Best swimming pool in Minsk

I'm just talking about the pool. He's great! It takes only 7-8 minutes to walk from the metro. The distance from Chelyuskintsev Park and the Academy of Sciences is almost the same.
The Water Sports Palace is large, clean with spacious changing rooms and showers. After the 25-meter shorties, it is very spacious here. I went to the ICE on weekdays before lunch. There are a lot of people, 4-5 people on the track. Of the 8, 5 tracks were always free. But in the evening and on weekends, there are even more "floaters". By the way, there are no benefits for pensioners on weekends and before 10:00 on weekdays.
The time range of the visit is also very pleasing - as much as 100 minutes! You can swim, sit in the steam room, and take a shower.
There is a small paddling pool for kids. The water is warmer there, +30°.
During the aqua aerobics hours for women, all their showers are fully occupied. Men don't have such problems. Keep this in mind when planning your visits.
There is a cafe right at the exit from the pool. There you can immediately replenish the calories you have spent by eating fresh pastries with coffee. Or use an oxygen cocktail for amateurs.
Here, at the entrance, there is a brand store "Mad Wave" with a variety of attributes for water sports. The range is wide, as are the prices.
In general, it is a good place for recreation and sports 👍🏻

The child has been walking for the second year, he is very happy. Nikita Andreevich Lekarev, a wonderful coach, always greets with a smile and the child runs to classes with pleasure. The pools themselves (and we go both to the jump and with tracks) are always praised. It is also convenient for parents: you can wait for the child in the lobby, where there is a mini-cafe and a specialized store, or you can just go for a swim yourself. The staff is always polite.
The only disadvantage is Parking: it is paid, but it's not the price, but the fact that the asphalt, both at the entrance to it and in the parking lot itself, is not in very good condition.

The gym is large, the equipment is in good condition, and there are personal trainers. The cost is cheap, compared to private ones. Locker room/triple shower, turn-key lockers. I was annoyed for the first time by the entrance/exit control system. Then I figured out what to give to whom and where to pick. From pleasant buns, a cafe on the second floor. For 5 meals over 13.5 rubles you get a free lesson in the gym. The flight is normal, it's been 3 months, I'm satisfied.

Of course, I would like to leave a completely positive 5-star review, but all the good impressions of the complex are blurred by one nuance - the entrance / exit system to the locker room area. Is it really difficult to install a normally functioning access system, rather than completing the quest: "try to log in/log out the first time"? Why do we need a QR code reader system that doesn't work properly? Why can't you update the cards regularly so that you don't have to swipe them for 30-40 seconds on the reader in the hope that it will accept them? Honestly, it's a shame!!!

Now about the disadvantages. There is dirt in the showers, changing rooms (especially the 2nd locker room), a lot of people in the evening, there are no certificates when visiting. In a 50-meter swimming pool, the water temperature is like in an ice hole, very cold, definitely not 23-26 C as indicated on the information board. After such a session, my leg and arm cramped. At the same time, the diving pool has been completely empty all this time: no groups have been practicing in it. With this "clientingist" approach, you will soon lose all your visitors. I have been visiting for 40 years, I often visited the outdoor pool in the USSR, and for the last 20 years the spa area with an outdoor pool. The price is now 25 rubles for 2 hours steam room, sauna, pool with mineral water, hydro massage, Jacuzzi. It's pretty clean and tidy. Mixed sessions for families. I think it's worth the money.

I've been going to the ICE since 1997. The program is always standard - 2 hours of table tennis, 1 hour of a gym, 1 hour of a sauna with a swimming pool. Initially, there were 5 tennis tables, there were a lot of people, it was interesting to play tennis with new people (even once they waved rackets with an Italian!). Then the management of the ICE decided to increase the sports hall and reduced the number of tables to 2, one of them is bolted to the floor with its legs, and the second stands in the corner on the aisle, where it is impossible to play - people constantly go to the stands of the pool. That's the kind of customer care. The second problem is the number of people in the sauna in the evenings. They do not open the second sauna, there is only a reservation for private gatherings. Now, if a person buys a swimming pool, they are additionally given access to the sauna to warm up. The idea is good, but there is only one sauna and a maximum of 12 people, and as a result, we have a picture - a forest of naked backs, there is not even a place to stand! There will be fewer people on the Tokyo subway during rush hour! And the cherry on the cake - the stove in the sauna is turned off 30 minutes before the end of the session - they will freeze and come out on their own!
And yesterday there was a "hit of the season" from the gym coach (small, red-haired, used to work in the Helios gym). My friend and I always bought 2 hours of table rental, he bought 1 hour, I bought 2 hours. As a result, my check was beaten at 17-30, my friend was a little late, his check was punched at 17-50. As a result, we gave the checks to the coaches in the gym and started playing. Apparently, we somehow did not please the red-haired coach and at 18-50 he came to our table with a demand to vacate the table, since 1 hour had passed by the check and it was time for us to go out. To our argument that we bought 2 hours of table rental, and even if we count from 17-30 from the first check, we will finish at 19-30, he turned out to be purple and he called a security guard to kick out the "tennis players". The guard also couldn't put 1+1 together at first, and offered to go out or the police in the shoulders if we are so stubborn! Then the guard came up again without a coach and asked to clarify the cause of the conflict, as a result, he realized that the truth and arithmetic were on our side and allowed us to play until 19-30.
The game was good, but the stupidity and incompetence of the trainer greatly spoiled the mood of the simulator. By the way, no one has asked for forgiveness for this rudeness in front of us. That's how it is - a customer-oriented service from the Internal combustion engine.

It's fine. I.e. not great. One of the few pools of 50 m. The interior of the changing rooms and showers, plumbing - all greetings from the early 2000s. It definitely needs repair. Including the ventilation system in the locker rooms - the stuffiness and humidity in them are indescribable. The tiles and the interior of the pool itself also fall short of the proud title of the Palace of Water Sports.

If none of the children are engaged with the instructor, then you can come in with your children. The main pool is the coldest. And the jump is average in temperature. But it is impossible to get in on a weekday, since all the tracks in the jumping pool are occupied. On weekends, you can get to free ones if there is no record. During the 3 years of walking, very rarely there were small incidents with the sauna. The front door to the sauna could have broken down or the stove simply did not heat up. But the next time everything worked.

My grandson is five years old, he came with me to such a large pool for the first time in his life. We went to the children's locker room, there were no keys in the lockers. Moreover, I did not understand how I could send a child alone to the shower, where he had never been and did not really know anything and where he would go later, too, there was no one there, I could not change clothes with him there, there were no keys in the cupboards. We had to go to the women's locker room, I explained to the cashier when she came and began to scold us that the child was small and I would also show him nothing, in terms of undressed women I would not allow, we would quickly take a shower and go swimming. My grandson was scared when they chased us out of the locker room, burst into tears, got stress instead of pleasure, and I also got even more stress. I am extremely outraged by this attitude! I understand that boys should wash separately separately, but this is a special case, and the child is small and not independent yet, and I indicated the reasons why I could not go to the children's locker room with him. A very unpleasant aftertaste remained.. We will not come to you anymore, we will go to the water park. I recommend to equip a separate locker room for visitors with small children!!

If it is possible to use the pool on weekdays until 16:00, it is a great place for training. Everything is democratic and the time of the visit and the prices and, for some time, the quality of services.I have been visiting the complex for more than 12 years, so I can judge the changes for the better and for the worse.My appeal is more directed to the administration of the sports complex. In February 2022, you made a strong marketing move (for yourself) by including in the service of visiting the pool and automatic sauna access (previously the complex-training room + pool + sauna). At that time, 6-8 people could be in the sauna at the same time. Now 12-16, and sometimes 22 people. Without increasing the area of the sauna or their number, you have made a profit (this is your legal right) but at the expense of a sharp decrease in the quality of the service. Visitors are now like sprats in a tin can.
Another minus in July 2023, a bucket of water disappeared for 10 years did not bother anyone, and then they pour it, allergies, etc. In this case, a ban is not the best way.
Another issue that is at least annoying is the low sanitary culture of some visitors.People do not know that it is necessary to take a shower before visiting the pool and sauna (without a drip suit), and after each visit to the sauna before entering the communal pool bath, it is just as easy to take a shower to wash off sweat. For cultured people, these are elementary rules. Making comments to adults is more expensive for yourself, you can run into rudeness or aggression. Therefore, I propose to post short signs on this topic in the showers and in front of the sauna doors. Then you can nod your head to draw the attention of people who do not notice them.
