Good afternoon
We stayed at the Meric Hotel 4* hotel in August 2024
The hotel does not pull in 4 stars, rather 2 or 3
Food: there is no variety of food, it is the same every day, except for a couple of dishes. After 4 days you get tired of monotonous food
With fruits, the picture is also sad, for lunch apples and green plums, and for dinner one watermelon
Bar: of the alcohol options, only a small list of alcoholic cocktails ~ 10 pieces, and beer.
Non-alcoholic base drinks: fanta, cola, sprite. The bar closes at 22.30
Swimming pool: on the territory of the hotel there is a small pool on the 3rd floor along with a bar, approximately 160 cm deep, there is a small children's pool. There are enough sun loungers on the pool during rush hour. The pool closes at 19.00
Room: at first they offered a quadruple room (taking into account that the tour was for two), as a result, the room was with a broken san.with a node, they offered another-a triple. The room is dusty, the mirror is splashed, and the staff walks around the room in dirty shoes.
The room has a TV, wardrobe, mini fridge. Water was not provided in the room, on the first day they gave out 3 disposable soaps, later, when the soap ran out, after cleaning the room they also did not put it in, they had to ask, and the staff hardly understands even English))
There is no question of any disposable gels and shampoos, slippers, and even more so of toothpaste and toothbrushes. Room cleaning is only on request, towels have been changed a couple of times in 10 days, despite the tips left
Beach, sea: despite the indicated first coastline, you have to walk ~ 5 minutes along the embankment to the beach. The beach is small, umbrellas, sun beds are free, but you can not take a towel from the room to the beach, they offer towels for rent for $ 10 per week.
There is no bar on the beach.
A call was made into the sea, almost immediately deep, but the water is good and clean, there are almost no waves, because the city was in the bay
The city: there is almost nothing of entertainment, only coastal cafes and restaurants, you can walk around the embankment in 15 minutes. There is nowhere to walk, because the city is very small
You can take a water taxi to Marmaris, drive for about an hour, 300 liras per person one way, trips every hour, the last one from Marmaris to Turunch at 22.00, you can also take a taxi ~ 800 liras to Marmaris, and a bus 70 liras per person
If you are looking at hotels in Turunch, the locals recommend Turunch Premium.
The hotel is very good, in a beautiful place, clean, the food is good, but monotonous.
A big plus is the sea is nearby!
Minus- there are not enough umbrellas, a lot of broken ones.
