A small village of Greeks, on the top of a mountain, the safety of the object is not high, a small amphitheater and a couple of building bases, we got there by bike from Marmaris, 40 minutes, the road is very fascinating, at the beginning you need to climb the serpentine mountain in the Icmeler area, if you have no experience or are afraid of heights, it is better to take a sea taxi to fithiye, there 20-30 minutes on foot on asphalt
Picturesque ruins of an ancient city near Turunchu. You can get there on foot, as we did, but keep in mind that you will have to follow the serpentine uphill. After visiting the historical sites, you can go down to the beach and swim.
to understand and experience the beauty of this place, you need to see everything with your own eyes! I went there twice, and if I come to this paradise, I'll go again. Historical values and picturesqueness... The ruins and ancient walls are just WOW!
We went to Amos in October 2024. The journey took 1.5 hours there and about the same time back. The asphalt road is not difficult to walk. The ancient city itself is located on a mountain. On the day of our visit, the Amos Amphitheater was closed for reconstruction, so we went straight to the highest point of the mountain, which overlooks the sea. On the way, we looked at the houses of the residents of Amos. Go to the point along the cliff, the view is gorgeous. It's a very beautiful view, it takes your breath away. I recommend going to this mountain, the beauty is extraordinary
We walked from Turuncha. The views are gorgeous! Take comfortable shoes, because there are many stones on the ruins of the city, which are easy to turn your feet on.
The scenery is magnificent, the incredible beauty is simple.
It's a great place to experience history and antiquities, beautiful views, and restoration work is underway. Fragments of ancient amphorae lie right under your feet, but you shouldn't take them out.
Gorgeous ruins in a gorgeous place. I recommend walking to the cape, there is a gorgeous view, especially at dawn. And also go down to Kumlubuk beach. You definitely won't regret it.
Beautiful views! The remains of the amphitheater. Free admission. We got there by a rental car. A must-visit!!! And take water with you, you'll have to climb the mountain.
An interesting location near the settlement of Turunchus, about a 40-minute walk away. I was impressed by the ancient buildings and the views stretching from a height.
