The Belarusian Association of the Visually Impaired celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024.
On such a significant date, the task was set to make a film about the history of one of the oldest public organizations in Belarus.
The Action Studio team had to go beyond the usual, as they were shooting not a standard promotional or presentation video, but a film about the fate of people with visual disabilities. At the same time, it was necessary to move away from the socially accepted cliches about blind people.
The collaboration with the Action Studio team was very painstaking, as there were practically no archival materials. The specialists of Action Studio proposed the idea of putting the image of a modern blind girl through the film and thus connecting the past and the present.
The project manager was always in touch. We discussed every minute of the film together, argued, looked for the best solutions - we were really creative! The result exceeded all expectations!
The presentation of the film "The First 100 Years of BelTIZ" took place at the Palace of the Republic on November 21. The film has garnered many positive reviews.
