This is the only water park that we found in Istanbul (and we really needed it, because we were vacationing with a child). We reached the island by ferry (public transport), then walked for 15 minutes (it's very pleasant to walk there, lots of greenery, quiet, beautiful houses, including old ones). We visited there twice in September 2024, admission cost 700 lira per person (children under 6 years old are free). What's in there:
- a complex of water slides for adults,
- a children's pool - excellent, warm, slides for different ages,
- lots of sun loungers with umbrellas, changing rooms, luggage storage, toilet,
- photo zones, swings,
- cafe: a standard set of dishes like donuts, pizza, salads, everything was delicious, the prices were average, not prohibitively expensive,
- a strip of sandy beach,
- not too wide a swimming area in the sea, fenced with nets (it was clean in calm weather, and when it was stormy, there were algae and debris).
In good weather and on weekends it was quite crowded, we stood in line to enter and order at the cafe. When the weather was not so hot, we sailed here at our own risk, but the beach worked, although there were very few people (besides, it was a weekday).
We had a great time both times. We recommend it to everyone who happens to be in Istanbul during the beach season.
The entrance fee on a weekday is 700TL. It seems like you can swim by boat, but we walked and got there in 25-30 minutes.
1. The territory is quite large.
2. The fee includes an umbrella, a chaise longue, a shower, a toilet, a changing room, a luggage storage (here they will ask for a deposit - a passport or 100TL).
3. As a water park, it's not bad, there are few slides, but they are pretty cool, you can roll down on your ass, you can circle alone or together. There is a separate corner for children.
4. A fairly wide strip of sea is fenced, so you can swim normally, the water is clean enough, during the day the staff caught algae.
5. Sandy bottom, pleasant entrance into the water along the sand.
6. The restaurant's menu is quite standard (all kinds of toasts, sandwiches, pastas, etc.), there is no bar, but you can buy water, soda or tea.
the beach is very nice, clean, part of the sea is fenced with special barriers, this area is cleaned: no jellyfish, no algae; entrance is 450 lira, which is expensive, therefore -1, but justifies the price with comfort. the price includes sun beds, umbrellas, changing rooms, toilet, shower, luggage storage; there is a cafe on site, the choice is not very large, but delicious; the staff speaks Russian
