An ideal place to relax in Salou. The service is at the highest level, an excellent restaurant with a variety of cuisine. The staff is very friendly. Animation for children and adults in the evening. During the day, there is aqua aerobics and entertainment for children at the pool. To the sea, 10 minutes on foot through the shopping street. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby.

A great option for your money, it is located 10-15 minutes from the beach in a calm, quiet place, but not far from the main party streets. With children and for a good rest, the option is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, with large balconies overlooking the city or Park Aventura. The service is for real 4 stars, do not decrease or add. There are 2 swimming pools - one on site with sun loungers, the second on the roof. The service and hospitality are at an excellent level. There is a children's animation.

We visited this beautiful hotel twice with our family in 2011 and 2015. Excellent, unobtrusive service, excellent restaurant, lots of pools, great location. Children under 10 years old - everything is free of charge and accommodation and meals. I Recommend Breakfast+Dinner to have time to travel to Barcelona and Port Aventura. Salou is a wonderful place, Dorada Palace is the best hotel!

It's a great place. We were the whole family. Month (July 2019).
The staff is responsible. The food is very tasty and varied.
The managers at the restaurant are Super.
I am very grateful to both one and the other - we tortured them, probably (my daughter was ill). But - everything is patient, friendly. Special thanks for the sunny smiles (I apologize for confusing lunch and dinner; when I was learning English, dinner was supper, and lunch was dinner).
Interesting evening programs (first a children's disco, then an adult show).
But there is a remark:
the little ones love to wallow in the pool. It's always sunny during the day. And the rule is: without a headdress--- it's dangerous.
I liked the location of the hotel:
it was comfortable and beautiful to walk to the sea;
and, it turned out, not far from the Avenue (we went 4 times); and the infrastructure (supermarket, shops, ...) - everything is convenient.

The hotel had one night to visit Aventura Park in the morning. I got a very good impression. We arrived in the evening and were immediately escorted to a restaurant for dinner. The food is very varied and delicious. Friendly staff. There is a parking lot that I haven't seen yet, we arrived late to spend the night. The room was luxurious, I didn't even want to leave the hotel.

Quite a decent hotel, the range in the restaurant is wide. It's about ten minutes to the beach. It is better not to take rooms that look at the pool, if you want silence at night, the reason for everything is animation until midnight. Then the staff cleans the tables, sets up the sun beds early in the morning. In the corridor of the hotel there is a sign "Please observe silence after 23 o'clock." In short, sleep with the windows closed.

From September 3 to September 15, 2019, it was a terrible experience to visit the Dorada Palace Hotel. The first impression was more or less good as we went up to the room. We checked in with friends, so we looked at the rooms in the apartments and did not. The rooms are quite old, everything creaks, cracks and keeps on snot. The feeling that this hotel got 4 stars in the 70s. The most annoying thing was the situation in the restaurant at breakfast, lunch or dinner. A huge number of people, plus a queue at the entrance, I meet for the first time in my life in Europe, a very, very noisy hall and most importantly, very monotonous and super not tasty food. We have been to Spain many times and have always been very satisfied with the quality of cooking in 3 stars and 4 stars. And this time I had to skip the restaurant, because the food caused a gag reflex and not only for me, but also for friends.
The second problem is the distance to the beach, twice a day we could not go, because it was hard to get ready with a small child to the beach, the second time there was no strength left. 1 km. with bags, towels, inflatable circles and other accessories, you know.
Thirdly, the weather was very disappointing, of the full 10 days, 4 were windy and rainy, and the sea was quite cool, as it seemed to us.
We love Spain, traditions, culture, we love Mallorca, but now we will approach the choice of hotels more carefully. When you see that this hotel has a rating of 9.5 on the booking, then I urge you not to be fooled, this is a complete scam.
