you have to pay extra for a lot of things: a guide, feeding the fish, seeing penguins, how sea jellyfish are grown. and there is a part of the oceanarium that everyone can see for free. but after visiting this oceanarium, you won't like aquariums in other countries ☺️ the price is high, but it's worth visiting at least once in your life. you will see a huge number of sea creatures live. from time to time, beautiful girls swim inside the oceanarium like mermaids 😍 those who have lived in the emirates for a long time can tell you how to buy a ticket to the oceanarium cheaper 😉
Friends, I want to tell you about our unforgettable adventure in the Dubai Aquarium! The children and I were amazed by the beauty and diversity of marine life, and especially by the cute penguins.
The aquarium turned out to be just huge, and we spent the whole day there. The children were delighted with sharks, rays and other marine inhabitants. And penguins are just something! They are so funny and funny!
We also took a glass-bottomed boat ride and even went scuba diving to get a closer look at the sharks. It was amazing!
In general, the Dubai Aquarium is an ideal place for a family vacation. We will definitely come back here again to once again plunge into this magical world of marine life!
An interesting aquarium. Somewhat expensive tickets if you buy for the whole family. The variety of underwater animals is impressive. It's especially cool to take a ride on a boat with a transparent bottom.
You can get close to the glass for free if you go up to the 2nd floor via an escalator. Both sharks and rays swim up close.
The rest of the places can be viewed from a distance, but up close only for money.
I admire it every time! The aquarium, huge in its height, makes a strong impression, all the inhabitants are perfectly visible - sharks / rays / fish are different. Previously, the upper part was also visible, where those who bought an entrance ticket could go for feeding, now, unfortunately, the top 1/4 was covered with some kind of advertising screen, the appearance immediately lost its entertainment. But the idea is great!
It's a wonderful place. A huge shopping center with a variety of shops, a large aquarium where, if desired, you can feed the fish, of course for a fee. There is a very beautiful waterfall inside the shopping center, and in the evening there are extremely beautiful dancing fountains. The prices certainly bite a little, but it's worth a visit. In general, if there are supermarkets in Dubai where you can buy cheap food, but you need to go to them by metro and bus, since they are located in residential areas, which of course are inferior in their cleanliness to tourist areas. But it is important that you stick a card in the bus when you enter the bus and do not forget to attach it when you get off the bus. Unless, of course, you like very intense heat, then it's better for you to fly there in winter
Good afternoon, dear guest!!!
In March 2024 we were in the UAE. One day we decided to go to the Dubai Mall. There is an aquarium at the entrance. Taking the opportunity, we decided to visit him. Three adults and a child of eight years old, the cost of tickets cost 27,000 rubles of our Russian ones.
There are many different species of fish in the aquarium, there are penguins, crocodiles, otters, turtles. Interesting design of the zones.
We walked around the aquarium itself probably in about an hour. Overall, it's not bad. But the price, of course, is too high. Because people's standard of living in the Emirates differs from the standard of living in Russia. I'll give you an example, for example, a taxi from our hotel to the shopping center cost 14,000 to drive one way for about an hour.
The tickets that we were given could be exchanged for small compliments, so to speak, the child chose some crunchy balls and lemonade. Let's say a small bonus. There is a toy shop at the exit of the aquarium, where visitors can buy discounted toys, which turn out to be at a fairly reasonable price. We bought a penguin about 40 cm high for 500 rubles, and a small bucket. The toys are good quality. The child wanted to. They took it.
Like many tourists, we have planned to visit many places in Dubai. One of them was the aquarium located in the Dubai Mall.
Like everything in Dubai, it is very expensive and pretentious. But half of it doesn't work.
It seems to be electronic turnstiles, but they are broken, and one girl accepts tickets. As a result, the queue.
The aquarium begins with a red carpet. There is a crowd of people standing and looking at the fish. It's completely free and very effective. The big wall is transparent, and there is a shark swimming behind it. I'd like to see it too. So, you paid 400 tugriks and you are being led between these people and this wall... To see how the same shark swims, but from the other side. And if you are four together, then this is not 400 tugriks, but 400 Bachinskis already...
Then you walk through the corridors and look at the aquariums. Minimum interactivity, maximum boredom.
Everyone goes and asks each other where the exit is))))
Cool inside:
1. There are penguins at the very top, that's really cool. The aquarium is half filled with water and you can see not only how they stand or wander funny, but also how they dive and swim like your torpedoes.
2. The alligator family. I've seen a lot of big ones, but this daddy is just a champion.
3. Otters are cool on the principle of a dolphin-made aviary....
Bottom line: Dress up nicely and stock up on a compass))
Yandex, what kind of vocabulary do you call profanity, friend?
I really liked the visit, we took a package ticket with a visit to the aquarium of the terrarium and a boat trip.
There is another aquarium on the island of palma, it is certainly smaller, but there are few people there and you can get high from the silence and watching the fish, plus there is a coolest water park, you can also take a ticket in a complex
A large-scale aquarium. I am glad that you can admire it from the outside without buying a ticket, but inside you can look at all its inhabitants up close, take a ride on a glass-bottomed boat and watch the penguins swim, very cute 🥰
And according to the classics, you get to a souvenir shop at the exit.
It's beautiful there, but I liked the aquarium in Abu Dhabi better. When it is possible to compare aquariums, the more accurate the review of the advantages and disadvantages of any of them will be.A lot of emotions from what they saw in any aquarium, any age group of visitors, it unites them all. There is something to see and there is something to photograph - it is better to see once than to hear a hundred times. I will try to show more photos, they speak for themselves....
I will explain why 4 *, and not 5, in the course of the text.
I bought tickets in advance online on the aquarium's VIP website (these are: a pass without a queue, one interactive with an animal included in the price, boating with a glass bottom and feeding fish). Thus, at the checkout we chose - interactive with penguins and we had access to all corners of the aquarium on all floors.
What I liked: many species of fish, corals, a huge crocodile, swimming penguins behind a glass aquarium.
Well, what didn't you like:
We arrived at the entrance at 15:15, the visit to the penguins was scheduled at 15:30, so the first thing they drove us to them from the very threshold. At first, we sat and waited for the group to gather to the penguins (8-10 people), while we were all dressed in warm jackets, while we took our things to the lockers. Then they launched us into a small room, where we were introduced to the penguins. It is clear that it is completely in English, whoever understood something understood it. It's great that they let me pet the penguins. Well, the most interesting thing is that they were not allowed to take their phones, there was a photographer there. I must say right away - do not hesitate, pose as much as you want and as you want.
Well, why did I take off the star: as soon as we were released from the penguins, a real market began for these photos, the photographer and her assistant traded figures for how much and what we were ready to take. For some reason, they didn't print anything to us, although we asked. Although we agreed on the fact: 300 dirhams and we received absolutely all our photos on a flash drive.
The penguins had a lot of time, there were already less forces left to explore other places of the aquarium, everyone was hungry, so they ran through all the expositions quickly.
A glass-bottomed boat ride - fast, who has not ridden like this - may enjoy it. Feeding fish is also interesting. It is not necessary to buy a VIP ticket, all interactive games with animals can be purchased on the spot at the checkout
There are a lot of people in the aquarium itself. Overall, I liked it. But we didn't have enough emotions, a lot of energy was spent on penguins, the situation with the photos was annoying, so we also went to the aquarium in Abu Dhabi, which I strongly advise everyone to visit them both (if possible, finances and time of course)
I really liked it. There are many species of fish, turtles, penguins, jellyfish, starfish, seahorses, etc.The only thing I think for some inhabitants are uncomfortable enclosures, too small, they hang in them in one place. The ticket is 55 dollars, too expensive.
Despite the decent price, it is worth visiting at least once. You can see live more than a hundred species of marine life, birds, snakes. There are even live crocodiles and penguins. I really liked the show with trained otters, but you need to pay extra for it separately, and they don't allow you to take pictures. However, everything else can be photographed.
The Dubai Aquarium is simply huge, located next to the Burj Khalifa high-rise. It is interesting to watch, but it is difficult with small children, it will be very difficult to go through everything with them. I think this is one of the attractions that you need to see while in Dubai.
Yes, it's spectacular! But not Wow. The aquarium is two floors high, everything is clean and tidy inside.. You can buy tickets for a more targeted tour)))
We liked the aquarium itself. A large, huge variety of fish, interesting design. The only thing that let us down was the guide who bought the tickets from. She promised us penguins, but it turned out on the spot that to see penguins you need to buy a ticket for a different price (which included penguins). As a result, we were not allowed to see the penguins, and in order to see them, we need to go out to the ticket office again and buy tickets for the aquarium + penguins. Tickets are not sold separately for penguins. Moreover, we were not the only ones who flew by, people on the spot asked how much to pay to be allowed to the penguins, they were also sent to the ticket office for new tickets. At that moment, he upset us. It would be great to have a separate ticket for them at the penguin hall.
I have no words - only super positive emotions! As a seasoned aquarist, I just stuck by this beauty for an hour. Yes, I wasn't inside, but I was also amazed by what I saw. To see a large number of adults who, like children, look with delight at this aquarium miracle is an indescribable emotion!
I definitely recommend it!
For those who plan to visit Burj Khalifa, visiting the aquarium is free!
A huge aquarium inside the mall!!! You can watch it for free, but there is a paid section. Underwater performances are taking place. A wide variety of fish.
It is enough to look outside, so as not to buy a ticket inside. It was very interesting, the child could not be torn away from watching. I recommend it for free viewing of the aquarium. From sharks and rays to small fish.
The aquarium is not big at all. The price of a visit is greatly overstated . In my opinion, our St. Petersburg is better !
Of the advantages, there are the cutest penguins, for an additional fee they can be fed. The sawfish and the axolotl are something that we don 't have .
The aquarium in Crocus City is cooler, the most interesting aquarium is free from the entrance, the largest and most attractive, which all people pass by walking along the Dubai Mall
A place that will definitely impress not only children, but also adults. Huge aquariums, thought out to the smallest detail, a variety of marine, and not only, inhabitants.
You don't want to go out of the tunnel - you can admire the underwater world forever!
Crocodiles, sharks, penguins, bats, parrot - all this you can see right here.
It was also interesting to see a jellyfish farm. Aquariums for them are made with changing lighting - I stood for 15 minutes, couldn't look away.
The Aquarium has all the amenities: a toilet, a small cafe, a souvenir shop.
Yes, the price bites, but it's worth it. There are also special VIP tickets in the aquarium, which provide a quick passage. The thing is cool, but you can do without it, saving 100 dirhams.
I planned to visit there and did not regret it, the impressions are only positive, spectacular, rich underwater world, it's a pity that I did not have time to visit inside
Exaggerated. ) There is a tunnel with small sharks, rays, and fish in the Moscow shopping center " Rio ". ...Oh, and the aquarium didn't cause any super emotions. I expected and wanted more emotions . Even the child asked and that's it....? There's a lot of talk....a lot... in fact, it 's nothing special and it 's not that big . The Moskvarium is more interesting...
A real underwater world! And feeding fish is a whole attraction! It is very interesting to observe such relaxation for the inhabitants of aquariums. I advise everyone
This is amazing! You can look at the floating rays, sharks and other inhabitants of the aquarium for a long time. If you have come to see the fountains, then it is worth taking the waiting time by viewing the local fauna in the aquarium of the mall. I advise you to visit!
If we compare it with the aquarium that is installed in the aviapark in Moscow, of course the Dubai Aquarium is many times larger. The number of fish species exceeds tenfold, plus there is a tunnel, but for a fee.
I haven't been inside, I can only assess it from the outside. If you go around it on the right and go up to the second floor through the H&M store, then the children's department will have access to the portholes, which are much more convenient than on the ground floor. You can come close to the glass, for free.
If anything, this is NOT the largest aquarium. The largest in Abu Dhabi.
The aquarium is cool, but the cost of visiting is inadequate. At the moment, only a 199aed package ticket is offered. They stopped selling tickets only to the gallery. Therefore, we watched only the open part accessible to all visitors.
How can you visit the Dubai Mall and not pay attention to the Aquarium, which is considered the largest?! No way!
I'll write something that I didn't like:
-the cost of the excursion for 3 was 600 dirhams (16,300 rubles). This is an insanely expensive pleasure for the family!
- The aquarium is divided into 2 floors, first you go through the tunnel, and then you go up to the 3rd floor and continue the tour. That is, between the 2 parts you need to walk around the mall
- the number of fish and mammals is MUCH smaller than in the Moskvarium.
-the systemless arrangement of the sections of the exposition (where to go, go to something and look, find the name)
In general, summing up, I will say the following... It's not worth the money, you can watch and be impressed in the Moskvarium along with the killer whale show. There are a lot of people and the viewing room is very small and narrow. It is not worth visiting and wasting time and money!
The aquarium itself is no better than the Moscow ones. but! When buying an additional ticket, you can go behind the scenes: see how sharks, jellyfish and other animals are raised, as well as buy an encounter where they will tell you (all in English!) about penguins, otters or other animals. We took the penguins with us, gave them a pat (at the checkout they said several times that we couldn't touch them, we were already upset in advance, but the guide allowed it). They also give you to pet river sharks without additional payment.
Tickets are cheaper in the kidzapp app
We haven't been inside, but it's very beautiful and interesting outside. There are a lot of fish, stingrays of different colors. Even sharks swim. The aquarium is high, the view is good, you can watch from the first floor and from the second.
If you are interested in the aquarium, you can see it for free from the corridor of the shopping center, many tourists limit themselves to this. After buying a ticket, you can walk through the tunnel, take pictures of the bellies of sharks and rays at close range, in addition, you can go to another floor with a bunch of small aquariums and terrariums, and watch otters, crocodiles, penguins. In the process, you will be offered to buy a printed photo montage with your participation for the price of a ticket, at the exit you will be given a discount on souvenirs.
A very interesting place to visit with children and not only. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Clean , helpful staff! A lot of educational things ! I recommend
The experience is great! The main thing is to reach the end)) many people do not know that this is actually not just a corridor) If you take a full ticket, you will see how stingrays and sharks are fed, take a ride on a boat with a transparent bottom.
I liked it, but I put 4 *, because expectations were not fully met - according to the advertisement and reviews from other visitors, I was ready to see something unique and unforgettable. The number of species of aquanarium inhabitants and its size were presented by the advertising booklets as all the "MOST IMPORTANT" in the world... I didn't see that.
Overall: good. But if it wasn't for the baby, I wouldn't have gone and wouldn't have lost anything. The child liked penguins the most. For some reason, the passage through the tunnel was not impressed, we have already seen something like this somewhere, it looks more impressive from the outside (by the way, for free, this was enough for my husband and me for the first time - we just looked outside). In general, the scale is of course incredible. You can watch a man with an aqualung float over you.
I liked the crocodile - you can watch it very closely.
The price tag for one person is about $ 100, a child over two years old is already paid.
A very beautiful place where you get to the bottom of the ocean, this aquarium is just colossally huge, it is located in the center of the shopping center and stretches as far as 3 floors. Different marine life will surprise you and your loved ones. I advise you to take a look 🔥🇦🇪
Great place) On weekends, UAE citizens plan in advance for a return transfer, traffic jams and taxis that do not arrive. It is better to order from the Fashion Avenue point.
A gorgeous aquarium. There are just no words. Of those in which this one was one of the best. I definitely advise you to visit if you are traveling with children.
A very large and beautiful aquarium. A huge number of different fish. There is an opportunity to scuba dive. You can also feed some types of fish. Of the disadvantages: I did not like the tone, nothing is really visible. And in general, it is better to look outside and not pay 418 dirhams. Because the view from the outside is much more beautiful.
No wonder they say the largest aquarium in the world. You can see the same thing from the outside for free. And you can go inside for 50 Bachinsky and walk through the pipe under water
