If you need to leave your belongings, there is a free luggage storage at the entrance, but be prepared for the fact that most of the cells are not closed. Visiting time is strictly limited, as of June 2023:
Summer schedule: 7:00-11:30, 13:30-14:30;
Winter schedule: 7:00-10:30, 12:30-13:45.
If you are not a Muslim, then do not try to enter mosques; show respect for the holy places and the staff of the Muslim Council who guard the order, comply with their requirements.
