Nice hotel! It is located in the historical center of Istanbul. It is better to take a room with a balcony. It is also better to choose a higher floor . As for breakfast, it is very budget-friendly). The prices in the restaurant are quite high. You can't pay with a card in a restaurant , only if there are lira on the card , or in cash . The rooms are very average. The most important convenience of this hotel is its location.
I want to warn other people with my review of this terrible hotel! We used to always stay here and everything was fine, yes there were some situations, but they were always solved. This time, having arrived from another country, having not slept for a day, we booked a room in advance, that is, we had to check in at 14:00 in the afternoon, but arrived the next morning, taking care not to sit and wait for check-in. As a result, arriving at 5 a.m., the fun began. At first, the concierge stood and watched as two women tried to drag our suitcases up the stairs to their hotel, until I went in and asked if he was going to help us, then he asked if we had come to check in or just to ask, that is, if we checked in, he would help. Further, at the reception, a very incompetent man gave us the keys to a room that we had not booked, suspecting nothing, we go to the room, and there is just horror, a smoking floor, the room is all smelled of cigarettes, dirty, with wet pillows and bed linen, of a different category, not the one that we booked, with a bathroom meter by meter!!! In which you can enter only one at a time!!!with a terrible balcony, whose door wouldn't open, with one bed instead of two, all dirty, as if for drunks. We couldn't stay in this horrible room for a minute, my mother became allergic to the smell of cigarettes.
Naturally, we went down to find out what they started to prove to us that this was our room!!! That's exactly what we booked! After long trials, requests, they began to promise that they would give us our room in the afternoon, we were not satisfied, why should someone live in a good room for our money, and we are in this nightmare. Then they promised that they would give us our room at 9 a.m. When we came down again at 9 a.m., the shift was completely different and we had to explain everything all over again, as if they were mocking us!!!! They absolutely don't care that they sold our room to someone else! Although we had 4 nights of accommodation! As a result, with a scandal, we were given our number after another 2 hours and did not admit our guilt!!!! No one apologized! And this concierge is just the height of mayhem! We communicated through a translator on the phone, and when he wrote another answer, I looked into his phone and knowing this, he wrote very vulgar things and immediately erased them when he saw what I read! And then I wrote my answer! What happened to this hotel in general is not clear!!! We will never come here again! Although there were 6 times!!!! Boors!!!! I will also add that the hotel has completely become Arab, there are no Europeans there now! Because of this, you can stay up all night, because they are used to sleeping during the day and sitting in rooms at night and yelling! Running children from room to room along the corridors at 2 am is also in the order of things! I don't advise anyone to stay here! And even when we were leaving, so as not to carry our suitcases to the taxi, they also hid everything, the taxi driver came and brought it himself! And these "men" hid. Although they promised that they would take it, but they left and did not come out again!!! A very bad hotel.
A great place to stay for a couple of days, everything is within walking distance. Beautiful clean rooms, courteous staff who help you solve any issues.
The hotel itself is a top, good breakfasts, strong mattresses, a lot of buns in the room, noise-insulating windows. There is a news that the spa is open only after lunch. The hotel has two entrances - it consists of two buildings, each with its own dining room, the larger building also has its own cafe on the ground floor. I did not understand if there is a fundamental difference between them. The area is a bit tense - there are a lot of touts, restaurants charge exorbitantly, I advise you to have a snack in the hotel cafe or somewhere south closer to the next metro station.

Unfortunately, we didn't like it. The hotel has two branches nearby, and we were accommodated in another one, which is not in the photo. As a result, there are more minuses than pluses, because the expectation - reality did not come true
Positive:
Excellent breakfast, beautiful interior,
➕a plate of fruits on the day of arrival (but some are sour),
➕very comfortable beds
Minuses:
spa
➖not the same pool as in the photo
In the spa room (swimming pool, gym, sauna, hammam, locker room), a young guy is watching you. My friend and I were uncomfortable.
➖ In the pool only with a hat (1 piece - 500 rubles)
➖ We were not allowed to enter the hammam for half an hour, because they gave a woman a paid massage there
The hammam is just a warm room, even without wet steam. It looks old and dirty.
ROOMS
➖ little storage space for clothes and few hangers
➖useless TV without smart TV
➖view from the window to other windows
➖a small bathtub and in very poor condition
There is no brush in the toilet
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
➖ we were refused a late departure, allegedly the hotel is overcrowded
Why then include this feature in the benefits of the hotel, if in fact it is refused?
location:
➖the avenue of some kind of bazaar with gypsies and palm trees.
Very expensive near the hotel, on the first day we ate in a cafe for 6k rubles (2500 liras)
Taksim Square was not impressed, but I recommend Istiklal Avenue. Sweets and tea are served in candy stores. There are many shops. It is better to walk there in the morning, under the sun.
Bottom line: We won't be coming back here.
There are few advantages. We are very satisfied with the breakfasts, it is delicious.
We are very satisfied with the interior of the entire hotel and rooms. EXCEPTION: the bathroom is terrible.
There were huge hopes for a spa, pool, hammam, mainly because of this we were ready to pay good money, but we were very disappointed and went only 1 time.
And, of course, very upset about everything else. We looked at photos of one hotel, and settled in another 🙄
Great hotel. The food is good, varied; the rooms are spacious, clean; cleaning is daily.
The only thing I didn't like was the elevator working only from the room card and the lack of tea in the catering hall during lunch.
The hotel is not bad with a good location! Great breakfasts! From what I did not like: a long wait for elevators and often the bar does not work in the evening, the bar on the first floor. Maybe just unlucky...
Nice hotel , we had a rest in March 2023 .There is breakfast.Worthy of his stars.A nice bonus on departure.Presented with a box of chocolates at the reception )
Well, I don't know what the Elite is here... breakfast is absolutely not delicious... the rooms are equipped, but not very cozy. It's good that the room was quiet
Great hotel!
Last week we held our annual international conference at the Elite World Istanbul Hotel. This was our second event in Istanbul, and it was the first time we held it at this hotel. Everything went great! Next year we plan to hold an event at the same hotel. As the event director, I would like to share my experience of hosting an event and staying at this hotel. I think it can be useful for both corporate clients and individual travelers.
Conference rooms
The Elite World Istanbul Hotel has excellent conference rooms of various sizes. We used the largest conference room (Lalezar). The hall is very beautiful and spacious (335 sq. m.). The size of the room was important for us, and next to Taksim Square it is difficult to find a site with large conference rooms. The Lalezar hall is well decorated and furnished, equipped with all the necessary audio/video equipment for the conference. Despite the fact that this hall is located underground, high ceilings, good lighting and beautiful interior design ideas with lots of mirrors make it suitable for both business conferences, special events and weddings.
Food
The hotel offers a conference package system. As organizers, it is very convenient for us that the package includes all meals at once (coffee breaks, lunch and dinner, if necessary). The package is formed for you. We took a conference package with two coffee breaks and lunch. The food at the hotel is excellent. Breakfast and lunch are served in the main restaurant (buffet). For breakfast there were a lot of delicious cheeses, fresh vegetables and fruits, hot dishes, eggs/omelets, a large selection of pastries. For lunch - a variety of snacks, hot dishes (fish, meat, chicken, pasta). Everything was fresh and delicious. Desserts for lunch are a separate topic, it is impossible to leave without trying everything. Meals at the hotel are organized in accordance with the COVID prevention guidelines.
Rooms
The participants of our conference and the organizing team lived in this hotel. The rooms are cozy and spacious. Rooms are cleaned daily. Free water bottles and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in the room. I stayed in a room with a city view on the 6th floor, but there were rooms without a city view if you don't want to hear the noise from the street. The beds are comfortable. Blackout curtains make it possible to sleep longer.
Customer service
The hotel has excellent service and a very friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Guzel from the Guest relations department and Yuksel from the corporate sales department. It was a pleasure to work with them. All our requests were fulfilled in a matter of minutes. It is very pleasant that Elite World Istanbul Hotel has such a strong team of professionals who take care of the guests and hold events at such a high level. Many thanks to Farhat and Azat, who helped us throughout the conference.
Location
The hotel is located very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. There are many restaurants, souvenir shops, banks, currency exchange and supermarkets in the vicinity of the hotel. If you want to see the city, you can take the metro, funicular or bus. There is a bus stop nearby that provides buses to Istanbul and Sabiha Airports.
The hotel has a SPA center. If you stay at the hotel, you can use the swimming pool, sauna and hammam for free. They give out towels and you can leave things in the locker. There is a room service, but I did not use it. I stayed at the hotel for a few days after the conference, and I was very pleased to receive a birthday greeting from the hotel. They decorated my room with balloons and presented me with a cake with a candle and an inscription. It was a very pleasant surprise!
I recommend Elite World Istanbul Hotel as a very good hotel in the center of Istanbul. And I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I come!
Disgusting sound insulation in the rooms: a sleepless night, as in the next room until 4 a.m. a drunken company laughed loudly and did not respond to comments. All requests to the reception did not lead to anything. I stayed in room 1507 on the 5th floor, it feels like there is absolutely no sound insulation - every rustle can be heard both on the street and in the neighboring room 1505, in which the party was taking place.

Comfortable rooms, clean. Good location. Breakfast is average
Not a bad hotel. In principle, the location near Taksim Square also corresponds to the rating (if you need it, because there are places more interesting than the square)
The hotel deserves its 5 stars. There are a few little things that spoil the picture a little, for example, the lack of bathrobes for the pool. However, they were brought to us after the request. And so, a convenient location, not far from the metro and bus stop to the airport. The breakfasts are excellent, the staff is friendly and helpful. We wish prosperity to the entire staff of the hotel.
