The restaurant is delicious, but they are focused on groups. We booked a table in advance, but when we arrived, it turned out they were having a banquet, and we were left without dinner with a beautiful view. The attitude is disgusting, of course.
I give one star only for the good location of the restaurant overlooking the Registan, but on this side the illumination is minimal.
The food is tasteless, the meat is not fried, but raw.
Customer focus on tourists, there are no locals here. There are many decent establishments, so it's not clear why the score is 5.
It was not possible to try the kitchen due to the incompetence of the staff.
On the first floor, I met the hostess, when asked if there were places on the second floor, I said that there were and sent her to the second floor. On the second floor, the waiter said that they were preparing the floor for a banquet and therefore could not land, he said to go up to the veranda, where another waiter said that they were also preparing tables for the event.
We went down to the first floor to ask the hostess about this situation, to which she simply offered to sit on the ground floor.
But we were fed up with this attitude and left.
And the whole hike through the floors took place with a child in his arms.
A very delicious restaurant!! Especially delicious tongues with creamy mushroom sauce!!! And what a view... just a song!!! Many thanks to the waiter Jahon! Excellent service! I highly recommend it!!
It's a good place. Great location with great views from the veranda on the third floor (the most important plus of this place is just 100 out of 10). The dishes are beautiful. The staff is qualified. Alas, the advantages end there.
The food is average. I took the Uighur lagman - factory noodles, tough meat. A very weak and expensive bar at the same time.
Actually, 4 only for food.
Overall, it's a great place to come at sunset, order tea or coffee with dessert and take nice photos on the veranda.
The place is expensive, but atmospheric and delicious!
There are tables with a view upstairs, but it's a little hot in the daytime.
The service is good and unobtrusive, the prices are high
Perhaps the best place in Samarkand. We were in 2 more restaurants, including the Samarkand restaurant. But here the service and food are at the highest level.
The portions are large and beautifully decorated. Rustic potatoes with sauce are above all praise. We were on the second floor, overlooking the Registan. Quiet music is playing, inexpensive local wine.
A gorgeous place!
We sat on the terrace on the third floor in the evening, listened to pleasant music, looked at the Registan.
We ordered dishes of Uzbek cuisine - everything was brought within 10 minutes.
One of the most pleasant impressions of Samarkand - we recommend it to everyone!
We booked a table on the second floor to watch the sunset. We came, and there's a banquet! The host just spread his hands and said that he was informed late that there would be a banquet, so he canceled all reservations. In fact, the last evening in the city is ruined.
The place is very beautiful, but the service was disappointing. You could have warned me.
A nice pretentious restaurant!
The food is delicious, the staff is polite.
The roof of the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Registan towers, but you need to book seats in advance.
An expensive restaurant in a good location, for the presented menu it is expensive and not so delicious ... the same thing can be eaten and much tastier on the outskirts for a quarter of the bill amount, the interior is ordinary…
Well, the place is beautiful, the location is also good. Positive:
service, attitude to customers, food, lagman ate, the portion was small, but it was enough to get enough, I took more salad, tea and bread
Minuses :
It is very expensive, I could stretch it for 2 times in Tashkent for this price, for lunch and dinner, for about the same taste of food!
They brought a shish kebab made of stale meat and over-dried.
The waitress is not an intern, but she looks like she's taking an order for the first time in her life. We waited for the waiter for 35 minutes.
The institution as a whole does not care about customers and seems to be just satisfied that they are being delivered with a tour of customers.
I do not recommend it
A great place to spend an evening, spectacular serving of dishes, courteous service, a wide selection in the wine list and original drinks, in particular, tea.
I didn't like it.
The food is tasteless, the service is slow, the waiters are inattentive.
We ordered meat - very tough and salads, one of which did not contain half of the ingredients.
The view is beautiful, but it can only impress on the first day.
A restaurant near the Registan. A very pleasant and cozy place. The service is excellent. The food is delicious. An outdoor terrace on the third floor will be available soon. In fact, they fulfill your every whim. We are happy to return here. I hope that by the next trip to Samarkand, the illumination of the madrasah will be carried out from the restaurant... It's going to be great!
They were not allowed to sit at the table they wanted. The dishes were waiting for a very long time, although it was a weekday and there were not so many people. The service is disgusting. I couldn't wait for the waiter, he was standing next to us, then the guests called him from the next table, ran away from us and didn't come back, forgot)))
The view is beautiful, that's all.
To be honest, I'm very surprised by so many positive reviews) which we fell for. Apparently paid for. Because the food is not very good at all. The national dishes are frankly not tasty. And this is not our first time in Uzbekistan, and there is something to compare it with. The achuchuk made of plastic unripe tomatoes was especially distinguished, which we immediately returned, pointing out the lack of a dish. To which there were no comments from the staff and the salad also remained in our receipt)
The service is average - for the level of the establishment's positioning, the waiters are not courteous and completely slow.
One of the advantages is a pleasant interior. But I still wanted to have a delicious lunch, and not look at the furniture)
Posh restaurant
Gorgeous view
Excellent service
Delicious cuisine
Good service
You can pay $
National dishes
Very beautiful
Clear
Several floors
There is a veranda
Great place, the waiter Dior did a great job)
Delicious food, service)
The prices are above average, but the service is worth paying for)
Have you ever seen blankets directly covering you?)
The combined hodgepodge for the choice of dishes, both national, European, and Asian, has a fairly high price tag. Delicious samsa and shurpa. Lamb rubber square
The restaurant is cool, the most presentable in Samarkand service class. I really liked the tea and baklava
But
The rice in the pilaf was tough, as if it had been undercooked. In lagman, the meat is tough and does not chew. In general, we ate tastier, we thought everything would be at the highest level)
Maybe it's usually better. A good place
A good restaurant. The main highlight of it is that you can sit on the roof to see the sunset and the beauty of the night city! It is located almost on the Registan, behind the madrasah. Very tasty cuisine, both local and European
The most expensive and tasteless restaurant in all the time that we traveled to Uzbekistan. A complete disappointment. Lagman was brought cold and porridge-like, mashed potatoes in bestroganoff were with lumps, not mashed potatoes, instead of achik-chichuk, just a sliced rubber tomato. Visiting the restaurant was very frustrating.
We were with the girl on May 2, by closing time, but we managed to enjoy both the kitchen and the view (special respect for the veranda with such a view), we had to wait a little while until the dishes were cooked, but the wait was worth it, everything was delicious and harmoniously cooked, the waiters did well, they did not ignore us and the neighboring tables for a full landing! 10/10 to the service!
Great restaurant. European cuisine with a national bias. The prices are normal. There are two places in the whole of Samarkand, Emirkhan and Sogdiana, where you want to return.
Excellent location, near the Registan, courteous staff, fast service, spacious and clean room, prices are above average, but match the quality. There are many national dishes on the menu, and other cuisines are also presented.
I liked the interior and the service. The view of the Registan on the second floor is good. And in the warmer months, the terrace on the 3rd floor is a great advantage. They cook delicious.
Delicious, pleasant service. Exquisite serving of dishes. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Beautiful view from the roof, where there are also tables on Registan Square.
A wonderful place, good-natured staff, ALL the dishes are very tasty, and tea and dessert. We are thrilled. Registan is behind the wall. Definitely 5 stars and my recommendations.
The food is delicious. The same as in most restaurants in Uzbekistan.
Nothing special. The service is good. But get ready for the fact that at the end of the meal you will receive an unusually high payment.
If we convert it into rubles, then on average we got 4,000 per person ! Even by Moscow standards, this is expensive in my opinion! We did not eat more for such an amount in any restaurant in Uzbekistan.
A great restaurant!
Manta rays and dolma are beyond praise.
Stylish interior and a view of the Registan!!! The second floor is better for photos, especially during the day)))
Excellent service.
I asked to book a table for my dr 3 weeks in advance. But when we arrived at this restaurant, it turned out that they couldn't put us at the table on the 2nd floor where the reservation was. Tables were set for foreigners in this hall. The mood immediately became clear what it was. You feel like a second-class person. It was good that it was warm that day and it was possible to go up to the terrace and sit in the fresh air. Accordingly, in outerwear....
The service is good, the waiter tried his best. The staff speaks both Russian and English. Drinks arrive quickly, but the hot one had to wait 50 minutes. Although the steak was ordered. Delicious. The local wine is quite decent.
But alas, the evening was irrevocably ruined. The price tag is too high. Yes, a beautiful view of Registan... but the attitude… Even despite all the apologies and the discount in the receipt for the service....I definitely will not recommend this institution to my friends and acquaintances.
I was there yesterday.
Firstly, thank you very much that the hostess girl put me at a table when the kitchen was busy, after learning that it was my birthday. It was very nice.
Since I went to this restaurant according to the recommendations. And I was already upset that I would not have dinner where I would like. In general, the staff is very friendly.
I liked the kitchen and the service.
I was congratulated with music and a cake with a candle in front of everyone. It was cute)
Napoleon cake is my favorite and was the tastiest! Soft, not over-dried.
I took Samarkand pilaf and a glass of Uzbek wine. Taking into account the service, 120,000 sums were released.
There is also European cuisine.
I'm happy. The festive dinner was a success. The mood was lifted 100%. I recommend you to visit. .
Great place , great waiters , especially the one who asked to write a review , but I forgot the name . I liked the kitchen , but add more national cuisine . Tourists want to try something from the national, and European food can be eaten at home

We visited this restaurant, we liked everything very much, the service is excellent!!! The interior of the cannon. The dishes are very tasty! Thanks to the chefs and, separately, to the waiter Valentina!
We were on the upper veranda.
We really liked the eggplant salad, pilaf and greens. The mantas weren't the most delicious, but they weren't exactly bad either. The atmosphere and the view are beautiful.
A beautiful place with a view of the Registan. Delicious, pleasant service.
It's cool on the terrace at night, the waiters give out blankets, but it's better to dress warmly if you plan to visit this place after sunset.
A good place, a great view from the terrace and from the second floor, the food is all delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful, it's not hot, clean and tidy.
