Mashukiye, Kocaeli located about 20 kilometers from the city, it is one of the most beautiful nature holiday destinations not only in the Marmara Region, but also in Turkey. Visited by thousands of tourists every year, Maşukiye is located on the shore of Lake Sapanca, at the foot of the Kartepe and Samanlı mountains. Mashukiye, which is preferred by those who want to cool off in the hot summer months and have a holiday intertwined with nature, receives a heavy influx of visitors, especially on weekends. There are many places to visit in Mashukiye. Kartepe Cable Car and Ski Center, Mashukiye Nature Park, Sapanca Lake, Mashukiye Çınaraltı Promenade, Kuzu Plateau and Waterfall are some of them. Transportation to Mashukiye is quite easy. There are regular bus services from Istanbul and Ankara. In addition, Mashukiye can also be reached by private car.
