A good hotel, 4 rooms, the condition of the rooms is average, the service is also on the four. Only breakfast, but very diverse, branded Turkish fresh bread, rolls and lo and behold, not a single extra gram was brought
I accidentally bought a ticket to this hotel in August 2023, as there are two Palmea Hotels in the city. The travel agency that sold me a tour for 120,000 for one with departure from St. Petersburg promised "all inclusive", in fact it turned out that the hotel had recently switched to a breakfast-only system.
It was a shock, because I was counting on some kind of nutrition.
But the kind guide from the Anex Tour helped me change the money - rubles for lira, with a commission.
(By the way, it is impossible to change rubles anywhere in Turkey, I have not found any information.)
By the way, Anex Tour is not responsible for anything. Not for your meals, not for checking in, not for matching the rooms to the photos they use to sell the hotel, not for accidents on excursions. The guides are already on the bus intimidating people and talking all sorts of nonsense, so that only through them you can buy excursions, in fact you will go by boat with the same people who bought an excursion on the street for three times cheaper.
There are many Russian-speaking tour vendors on the boardwalk. We can bargain some more.
The room was completely different from the one in the photo. But a good one. Everything is fresh and clean.
Last year the hotel was called Dora BEACH and today Palmea, so there is a lot of confusion. The owners live right there in the hotel. They keep an eye on everything.
You can exchange dollars or euros for lira at the hotel itself. The course is more profitable than paying in dollars in institutions.
The staff were helpful, although there was only one night receptionist who spoke Russian.
The pool is tiny. Instead of the bar in the photo, there is now a mini football field.
On the beach, guests of the hotel can take sun beds for free, whoever managed to eat it. But you have to prove that you're from the hotel. Beach towels are provided for free so far. But also according to the system - whoever managed to figure it out.
There is no kettle and cups of coffee/tea, as promised. But I was exclusively allocated a teapot and a cup. Since I drink hot water an hour before breakfast. And herbal preparations.
However, there were remnants of dosirak in the kettle, I barely washed it, I spent almost an hour on it. Apparently, the lack of nutrition was a surprise for someone else.
It's very expensive and tasteless at the bar. I don't drink alcohol, but even the fresh orange juice was half diluted with water, all non-alcoholic cocktails are disgusting.
Only Turkish coffee is delicious, for 50 liras.
The breakfasts are primitive. Omelet, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce leaves, olives, spices, cheese, egg, boiled or omelet sometimes. Butter, jam, muesli. Coffee from the vending machine and Turkish tea. The bread is old and tasteless.
You can find something for yourself.
Meat cuts - soy. In general, Turkey has a big problem with meat. It is very expensive for some reason, even if you look at supermarkets.
Among the advantages is the best and free beach in Marmaris, there are few people in the sea. Nice staff. They keep an eye on the sun beds and your belongings. The WiFi is just great. Works in the rooms and on the beach. You can take a laptop and watch movies
Cleaning every day, they forget to report water periodically, but you can find a cleaner and ask, they will give you without problems.
The air conditioners are new. Everything is clean. There's a spare blanket and pillow in the closet. The hotel is small, only 60 rooms, quiet and peaceful, if the windows overlook the street, then the music ends in the bar at 00. There is car noise from the street, poor insulation from the balcony. But if you are used to living in a megalopolis, then OK. I wanted to take a break from the noise of the cars, but I couldn't. There are only 5 rooms facing the sea, these are large rooms with a Jacuzzi "for newlyweds". But it's not a fact that the sound insulation is good there, and the promenade is noisy, music, people.
In general, if you go for 80 thousand for a week, then OK. It makes no sense to be more expensive, since there are many interesting hotels in the area with meals for this money.
We stayed at the hotel in September. One of the advantages is that there is a beach nearby. The hotel itself is not bad, towels, room cleaning every day. But there is no food, the choice of dishes is very small, soy instead of meat, sometimes at lunch and dinner they gave chicken, fish, cheese, eggs, cereals for breakfast, only watermelons from fruits. In general, if you want to go hungry, then you should go to this hotel!!!
