs are the ancestors not only of the Tatars and half of the peoples of Siberia, but also of the Finno-Ugric group (Estonians and Finns will be surprised)
- it is very stuffy inside the yurt, since natural carpets and carpets have been replaced with synthetic ones (which even surprised our guide)
- the horse show itself is very simple in terms of jigging, in my opinion, it was more interesting to put more emphasis on national moments (they are in the show, but not much). The dance with horses is interesting.
In general, it is interesting to visit.
Separately, I would like to note the stunning view from the observation deck (these are mountains!!! It's unrealistically beautiful there)
A wonderful place where an atmosphere of celebration and hospitality is created. I learned a lot about the life of nomads, the yurt and dispelled some myths. With a sinking heart, I watched the jigging, how professionally, easily and with a smile on my face all the tricks are performed. One can only guess how many hours of training were spent by the performers to achieve such a high level!!! Of course, the girl who takes the most direct part in this performance and performs the most difficult tricks with a sweet and gentle smile on her face does not leave indifferent!
A wonderful and timely organized flash mob with the opportunity to learn the elements of the Kazakh national dance, all the guests are in motion, trying to look at least a little like performers in costumes, no stage, everyone moves next to each other, it turns out a tandem and unity of guests and hosts. The mood improves even more!
The next step, of course, is the hospitable dastarkhan. There are dishes of national cuisine with meat to choose from, but a treat is also prepared for vegetarians, everything is thought out, no one is forgotten, and now a beautiful horsewoman is carefully caring for the guests, pouring them tea.
After you have refreshed yourself, it's time to test your strength in archery. A brief briefing and an illustrative example, and already everyone can try themselves in the role of a marksman. Even small children are not left out, who are helped to pull the bowstring by instructors who carefully monitor the safety of what is happening.
There are many more surprises and activities in the ethno village: horseback riding, and in the winter season and on balloons on a specially designated track, accommodation with heating, allowing you to stop in any frost, corporate events with independent construction of yurts, cooking, participation in traditions and rituals of nomads. Everyone will find something to do for themselves!
I would like to mention the staff separately, the well-coordinated work of everyone in the team. It seems that just now this man was cooking baursaks in a large cauldron and now he is already helping with the jigging. And after the performance, the horsemen are already teaching the guests the peculiarities of the male dance party …
Employees who would now be called generalists of a multidisciplinary field. And no matter what they do, the friendly attitude, smiling, hospitality does not leave them. One friendly family!
Many thanks to the organizer of this village for the wonderful idea, to the people who remained behind the scenes for its implementation in the form in which it appears to the audience today, the details and nuances worked out in practice, the excellent organization and, of course, to the staff themselves for its implementation, patience with customers and boundless goodwill!
Thank you for a wonderful day and happy foreign guests, thanks to whom I found myself in the Ethno village! The program is worth every penny and even more, because it is difficult to assess the good mood, the wonderful state of mind that you all gave us today!
It's a very interesting place.
Stunning mountain views. The hospitable manager Zhanar always greets with a charming smile and with care. The horse show is very impressive, the guys are just great!
An amazing place! We watched jigging, wedding ceremonies, rode horses, listened to dombra, shot arrows, made bauyrsaks and ate them, a very hospitable and delicious place, thanks to the guide Zhanar and everyone!
They gave us koumiss to drink and fed us donuts, which they made with us. They showed yurts, told about everyday life and customs. A horse riding show was shown. There was horse riding, archery. They fed me lunch. The time was spent in a fun and informative way.
That's a great idea. It is interesting to tell and show the way of life and culture of the Kazakh people. Jigging (show) This is a separate compliment to the guys, very professional. You can also stay overnight in cozy modern yurts
It's a great place. Good equestrian performances, the guys worked with a bang! Delicious treats after the performance!
We stayed overnight in yurts, it was comfortably warm.
You can shoot arrows, and they let you ride horses)
A great ethno-village. If you are not familiar with the nomad culture, it will be very interesting. The program is conducted in Kazakh, Russian and English. We had a delicious meal, listened to it interestingly and behaved perfectly all day. Horse riding and jigging are fascinating)
This is a Place of Power for me. I first came by accident in winter, when my soul hurt so much that it was hard to breathe. Everything was closed, but by some miracle I saw the rental of a yurt in the mountains. It took an hour and a half to get there by taxi from the airport. I took a chance and went.
It was an extraordinary day. With the warmth of homemade baursaks and pilaf, jam, honey, and even porridge in the morning.
The yurts are warm, heated, and have their own bathroom. Someone wrote, not 8 lakes. Yes, that's right, but the price tag is different. And here the soul is healed. At any time of the year.
Then I came and brought my guests. No one left indifferent. And a bonfire place and archery, horse riding, a wonderful sauna (which we could not miss even once).
The ethnographic program for foreign guests is rich and interesting. Not only words, guests can see everyday objects of the Kazakh people in the yurt, touch on everyday life and the history of cultural heritage. The horse show is at a height, especially at the end, after the stunts, the horsemen and girls take out the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan, you can watch and applaud with special pride.
I can write for a long time, but it's better to come once and open my heart. It is not necessary to evaluate by arrivals, this is different. The soul is singing there.
The best place near Almaty for foreign tourists who want to learn and see the Kazakh traditions live.
All the shows are at the highest level.
By the way, the staff speaks excellent English.
The equestrian performance is great. Shoot with a bow, study the structure of the yurt, eat local food, take a photo against the background of beautiful mountains.
A wonderful authentic place, greeted with soul and care, we were in the pouring rain, the program was changed on the go, but everyone was delighted! I highly recommend you to visit in order to feel the national flavor and learn a little more about the life of nomads
You must come here. This is a place where guests who come to Almaty will definitely be taken. Rider girls-guys, perform great on horseback. For guests from abroad, girls interpreters explain the Kazakh traditions well. 👍👍👍👍👍

A great place to explore the culture of Kazakhstan. They taught me how to assemble a yurt, cook tortillas, and shoot arrows)
They showed a jig.
They were deliciously fed with local cuisine.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I recommend
It is always pleasant to visit the ethnoaul of the Huns, on August 29 I took a coworker from the city of Zhanatas, Asylbek Kasymbekov, and this visit coincided with tourists from Brazil, which was interesting to the questions of the guests, for example, they asked how many people the Six-rope yurt is designed for and when to get married, the newlyweds where they will be and the Guide answered, then puts a separate yurt. And what I especially want to note is how clean the bathrooms were, 2 years ago it was not so. I was glad that the guests liked it very much. Sincerely, Candidate of Economic Sciences Amangeldy Zhumakhanovich Mukakhanov
A wonderful place, you get charged with energy and clean air! The kitchen is magnificent, and do not be put off by the modest decorations of the yurts, but luxury is not needed there. I recommend
For this area, the level of service and quality of yurts are quite acceptable. There are not 8 lakes, but you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ride a horse, walk along the trails.
I recommend it to both the guests of Almaty and the residents themselves. We were on Nauryz, adults and children liked everything very much!
