I came to Dostyk station for the first time). I searched the Internet for a hotel and didn't really have any information, but in fact I found the Dostyk hotel and I'm very happy about it.
It is undergoing renovation, tiles are being laid in the lobby, walls are being painted, and some rooms are ready to move in. I rented a single suite for 18,000 per day and I want to say that for this area, it's really cool! The staff was polite and the room was clean, they were always responsive to requests. There is Wi-Fi on the floor, although the network catches perfectly (I have Beeline)
I give one star just because you can sleep on a bed and go to the toilet here, it's corny, yes, but thanks for that, and that's the end of the advantages. I appeal to the owner of the hotel and hostel!!! Prices for showers and laundry are taken out of your head as much as you wanted, so much was called, there is no decency. Last year, I gave 1000 tenge for a shower and laundry (taking into account that the powder and soap were mine, roughly speaking, just let me use it, open access and that's it. Money from the air is essentially for the super manager of this hostel. I'll do everything myself). This year, she has already been served 3,000, and then reluctantly. Sorry, but in Almaty for this money you can wash and wash for 3 days in good conditions. Well, he doesn't want to do as he wants, I'll wash my T-shirt and shorts in the sink, no problem. Next, the administrator is lazy, does not want to work at all. I asked her to put a stick of sausage and milk in the refrigerator, I'm afraid it will spoil, I see 3 refrigerators, clearly there would be a place in at least one, but laziness is above her mind, sorry for being rude, but it is so. There is no customer orientation and understanding. A little later I come, I wanted carbonated water, I go up to the administrator once again, I ask if there is water with gas, to which I get the answer that there is no water and then pretends that I am not there, continuing conversations with my colleague from the hostel (yes, the one who is the head of the shower and laundry in this enterprise, she there is also a super entrepreneur who comes up with how much money to take from the air for washing and showering in a hostel from visitors). I am shocked, but the attitude is disgusting to people, as if I did not come to the hotel, but to their personal home. Although he was polite and just kept silent and closed his eyes. I just appeal to the owner of this mess that everything starts with people, and first of all it is necessary to put in place normal and adequate specialists who will know their job and do at least something for their first of all head, who pays employees salaries. So that people come back to you, to your hotel. Then you wonder why we don't come to you, and that's exactly why. Soon you won't have any clients at all with such success, and accordingly there will be nothing to pay your salary with, maybe then they will start doing something, I don't know... So, in fact, these workers spit on their boss in all ways, not selling goods from the window, finding various possible excuses. As they say, there would be a desire, there would be sales, but no one needs anything here and no one wants to work here on shift. I am focusing exclusively on the staff who are on shift on September 19, 2024. Horror. Quiet horror. I haven't seen this anywhere. I hope my words will give a solution to this problem and bring order to the staff, not to mention the terrible cold in the rooms, dirty walls of the rooms, constant lack of light and dirty bed linen
The cafe is priced plus or minus like at a car hub, but it's more decent and there's a lot more choice. Hotel... A single room is not small (compared to a car hub), a bathroom is 3 out of 5 and that's because new plumbing and a bathtub and a price tag are 2 times cheaper than at a car hub. There is a wifi- but that's it. Weak. Even the laptop flew off due to a weak signal. At the reception, something is sold from the category of either having a snack or getting drunk.
considering that there is nowhere to live in the village, thanks for that, but of course this barn cannot cost $ 15 per day with cardboard walls.. dirty bathrooms.. broken souls.. by permanently disabling the SVT.. drunken night-time hubbub of truckers.. bright pink walls are blowing up the brain, mattresses are metal bars digging into you. dirt.. throw out the garbage yourself.. Ask for toilet paper.. soap-digging their own.. buy water (at insane prices..It's blowing from the windows.. during the day, the heating is at 30%, in the evening it is turned up.. I had to live a long time.. so it hit the norm.. the food in the cafe is normal but also very expensive ..
