A 5* hotel does not pull at all. We checked in late at night, there were no bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste in the room, no cosmetic kits (sticks and discs), shaving kits, not even a shoe spoon. The room is dirty, the bed linen is full of holes and stains. Half of the lighting is not working, and there are also problems with the air conditioner. But the icing on the cake is the fact that the hotel is located near the cemetery. Opposite the main entrance, the graves begin right across the street (5 meters). They are visible to the naked eye. If the travel agent did not warn you about this (as we did), please keep this in mind. Breakfasts are relative. Not bad, but also not wow, very monotonous. But it was good that there were delicious fruits.
A good hotel for this price. Comfortable rooms, slightly shabby in places, excellent beds, clean and soft, what you need after a flight. Good bathrooms, good plumbing. (Sometimes there are drops of cold, hot water in the morning) but this is not a problem.
Do not expect a sea/city view even if the floor is high, you still have offices, a logistics center and 3 cemeteries below you. The city center is only accessible by taxi. Back too.
And in general, clean, friendly staff speaking Turkish, English, Russian.
Acceptable breakfasts, no top, but a snack before the day can be pretty good.
There is a swimming pool, gym, hammam. We used the pool, there is one small nuance, it is necessary to have a bathing cap with you. They don't let you in without it, or they sell it for 75 lira at the spa reception.
If you suddenly want to drink beer in restaurants, then at the current exchange rate you will be ready to give 242 lira, which is approximately equal to 9.5 euros. There is a supermarket next to the hotel, selling everything your heart desires.
Verdict, I recommend 1-2 nights due to the distance from the center of the city center, and the need to travel by taxi.
This is not the first time in Istanbul. There is something to compare it with. Despite the fact that there is a cemetery next to the hotel, it is a GOOD hotel. For the visitors of the hotel there is a gym, a swimming pool, a sauna.
The breakfast is excellent, buffet style.
There is a Deprem Park nearby, through which you can get to the metrobus stop. Nearby is the Fetikhkapi bus stop, there are small cafes, shops, hotels. There is also a nearby park of the same name, Fetikhkapi. There is a bus park next to it, from here you can go to the city center.
In general, the location of the hotel is good, I was very satisfied.
