The hotel is big. Great view from the room (pictured), children's entertainment, the staff is good and always ready to help. The room is nice, the bed is nice, there is a minibar. Everyone understands and speaks English well (this is unusual for Asia). The breakfast is excellent, the selection is large and varied. A large and deep pool. There is a relaxation area with sun beds and bars with drinks around. But with all the advantages, for some reason you feel extremely uncomfortable there. That's how it happens.
Probably, this is how it should be in the promised land of Shangri La: oriental-style luxurious interiors, exquisite furnishings, elegant style, business class orientation, refinement in detail and thoughtfulness to the smallest detail, hospitable and helpful staff, competent and intelligible management, high level of service, spacious comfortable room, the softest bed (as It's a pity that we stayed at Edsa Shangri-La-luxury for only one Manila night!), a great pool with a wonderful garden is a real oasis in the stone urban jungle. Pleasant shopping in malls a stone's throw from the hotel (we bought everything that we planned to bring as gifts from the Philippines). And an amazing restaurant where we had one of the best dinners of our lives. What is called "expensive, but cute"

A wonderful hotel, rooms and service according to the offer. Excellent location. Friendly and courteous staff. The cool German pub Brotzeit is a 5-minute walk away.
