The residence of the religious and political ruler of Mongolia, Bogdo Gegen IX, is a must-visit if you have reached Ulaanbaatar.
It just doesn't make sense to walk - you need either a guide or a description of this museum to understand the meaning of the exposition.
The museum itself is small, but extremely interesting.
The exhibited sculptural works of the 16th century are especially impressive, unfortunately, I could not photograph them.
They ask for 30k from above for the camera, it's better not to show it at the entrance and before the first control, too. Overall, it's pretty, but there's not much to watch. The entrance is from the south side through the yurt
A magical place. So that our Russian landowners in those days lived so modestly)) But why is everything so dilapidated? We need funding, and the place will shine!
