Positive:
The hotel is large, there are many locations for children, a large water park. It won 't be boring with children , but that 's basically it , and now the cons:
The hotel is old, the furniture is shabby, it is clear that they are doing local cosmetic repairs , but it is clear that it is not done by specialists.
The food is so-so, you can only eat grilled dishes and fresh vegetables, everything else is rubbish, they don't know how to make soups, salads and desserts. Fruits include unripe melons and unripe oranges/tangerines, sometimes dates. fortunately, there is a juice center where you can buy strawberries and mangoes for money. And fresh juices . there are no more drinks there, cola syrups diluted with tap water, or just tap water or with the addition of jupi. The wine is rubbish. You can only drink bottled water, but it doesn't taste like pipes and desalination plants.
There are many swimming pools on the territory , but only one is heated , all the others, including the water park , are just ice , it is impossible to swim from December to March, everything is heated in the neighboring hotel, there is constant noise and animation, and there is no one here during the day , everyone is warming up by numbers, there is no program, everything is very far from each other . I haven't seen a single event in 2 weeks, neither volleyball nor darts, only someone threw balls into the sand a couple of times. And only once on the last day we swam in the water park and then in a wetsuit . but despite the cold and not many swimmers, there are absolutely not enough inflatable circles for skating, so we have to hunt for them.
I was also very upset by the Wi-Fi that they sell for a dollar a day and that only works near the lobby and on the street, it doesn't work in the room, and even then the speed is very low in the evenings. For such a poor service , they could have given fifay for free , it wouldn 't have been so insulting .
It's also very annoying that the promoters are annoying, they attack you as soon as you leave the lobby, they don't let you rest, they sell all sorts of stuff for a lot, you can safely divide their price by 3, after you buy them they immediately disappear, and then you have to look for them yourself to get the service you bought, I advise everyone to send them openly on the first day fuck it, it's tough , you can use punches and cuffs to be afraid to approach , and on the second or third day you can safely purchase services at a price 3 times cheaper, because they overestimate prices unreasonably, and the service is average .

We just returned from a vacation, the hotel is not bad. A huge territory. Our room was at the beginning, it's a 12-minute walk to the sea (I spotted it)) There are many pools of different depths, which is very convenient. The room was large, although dancing, 2 single beds + sofa, pool view. The food is so-so, there is not much variety. There are practically no fruits, huge queues at the distribution (But good alcohol: beer, whiskey, rum, gin. My head didn't hurt) . There is practically no animation. The staff is very polite, understands Russian and speaks more or less. About 70 percent of the vacationers were Russians, there are also Germans, Poles, French, Ukrainians. There are a lot of Arabs with crazy crowds of ill-mannered children. They need an eye and an eye: then clothes, then toys will be dragged away. The sea starts in the morning (9-10 o'clock) approximately to the waist, then leaves. It is better to swim from the pier, it is large, there are many sun beds under canopies.
Overall, I liked the hotel, but I wouldn't go there anymore.

Not really for my money.
I'll start in order. At first glance, the hotel is beautiful, the lobby with lots of sofas and a reception desk made a good impression, but it quickly passed. Firstly, Wi-Fi is paid. He catches only in the lobby area, the lobby bar and, if lucky, the terrace bar. for 7 days, $12. This is for 1 device, you can't connect 2 devices with 1 password, pay another 12 bucks. Although free Wi-Fi was indicated at the time of booking. Next, we were settled in a room on the 1st floor, a room without a balcony, although when booking it was indicated that the room had a BALCONY OR TERRACE, we went back to the reception, moved without question. Now we lived on the 3rd floor of another building, they said there was an elevator, but the elevator did not work there. This room already had a balcony, a view of some terrible wall of the neighboring hotel, but it was better than nothing. About the room itself. It's very old furniture, a lot of dirt, everything is shabby. I was upset at first, but in the end I didn't come here to sit in the room. The bed is clean, there is air conditioning, and you don't need more. From the pleasant-the Russian TNT channel showed, the air conditioner worked properly, the water was also reported regularly, there is a refrigerator.

Water park. Cool, slides for every taste, but there is a big shortage of cheesecakes + local children who almost snatch it out of your hands after you have rolled down 1 time. By the way, there are a lot of locals with a bunch of children, but at least the territory is large, there is no special "crowd", just in the water park and the dining room. To the article about food. I read several reviews that the food is not about anything and everything is monotonous, I don't know, we liked it, there was always something to taste. Of the things that are really bad are soups, sausage and sausages(but this is not the fault of the hotel, they have such sausage everywhere), almost all juices and water. The water is terrible in all bars and in the restaurant, I had to carry bottles with me (They are given out every day when cleaning the room-a liter per person). Delicious desserts, meat/ fish whenever, but in general everything is fine. The bars have a large selection of alcohol included, but of the b-a drinks, only lemonades like Cola / fanta / sprite. The juices, as I wrote above, are terrible, I liked only the apple restaurant.In addition to the main restaurant, there is a snack at the beach bar (French fries/hot dog/burger) and "brunch (pastries and cookies with tea/coffee. The staff is cool, the bartenders +/- understand what you want, the guys are positive. Of the jambs on the staff, only the reception, they asked for an iron 3 times, they said "they will bring it to the room now", but alas, they did not see the iron.
There is practically no animation at all. during our vacation, I was there 2 times (the guy sang and a la fakirs / yogis). No interactive activities, aqua aerobics, discos, etc. It's boring in this regard.
My husband didn't like that the hotel is on the outskirts, not in the city, you can't walk, but somehow I don't care about it. Once we were taken to the shopping center for free (we were taken away from our tour operator). The shopping center was good, everything was at an affordable price and everyone spoke Russian. The hotel also has shops, but the only profitable one there is a silver shop, by the way, a very cool person works there.
In general, we liked the rest, got to know our compatriots, swam (there are a lot of pools, but the sea was preferable, although far away).

We had a family vacation from August 13 to 24, 2024. I didn't write a review for a long time, because I didn't even want to remember some of the features of this hotel. If this was our first visit to Egypt, it would probably be our last. But we saw something else in Egypt and we love Egypt, so I'll tell you what I liked here (this is not enough) and what I didn't like. When we bought it, the hotel was 4 . There are 4 good slides, but not enough laps and a very dirty pool in the water park.

Food and drinks
If you like to have a cup of coffee in the morning, this is not the place for you. The restaurant has only instant coffee, and the coffee machine on the terrace was open for one day. There is only normal coffee in the reception bar from 10 o'clock and you literally have to beg for it.
The dining room is dirty and monotonous. There is a very poor selection of children's dishes for breakfast. There are no normal porridges and elementary pancakes (it seems to me that they are always and everywhere, but they are not here) .
Of course, we didn't starve , but in order to have time to take something delicious, we must have time. Otherwise, you'll finish what's left.
2 pools: dirty, children's pools are generally a quiet horror.
3 the beach and the sea- there is no sea from the shore. You can swim only from the pier, but there are very few sun beds. I like to swim in the morning, but the pier didn't open until 9 a.m., so I had to climb over the fence. Not much fun. The sun beds are shabby. There are no showers or cabins
The beach closes at 17.00, and the pools too.
There is no animation during the day. The kids' club is a sad story. We didn't see any entertainment in the evening either.

Elevators are a separate nightmare. We walked to the 4th floor because it was scary to ride in them.
In August, a lot of locals vacationed with us, they are very noisy and not very tidy. That's why there's dirt, garbage, and their orcs everywhere... for the first time on vacation, I was happy to leave.
And also at the end of the rest, on the day of departure from our room, while we went to breakfast, the towel cards disappeared. There was a big scandal at the check-out, but we didn't pay, because I collected them myself and they were all 4 on the table. And after breakfast they disappeared. You have to keep a close eye on your belongings and not trust the cleaners.
I don't recommend going to this hotel anymore, spoil your vacation.
Oh, and I almost forgot! Wi-Fi is only for an additional fee. For a fee and only at the reception. It is not even available in the rooms or on the premises for an additional fee.

I had a rest in El Karma at the end of October. I read the reviews and am amazed. Is this your first time in a hotel, people? In all hotels, check-out is at 12:00 and bracelets are cut off (by the way, our bracelets were not cut off and we could use everything until we left). In general, the hotel is very, very cool! Much better than I expected (after inadequate and unbiased reviews). We arrived at the hotel at 23-40h (special thanks to Aeroflot). Despite such a late check-in, the hotel arranged for us and 4 other people to have a late dinner at the restaurant! It's just wow! We did not expect such a reception after a difficult day and flight. The food is excellent without exaggeration. Everything is delicious, there is meat, fish, chicken, seafood, vegetables in all variations (from fresh, stewed, to baked and boiled), rice, potatoes, spaghetti. Tea, coffee, juices, alcohol always! The pastries are delicious, as in all of Egypt. Free ice cream. I charge 5 for meals.
Rooms. Huge rooms, which are not found in every hotel. 42 sq m!!! Clean, comfortable beds, rattan furniture on the balcony. cleaning is done daily, there is a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There is a refrigerator, air conditioning, safe, iron, if you contact the reception. The water is hot regularly. In general, the rooms are very good. There are rooms not really in the Anex building (to the left of the reception), there may be a view of the rocks and the desert and there may not be a balcony. We paid $10 extra and were immediately given a great room with a gorgeous view of the pool + to the right of the reception) . Balconies with panoramic views. It's very beautiful! . The room is a solid 5.
Territory. A huge, beautiful, well-maintained territory. 9 pools for both adults and children! The water park is very decent. 11 slides for adults and 9 slides for children. The hotel stretches out to the sea and to reach the sea you have to walk along the pools, bars, fitness center, children's club, luna park and various gazebos. I don't see any problems in such walks, as some people write here that they are far from the sea. Then let them relax in hotels without a territory and the sea will be at the reception. My opinion: this is the advantage of a hotel if it has a large diverse and well-maintained territory. There is a place to walk. For the territory 5.
The beach. There is a shallow entrance to the sea and there is a pier. Shallow entry is terrible. The rocks at the bottom are quite prickly and it hurts to walk. It's a long and uncomfortable walk to the depths. I didn't like it. But there is a beautiful pier with beautiful umbrellas and lots of sun beds. There are 3 ladders from the pier at different depths. We swam from the pier and it is much more convenient and the bottom is sandy without stones. For the beach 3, for the pier 5. An average of 4 points.
What I didn't like. The lack of free Wi-fi in the hotel and at the reception. Only for a fee. We did not buy, we decided to rest for a week, but still sometimes we wanted to surf the Internet. Another disadvantage of the hotel: sooo slippery tiles on the paths along the pools. It was laid out not with paving slabs, but with fragments of glossy facing tiles. This is terrible! You shouldn't have done that!!!It can be seen that during construction they decided to save money on paving slabs. I slipped on it several times and fell painfully, especially if it is wet and there is no water on it, because the tile itself is glossy and shiny. Be very careful, especially if your shoes also have slippery soles.
The hotel is not located in Hurghada, but 17 km north of Hurghada. Taxi to Hurghada 4-5 $ one way. If you go for a walk and go shopping, it makes sense. If you just want to buy papyri, souvenirs, leather, sweets, jewelry, tea, spices, knitwear without long searches, then all this is at the entrance to the hotel. All necessary shops are available. Those who write that prices are high, they have simply never been to Egypt or simply do not know how to bargain. I have been to Egypt 8 times!!!. From the first time I realized that in Egypt it is necessary to bargain always and everywhere! And then you will buy everything at a normal price. We didn't even go to Hurghada. Everything was bought near the hotel at a good price.
Conclusion. The hotel is great, but with its disadvantages (but which hotel doesn't have them?) The staff is just extremely friendly, trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The contingent at the hotel is predominantly European, which also suggests that the hotel is not bad. There are Russians, but there are few of them. The price tag for this hotel was more or less compared to hotels in Hurghada, so we chose it. They didn't regret it at all. We got a wonderful vacation, the sea and the sun and a lot of positive emotions.

A good hotel, a magnificent view from the balcony (we had pools), huge rooms (we had two rooms and both with a balcony and very spacious), water was brought in a timely manner, there were no interruptions to the water supply (I just read somewhere that someone had), very powerful air conditioning, safe, large beds, the territory is large and well-groomed, clean everywhere, several pools (cleaned every day and very carefully), everywhere (even on the pier) there are plenty of sun loungers (the neighboring hotel did not have them on the pier), near a supermarket and a pharmacy, polite and helpful staff, tables were cleaned instantly in restaurants. Of the cons:the food is so-so, a long trip to the sea (although this may be a plus for children), but you can walk along the pier. I am a smoker, so it is very important for me that there is no problem with this, there are ashtrays on the balcony and everywhere on the street!!! Excursions are offered immediately, everything that was promised there we received was not deceived anywhere (I also read that someone did not have everything as promised) In general, I liked absolutely everything!!!

A good hotel for your money, a large territory, several bars and swimming pools. The food is very good, a lot of drinks according to the all-inclusive system. The beach is shallow from the shore, but there is an equipped pier with deep water. There is a cleaning service in the rooms.
The hotel team is making great efforts to green the territory, and they are doing it perfectly!
Not bad water slides, almost a whole water park.
Wonderful cocktails and with a smile from the bartenders Islam (at the first pool) and Mohammed (at the beach), the guys just have a separate respect!
Keep in mind that this is not the city of Hurghada itself, so the nearest shops at the hotel mercilessly break prices.
WiFi is only at the reception and only paid, keep in mind.

I was with my friend and our sons from 4.06-13.06.2024. I don't know why there are such negative reviews, maybe it depends on the workload of the staff and the hotel, but at this particular time, I generally liked it there.
We were in the right wing on the 1st floor, the very first corner room. the rooms were clean, cleaned every day, soap and shampoos were also brought every day. The territory is huge and beautiful. The pools and the water park are just super-we rolled all the slides together with the children. The children were delighted with these slides. The pools were always clean.The food is not wow, but delicious and varied, bottled beer and cocktails are normal, desserts are just a bunch of different. All the staff is attentive, the guys understand almost everything in Russian. Entering the sea is certainly not ice, it is very shallow, but you can walk along the pier and swim from there - the deck chairs on the pier are convenient.
There were discounted tours in Luxor and the Egyptian Maldives.
Of the minuses, I'll only mention the employees at the decision-making center - you need to try to interrogate something. Moreover, they approach with such a look, as if they are doing a favor- there is a residue left. And of course, paid, barely catching, Wi-Fi. Previously, this hotel was called "Nubia", but apparently the pandemic has ruined Nubia and a new "el Karma" has bought it. In short, now

The general hotel service, including the reception service, is below the lower limit. The receptionists can't do anything and nothing that they are asked to fix does not help. Everything must be repeated three times. Without the participation of a Senior manager of the reception service, or the director of the hotel, and always with the help of a Tour Operator's guide, it will not be possible to live and just relax in peace.

"Rooms":
Our room from the third replacement, that is, after a reasoned replacement requirement, came across more or less not bad, large and with normal serviceable furniture, BUT all the rooms in the block to the left of the pools exclusively with a view of the garbage dump that is located under the windows in the desert behind the fence (they said there were no other rooms with a normal view);
By the way, most of the hotel was idle, the empty buildings were in finishing and internal overhaul.
Every two days, more often in the evening, there is a complete power outage in Karma. Total shutdown, plunging into darkness.
"Cleaning":
Room cleaning is 1 out of five points.
Linen was changed every three to five days and only upon request with a complaint to the reception; Shampoos, gels, soaps should be required to be put on all guests in the room, towels as well, daily. Otherwise, there will be no replacement of towels or replenishment of consumables;
"Pools":
All five are really a swamp. A green rotten swamp. They are trying to clean them, but in the morning! Not at night, but when everyone goes swimming. But bathing in them even after "this cleansing" is really daunism.
"Territory":
The territory is large, elongated. From the first building, that is, from the "main lobby bar" to the seashore 400 meters.
On the territory, in its center, there is a commercial "Vitamin bar" - a bar of natural juices and fruits! The senior manager in it is Nikitos-Mohamed. Super guy! And their cocktails are a bomb! I recommend buying a mango cocktail!
The mini club for kids sucks!
"Bars":
You will hear totally and permanently in everyone: - "No beer. It was over", "It will be delivered in ten minutes", "There is no ice, it was over", "Mint, lime was over", "We do not make such a cocktail", "the ice cream has melted, problems, fix it"... Well, that sort of thing; Sandwiches and burgers are just not edible products!
Free "Italian Ala Card Restaurant".
It's better to come early for an appointment, otherwise there may not be enough tables, and take more money, because alcohol and extras are on the menu at Metropol prices and in USD. The service is provided by "restaurant e" for 3 points.
"Showers and communal bathrooms":
There are few showers at the pools. There are maybe four of them in total. One for adults and one in the mini club for children, + "main bathroom" in the lobby total: three pieces, for the entire territory. There are no changing rooms at all, neither by the pools nor by the sea. There is only one toilet by the sea. It's scary to go into it. Only if you can't wait anymore;
"The Sea":
There is no sea! To the swimming area, with a depth of 1.8 m, you need to walk along the pier from the shore for another ~ 150m. You'll spend your whole vacation there, on the pier. For that, the beach is completely free :-)))
"Beach bar":
The bartender in it is Islam! Great guy! Islam makes wonderful cocktails, for which it is not a pity to leave a tip. (But beer and ice are often not enough either). Mint for a cocktail is grown right there in a flower bed. But this is his life hack! She washes herself before serving, and only Islam always has fresh mint!
"Showers":
There are no showers on the pier or on the beach.
There is a cabin with a hose in the diving center.
For that, the guard on the beach is polite and friendly and the Lifeguard on the pier is a cool kid. Very positive. It lifts the mood of vacationers every day, as it can.
"Food":
Oooh. Briefly.
Food for 3 is a maximum. The menu is monotonous every day. Fish, normal, is given once a week. Beef is the same. Sausages are two types of dumplings - not edible. Cheese of one or two "hard" varieties is not very high in quality, but you will get hungry. And two cottage cheese- soft. There are no olives, no olives at all, no butter (there is food margarine), no sausages (what kind of sausages are not sausages- it's something long and cut from a chicken breast), no fresh herbs, no grapes, bananas were given once a week, I remember, no figs, well, and further in the same way. There is no children's menu at all. The shrimps were fried, large, fresh and delicious, but in small portions, and only once a week (we caught them twice :-)). The wine is white and Red, all only from bags (while "no one sees" the bartender pours wine from bags into glass bottles, from under the floor, under the counter. As a child, by God :-)).
"The cherry on the cake"! There is culinary segregation based on nationality in Karma! I'm not kidding. They have two main dining halls "Panorama sun rise" / "Panorama restaurant": 1st For whites and anyone. Really! And the 2nd one is Exclusively for Arab locals! I'm not kidding. There's no way you can just get into the Egyptian gym. I received a personal exclusive permission to visit through the direct appeal of the Guide to the director. But in general, the menu in the Arab hall is the same as in the European one, except that there are fresh herbs and no alcoholic beverages. And most importantly!!! In the Arab hall, the waiters literally run around, helpfully serve, smile and were always really very, very happy about my breakthrough into their Islamic hall. A waiter named Hassan literally informed all his colleagues in a voice every time, "These are Russians! Bravo!!! Guys, these are Russians!!! How glad I am that you found an entrance here! :-) And brought a Coke as a compliment :-) A very good man and a professional waiter! He speaks Russian and has 15 years of waitressing experience. The beach is bad, you can swim only from the pier, as it is a very long entry into the sea, you will be 200 meters knee-deep. Very intrusive SPA workers. They stick to girls all the time and offer their services. There is a water park on the territory of the hotel, but it is open from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 17.00. The slides are normal, there is something for adults and children to ride. But there is a disadvantage - there are a lot of Arabs at the pools near the water park. They take all the cheesecakes and the rest of the people get nothing. The Arabs are very scandalous. They quarrel with each other very loudly and everyone else is watching. There was no entertainment in the form of animation. In the evening, a disco was held until 10.00 and that was it. Excursions from the hotel are expensive, we found it cheaper through Cami-Tour.com . The guys have much cheaper excursions. I advise you!!! We took a boat to the island "Utopia" - this is something incredible. An artificially created island that resembles the Maldives. We also wanted to go to Cairo with them, but unfortunately we were burned and it didn't work out, but the guys from Cami-Tour.com We conducted a free tour of Hurghada. Just got back from this hotel. I liked the large beautiful territory, the water park for children and adults (open from 11 to 13 hours, from 15 to 17 hours). There is also a bar, they give French fries, vegetables, fruits, hot dogs, drinks, ice cream. The sea is normal for children, shallow, you can swim from the shore and from the pier. The sunbeds are not new, but not critical, there are always free ones. The rooms are large, with balconies, a beautiful view of the pool. From what I didn't like - it's a dining room and food (dirty, the smell is like in Soviet-era cooking, dishes with chips, forks are not enough) and a bathroom. The food is for an amateur, a lot of spicy, but in general you will not stay hungry. In the evening, grilled chicken is made at the beach bar. The bathroom is dirty and it was unpleasant to bathe.
In general, the hotel is average, budget. For families with children, youth is suitable, if you do not find fault much.

The bed was changed on the last day of our vacation, we were there for 6 days.There is a pier on the beach where we swam, there is a sand bottom, you need to go to the beach, 300 meters to the depth and in corals. We were unlucky with the weather, the wind was quite strong, it was not comfortable to swim, it was cold to go out, the pools were no longer heated. They keep it warm until February. A few cons (suddenly it matters to whom): there is no entertainment in the hotel, except for a water park with cold water, big chess by the pool, discos were announced, but I never saw a work room with music, always silence. We were at this hotel from 05/26/22/2024, mixed feelings, there are both cons and pros.
Of the cons:
-the hotel is the latest on the coastline, the transfer from the airport took 1.5 hours.
- there are a lot of Arabs who come to relax with their family. Their wives swim in the water park in gloves, hijab, which they wear everywhere, sit in a cafe, it's not hygienic!! the water in the pool is muddy in the evening!!The wives of Arabs do not change into aqua clothes for Muslims and no one makes comments to them!
- The food is not very good...the food seems to be varied, but some vegetables, few fruits, meat and fish are the same type and then according to the issue! You need to stand in line to put 3 pieces of chicken. You can only put overcooked mackerel yourself. Sausages and sausage with cheese are impossible to eat, they are tasteless! There are no porridges, nuggets, or normal chicken broth for children. The food is almost all seasoned/sauced. BUT special praise to the pastry chef - excellent desserts! The juices are too sugary. Tea is packaged, tasteless. Fanta, cola, sprite are in abundance.
-animation is at zero!!! Animators do not try, but pretend to work. Parents cannot really take a break from their children, they are not taken to any classes, do not have fun games, do not draw with them, do not do crafts, etc.
