I want to share my impressions of the Dooryard store in Kherson.
The doors were ordered for the entire apartment from the Papa Carlo company, wooden, with natural veneer – help me pick up the doors and handles in the store - everything is fine.
With measurements and installation, everything is much more complicated. The measurer usually comes after 17 o'clock, because he is also the installer and is busy all day – Ivan. They only announced the date to us and we waited for him all day. A few days after the measurements, we visited the office, and accidentally found out that they were planning to trim MY three doors out of 8 measured: -"since the openings are small," but they didn't tell us about it, and apparently we might not have found out. Since the repair had just begun at that time, and we had the opportunity to change the openings in the process, with the exception of one, then why cut the doors? You need to know about this too. Therefore, we ordered another measurement before installation. But these are flowers.
installation.
The company's requirement is to install the doors at the end of the repair, when everything is ready and the construction work is completed, otherwise there will be no guarantee. The queue for installation is 2 weeks, it is difficult to guess the date, we did not have time and postponed it twice - and now the repair is almost finished, we are waiting for the installation.
We were waiting for the brigade in the morning, but they arrived only at 12 o'clock. From the threshold, they were warned that natural parquet was laid, asked to work carefully and provided a large amount of cardboard for bedding. The "professionals" who guarantee the doors only if the installation of the "Door Yard" team had no idea how to perform the work in the presence of parquet on the floor. I tried to watch them. Despite this, they began to turn over the doors on the unlined floor and scratched the new parquet with a screw, they threw a metal square in another place and also scratched it. The mood is irretrievably spoiled and the parquet too, the office was informed about the problem. At this point, it was necessary to stop work and call the management. We decided to treat the "professionals" like a human being - in vain. After swearing, they began to work more carefully, but, as before, carelessly and hastily: the box was blown out with foam, there were few struts, it did not stand, they began to install platbands, some door boxes blew out with a wheel – forced to redo. The platbands were already slightly stained with fresh foam – they stripped it and scratched the platbands, then they were wiped with acrylic. And so, with swearing and hassle, 8 doors were installed by 17 o'clock, although for this, believe me, it should take more time according to technology. The next day in the morning, they only brought in some of the fittings and platbands that they had cut in the workshop.
To my complaints and remarks in the act, that the parquet and some door frames were scratched a little more by the wheel, and other "little things" promised to be sorted out. After repeated reminders, they still called 2 months later and said they would send someone to look at the comments, but I was away. Upon my return, I called back just a week later and informed them that I was ready to receive the master at a convenient time for them. Then a few more times, they all promised, but no one came. I tried to meet with the director, but it's hard to find him on the spot.
I'm not saying that I wanted to "get them" right hard, I just didn't want to spoil my mood every time I remembered this installation. I hoped for their decency, and periodically reminded myself with calls.
And so, after the installation, the 7th month began. The warranty will end soon – 1 year.
conclusions:
And so, having ordered doors for 50 thousand and paid for the installation of almost 3 thousand, you count on the appropriate attitude, but you get spoiled nerves and parquet, as well as a careless installation in 5 hours in a hurry from Ivan and Co. I think my master, who did the repairs, would have installed it much better and without haste. And the doors are normal, half of the warranty period has already been defended. Therefore, I do not recommend ordering the installation, at least if it is the team of "master" Ivan, or at least not paying for the installation in advance, as I did. There are no comments about the assembly of doors in the workshop before installation, everything is done efficiently and accurately, locks and handles are embedded.
I tried to leave a review on the official website of Dooryard, but he never appeared there, they didn't miss him, there are only some laudatory odes, and there are almost no real reviews about the store and work. It's called praise yourself.
