We had a vacation with our grandson in early August. It's a great place.The hotel building itself is a four- storey building, it is quite spacious inside.A modern mini-hotel with a smiling and pleasant staff.Everything is clean and tidy, the room is very nice, with all the amenities there is everything you need, you can use an ironing board and iron in the corridor.Beautiful balconies with mountain views, where you can sit in the evening.The manager is a very nice woman, special thanks to her!The hotel has its own dining room and bar.The girls always cooked everything fresh and stunningly delicious.A well-maintained beach with crystal clear water is located 15-20 minutes' walk from the hotel.But the biggest value of this hotel is its owner Nurik, very responsive, friendly, always ready to listen, advise and help with any questions that arise.In general, we were satisfied and recommend it to all vacationers and tourists!

A guest house with very friendly hosts.
Excellent location position. There is a dining room with a wonderful kitchen and an affordable price. The rooms are cozy, everything is clean. The room has a bathroom, a balcony, a refrigerator, a TV (although it showed with interference, but we didn't watch it much.
There is a Wi-Fi, while finishing off as far as the nearest stop. Price tag living as everywhere +\-. There are good shops nearby. You need to stomp to the sea .... and cross a railway crossing, for whom walking is hard, you can find options closer. But we were satisfied with everything. The owners are 5.

We had a family vacation in Abkhazia in July. The Eliza Hotel. Gagra. We were met and settled right away, although we arrived early. They didn't ask to pay extra. We ate in the dining room. It's delicious, like at home. The room is large, spacious, with a balcony, mountain view. The room has everything. They offered excursions, it was very convenient not to have to look. We had a very good rest. I recommend. Abkhazia is a country of the soul... Spacious, sparsely populated beaches with crystal clear water and a huge amount of greenery. It is impossible to breathe enough...

We were satisfied !There was a room on the 4th floor with a sea view, a nice, cozy hotel, clean rooms, convenient location. The beach is a quiet 12-minute walk away , the beach is clean. There is a dining room, the food is delicious.

I really liked it, it even seemed like 10 days was not enough. There are polite chefs in the dining room and they cook delicious food, but who counts the girl did not like, on the last day she made an order for 2 families, counted everything together, did not hear carefully what and for whom she needed! I liked the room, of course there are disadvantages, the floors are not washed, the linen is not changed, the garbage is not thrown away. Although some of the linen was changed and the floors were washed.

I gave it to my family this year in early August. What can I say: we had a rest from the heart. We arrived by train, we were met by a transfer from the hotel. The driver is also wonderful, while driving he told us a lot of interesting things about Abkhazia and what places are worth visiting. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were very warmly welcomed by the hosts) friendly and positive people. We had a triple room with a mountain view. The room is cozy, white bed linen, there is a towel. There was always water and light throughout the rest. It takes no more than 10 minutes to walk to the sea. Clean beach, good access to the sea. The weather did not disappoint either, it was very timely, we got a wonderful tan. What else I want to note is that the hotel has its own cafe, they cook very tasty, everything is always fresh and varied menu. The hotel can also arrange excursions, which we took advantage of. We visited Lake Ritsa, Chernihiv, the Athos caves, the nature is amazing! We are very helpful, and I highly recommend it! We will come again!

It was from August 23 to August 30. Convenient location (views from the room-fire). Friendly people. Good service. The kitchen is on the level (it's a pity that I didn't try everything). Happy as an elephant.

I have been vacationing since 06/22/2024 in Gagra with my sister, having booked a room in the Eliza guest house.
Upon arrival, we were shocked by how we were greeted and by the dirt in the room. The price and quality do not correspond to the word at all. We offered a 5-room hotel (3-bed, for the price of 2-bed, as if for "cheap" - for 2500 thousand)
People, if you want to relax and return from Abkhazia with positive emotions, do not choose this hotel in any case.
The room will have clean sheets at most, and everything else is just a horror and a nightmare. The floor is dirty and hasn't even been swept, the dishes were greasy and hairy, there was a layer of dust everywhere, and the curtains probably haven't been washed since they were hung there (in the shaggy years). The toilet with shower is also full of trash- there is no toilet paper, the plumbing is not cleaned, the taps are all rusty and squishy, the floor is covered in dried spots - probably described by previous residents.
It's far from the sea, but they say it's close - don't believe it! The owner Nurik is actually a slippery and arrogant type, he talks a lot in conversation, he actually grins under a smile.
For 2500 rubles. and even cheaper, you can rent a room with amenities on the first line, with good views and absolute cleanliness.
My sister and I did just that - we moved from there to a normal, clean place with good, responsive people closer to the sea.
I do not recommend the hotel, otherwise you can just spoil your mood, waste time and start scratching.

Good afternoon. There are very few reviews about the Elisa Guest House. That's why I want to write. We liked it here. The host Nurik is a wonderful friendly host, the administrator Maya helped with all the questions and is just a good person, Vika also always solves your questions with a smile. The people working at the guest house are all cool. The house itself is clean and cozy. The rooms are different. We had a two-room one with an arch. The room is large. Upon check-in, they were given a tual.paper, shampoos and gels, then you need to buy your own. TV, air conditioning, bedside tables, table, refrigerator, large wardrobe with mirror. There is no hair dryer, we did not need it. 800 meters from the sea.There are kettles on the floors. Ironing table on the 2nd floor. Towels and linen were changed on request. There is a dining room on the 1st floor, the food is delicious. The people here are good, the nature is beautiful. I recommend this guest house.

Hello, I want to leave this wonderful review, I was with my husband at the Eliza guest house from August 15 to 21, we were delighted to be provided with a cozy room, top-level service, Maya the administrator is the most wonderful person in the world, the girls in the kitchen are Vika, Ani unfortunately did not remember the rest of them are delighted, the owners are Nurik and his wife are very friendly, hospitable, the kitchen is excellent, everything is prepared immediately and fresh as at home, we will definitely visit the guest house again, greetings from Omsk)))

I enjoyed my vacation in Elisa. On the way to the sea there is a beautiful green alley, small shops with everything you need. And Eliza's master is a wonderful man. Everything is convenient. Wonderful delicious food on the 1st floor. And most importantly, everything is fresh. You can eat without fear of consequences. We even took their khachapuri home. They welcomed us with all their heart. They organized all the excursions for us. Moreover, the owner arranged for us to be picked up directly from the hotel, which is very convenient. We want to visit them again in the autumn. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

There is one plus in this guest house- a generator that saved us in rainy weather. We were with light, with water, and we didn't know any problems. The sea is 23 minutes away. The photo shows our room, the view from the attic.
And then there are only disadvantages. We were not very warmly welcomed. Whether there were rooms or not, we were given a triple room for the night without a bathroom, one of the advantages was the balcony. We promised a room with its own balcony on the 3rd floor, as a result… No one planned to move us in the morning, or were ashamed of something, we waited from 8 in the morning. We were sitting up and already we were waiting and at 3 we went to ask to move. We were accommodated on the 4th floor, a room without a balcony but has its own attic - only for two rooms. The view is good of the city and the sea, but it was... until everyone was covered with underpants and other clothes from all over the floor. The distribution of guests is of course something with something. Double bed, no-I didn't hear! Two odnushki shifted. There is one kettle per floor. For two weeks we washed our own sink and toilet, wiped and threw out the garbage. I did not wash the floor, because in the basin, in which clothes were washed afterwards, it was a pleasure. There was a rag, but we were told it was a rug. Polatentsa asked us to change it and they gave us a hairdryer. Evenings were rarely spent in the attic, then people would come to smoke, we don't mind of course, but we didn't really want to sit and chat together in front of others. The dining room is a separate story. It's good that we don't have the power turned off, others were upset of course. It wasn't particularly tasty and was more expensive than in other places. The pizza was nothing, two of them took it with them. Porridge, noodles with chicken are also fine. The bed has only one outlet and one bedside table, which is extremely inconvenient (double room) everything in the bathroom is rusty.

Extremely budget guest house. Nothing terrible, but in fact-just a roof over your head. There may be variations on the numbers, but ours (the 10th) was very poorly cleaned. In fact, there is everything: 2 beds pushed together- mattresses that have been laid to horror, a bedside table (one drawer is held on tape), 2 chairs, an Ikea table, air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a balcony with clotheslines, a niche in the wall like a wardrobe. Instead of blankets, there are 2 sheets. There were 2 old Soviet bedspreads in the closet-they covered themselves. There is no toilet paper in the toilet, only 2 small pieces of soap. 2 bath towels were given. The floor, all surfaces, plumbing are not for clean people! Everything is dirty. Everything was treated with antiseptic. The basin in the bathroom was also useful for us on the 4th day of rest)) It is not known where they caught rotavirus, they lay for 2 days. Basically, everywhere in the catering is dirty there.
Pleasant hosts. No one will run after you, but all questions will be answered. It is convenient that there is a cafe downstairs-good food at very pleasant prices. The location is far from the center and the traffic is moving. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the sea slowly. We were just enjoying the walks.
By and large, if you are not very squeamish, it is quite a passable guest house. If the owners had paid attention to the quality of cleaning, small things like tual paper, I think they would have had more guests

For those who want a hotel service, you can scroll right through. This is a guest house, there are other rules here))) When the choice fell on the guest house, I was ready for it. Cleaning and linen change on request. Do not hesitate to ask, they will not refuse you. We had a triple room, it was spacious and had a balcony. The room has a TV with the Yandex platform. On the ground floor there is a dining room, the kitchen is excellent, the prices are too. Huge greetings to the chefs! Coffee for 50 rubles is a fairy tale. And you can also drink cold, dry homemade wine for dinner. Of the cons: sometimes the water pressure is not very good, and there was no hot water on the day of departure. But still, for a guest house, I consider Eliza quite worthy.

Great hotel! Fresh renovation, great mountain view. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach, but you are on vacation, so this is not a problem for me personally) Next to the hotel there is a stop "School 3", from it you can take public transport / minibuses to any popular point in Abkhazia (Sukhum, Psou, Pitsunda, New Athos, etc.) A separate respect for the kitchen and table workers - 5 points, thanks for the food, very, very tasty) Nurik is the owner of the hotel, a great guy, can organize any tour of the legendary places of Abkhazia. And for those who write nasty things, you will remember how you "messed up" when placing and behaving while staying at this hotel... If I return to Gagra and there are empty seats in Eliza, I will definitely check in. Thanks to all the employees and the owner of this hotel for a great vacation in September 2022!!!

We have rested in this guest house several times.A wonderful family.They were greeted and escorted off like relatives.I really liked it.I keep remembering how delicious Ganna made coffee.And you will not find better boats (khachapuri) in all of Abkhazia.

We lived in this guest house.
On the first day, as soon as we arrived, it was clear that we were not welcome, the negative attitude of the owners, they feel like Gods, settling in terrible rooms, thereby showing their,, face,, they just take money, and there is no service, there are not enough replaceable towels, kilograms of insects in the chandelier on the ceiling, the room is dirty there is a balcony, but it pleases little, it goes out into the courtyard, where there is constant noise of a mini-electric substation, constant interruptions with light and water, far from the sea.

This is a terrible hotel, for such money, the room is dirty, the bed linen is disgusting, the sight of food in the dining room is disgusting. I do not advise anyone to rest there. They lie about the sea that it takes 15 minutes to walk, at least half an hour past dirt and debris, the beach is all dirty. There really isn't even a place to sit down in the room, and the tea is boiled, the furniture is missing from the word at all. We had a rest in August 2021.

I rarely write reviews, but I want to warn people who want to choose GD Eliza. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here.
1) In Abkhazia, the lights and, accordingly, the water are often turned off, sometimes for several hours. The hotel does not have its own generator. Therefore, when you return from the sea to rest in the room in the heat, you will find a hellish stuffiness and lack of water.
2) There is a dining room in the same hotel. It is also unclear what happens to food when the refrigerators are not working. It is cooked with a lot of oil. Be careful not to get poisoned.
3) The room has never been cleaned in all 7 days. They did not give towels, linen, soap until they asked for it themselves. They also asked to change the towels themselves.
4) The wife of the hotel owner is very rude and unfriendly. The hotel's guests are treated terribly.
