We stayed at this hotel from 16.07 to 23.07.
A full hotel, rooms were paid for with a sea view, but everyone turned out to be busy, so they settled my husband and me in a room with a view of the pool, our friends - similarly.
The rooms are standard, not very spacious, the furniture is old, the room smells of old furniture.
Restaurant -
You will not stay hungry, there is an afternoon lunch near the pool: French fries, barbecue or fish on coals and vegetables.
All for a solid four.
The most beautiful thing about this hotel is the sea and the sand!
We are ready to come here again only from across the sea!

We spent all our days on the beach, to be honest - at 6.30 - 7.00 we specially went to take sun beds, because by 9.00, after breakfast there were no empty places on the shore.
We went to the city of Mahdia by taxi 5 E in one direction, walked through the bazaar and olive shops. butter, sweets, spices.
Yes, there are shops in the hotel, see the expiration dates for Everything!!! We have collected creams and oils, but they are overdue, already last year.

I have been staying at the hotel since 05/23/2023. I liked everything, the attitude of the staff, cleaning, animation. But the hotel is more family-run, there were very few Russians.The food is decent, not very diverse, but there is a choice.Minus, one bar was working, and the Internet was not very good.But this is a budget 5* hotel. Cleaning every day.In general, everything is fine 👍

Not the best option, since the hotel requires renovation, smoking is all over the first floor, there are no allocated places, and they are happy to serve for a small fee. The beach is sandy, there is garbage on the shore, but not critically, mainly grass and camel waste.

Let's just say you shouldn't expect much variety, but you won't stay hungry. there are a lot of spicy dishes, and they are not marked in any way. the rooms are not bad, but in Soviet style, with a balcony, if you are lucky or for an additional fee there will be a sea view. there is a large swimming pool with sun beds, a private beach with umbrellas and sun beds. there is animation on site. In principle, it can be recommended, but for the price of four. The neighboring LTI and Nur Palace hotels are slightly above the level, but the price tag is already higher. The beach itself is flat, the entrance to the sea is also gentle, it is comfortable to walk and run along the beach. Be prepared that there are constant winds on the beach itself, there is no wind by the pool, but it is hotter during the day than by the sea. In July and August, the temperature reaches 40 degrees. It's easier by the sea, but you can't really walk in the city.

In my opinion, the interior (plumbing,carpets,furniture) is 3 stars)to provide a room with a sea view, you need to pay extra)
But the service (animation, waiters and bartenders of the restaurant), food (and they were fed for slaughter-both fish and meat and fruits), proximity to the sea covers this disadvantage)
There are always free sun beds on the beach and by the pool, the sea and the beach are clean)

We visited this hotel in August 2019. Yes, it's not 5, but it's a pretty good hotel for the money. We were placed on the 1st floor and it was great. I left the room and everything is nearby, you want the sea, you want a pool, you want a restaurant. The rooms are shabby, but it doesn't bother you much, you just sleep there. The food is excellent, everything is locally produced, as usual, with drinks, which means that the Russian person is not very)) we did not occupy the sun beds, we were with a small child, we came as it turned out and always something could be found) and the sea, what a sea, is just super! So who goes on vacation at 5 for the price of a good three, have no illusions😉 have a good rest!

We were at the hotel from October 12 to October 19, 2019. Of course, in terms of services and nutrition, these are not three, but the normal four Tunisian stars. Two years ago we were on Djerba- 4 stars, everything is the same, only the beach is much worse, rocky and small.
Back in Moscow, we ordered a room with a sea view (+3 thousand rubles). We immediately provided room 562 on the fifth floor in the center with a postcard view of the pool and the sea. The furniture is not new, but the textiles (curtains, bedspreads, upholstery on the chairs) are fresh. TV a la the 90s, catches one Russian channel-1st). The plumbing is also not new, but clean, odorless. There is a funny old hair dryer on the bathroom wall (a box with a pipe), but it works. Safe, refrigerator (we took bottles of water in the bar)- everything is fine. The linen is clean, quite decent. The towels in the room are white, washed (but without holes, as they say). We changed the underwear on the 5th day. They clean every day, but we often put up a sign after lunch.

The old part of Mahdia is 5 kilometers from the hotel, you can walk around the city.

The towels are the color of dirty sand (they were white). The bed has never been changed in 10 days. The blockage in the sink was eliminated on the 3rd day (they approached with a request 2 times every day). Beach towels are secured. The beach is very small, there is not enough space for everyone, it is poorly cleaned. There is not enough space by the pool either. There is a separate story about the restaurant in general. The tables are dirty, the dishes are poorly washed, there are no spoons, there is always no wine. In 10 days, my husband and I drank 59 grams of wine 2 times (they don't pour anymore), drank soup from a tureen (there are not enough spoons catastrophically), drank coffee from tureens (there are always no cups). It's tolerable with food. And the price is for 5*!

The hotel is not bad, but definitely not 5 stars. 3 is the biggest. Although they paid a fee for the rest, 3 dinars per person per day of arrival, which the tour operator did not warn about in Russia. The attitude towards Russians is not good, they smile in the face, but all our compatriots had a view from the room to neighboring hotels or even worse to households. blocks. They cleaned every day, even changed the washed towels. Room for 3 - accessories for 2! I had to run and ask for the third one.
It was monotonous, in the morning for pancakes or an omelet, as well as at lunch or in the evening for something fried, you need to stand in line for almost half an hour, once it stood for almost an hour.
Once every 7 days you can visit one of the 3 restaurants, my family and I chose Italian ..... We were fed average ...., but again ...., they seated us Russians in the area of the entrance to the hall, respectively, in the most passable places. The food and service leave much to be desired, and the communal dining room tastes better.
Upon arrival in Tunisia, our tour operator (BiblioGlobus) took vacation vouchers from us and gave us pre-prepared envelopes with documents for hotel accommodation. In our documents, there was a footnote at the bottom in large letters, in bold type, that ........ this person's birthday .... Silence.... They did not approach the reception... We experienced it calmly....
The beach is quite narrow, although very close to the hotel, the sand is soft and velvety, the entrance is gentle.... The most pleasant impression is the sea. Beautiful and warm.
The animation worked on 2 + and that + probably put a lot. In the evenings in general.... We ate, went around the hotel and slept, of course there was a showtime in the evening inside the hotel, where 4 boys and 1 girl danced something on the stage (our kids dance more interesting in kindergarten) and then a disco.... French-Arabic....
My vacation was ruined, I DIDN'T LIKE IT.

Do not go to this hotel in any case!!! This is a nightmare!! And with numbers! They are trying to move everyone into the basement on the 1st, 2nd floor, alcohol is terribly diluted - I don't drink much, but it's just a nightmare (alcohol is only in one bar, they pour 30g, diluted, you need to stand in line)! There is no animation!!! In the evenings we watched channel 1 of our TV! Sunbeds need to be occupied at 6 am! And no later!! There is food for 3 in the dining room. For wine in the dining room, either pay the waiters or you will not be questioned! In general, boredom, humiliation, longing.... And they call themselves the five!!! Clean water divorce! They probably write good reviews to themselves! Don't believe it!!!

So it was said by local Tunisians, allegedly when a check comes to the hotel and stars begin to be lowered to him, the owner of the Muradi hotel (a local businessman has a chain of hotels with similar names - I do not advise taking his hotels) begins to blackmail the Tunisian state by closing all hotel chains and disbanding employees on the streets of the city, leaving them without work. Therefore, 5 stars) Even next to our hotel 4 was better. We ordered a sea view, but in the end we were given a pool view. Let's go figure it out, they gave us a room on the ground floor with a view of the sea, but the sea is not visible))) They left the old number. Now about the hotel itself,
Positive:
- The pool is huge and deep, the water is always clean
- Sea - 1 line the beach is small shell-sand) the water in the sea is clean, the bottom is sandy.
- My wife says - good shampoos give soft hair)))
THAT's ALL!!!
Cons:
- Food, the same thing is not tasty every day, there is zero seafood, although there is a pyramid of shrimp on the site (don't be fooled)
- The service in the restaurant, dining room, bars will just score on you until you feed the waiter (many did so)
- Alcohol - those who like to drink heavily will not get alcohol in small quantities here.
- Rooms are a tight 3-piece, because towels with holes, with obscure stains (change every day). The stationary air conditioner makes a lot of noise. The TV is an aquarium. A joke - there was a picture frame on the wall, there was no picture in it, it was just empty)) In all rooms, the single beds had to be shifted. There is no Internet (Wi-fi) in the room.
The elevator in the hotel - the light did not work during the entire rest period and it is hot as in a hammam.
I didn't see any special entertainment - a rotten disco, animation neither here nor there, morning exercises and afternoon volleyball.
A fee from each tourist for the type of protection and control from ISIS, which the tour operator did not warn about. I got 18 bucks for two.
Now in general:
I advise you to choose a different hotel in Tunisia. We took excursions "3 cities" and "Sahara 2 days". I advise you to take impressions that are not transferable. The local guide Madi, thanks to him, conveyed the history of the country well and not only.

Honest 3 stars. For the stated 5, there is not enough, for example, natural juices, good coffee. Snack bars were closed in May. Wi-Fi is stable only at the reception. From a good one. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day. If you periodically leave a small tip to the staff, then there will be a table in the restaurant and good service. The hotel has a maximum of 3.5 stars. Russians are not liked in the hotel. The hotel itself is very "dead" - furniture, plumbing, kinescope TVs, elevators...
The kitchen is monotonous, annoying on the third day, alcohol is diluted. The beach was washed away after a week of staying at the hotel in a storm. Therefore, there is no beach there at all now. Don't believe the photos they are ten years old.
