Narmina is the daughter of Kamil Aliyev, a well—known artist in Azerbaijan and abroad, an honored artist and author of amazing portrait and not only carpets.
The house museum is small, cozy and created by Narmina's hands with great love, which it is impossible not to feel. Narmina seems to know everything about carpets. And he tells a very interesting story. I never thought that carpets could be read like a book, that carpets had their own canon. It seems to me that every guest of Baku and its residents should visit this museum and get to know its owner.
A private museum in the center of Baku. The wonderful Narmina, the hostess, will greet you warmly, tell you about the history of carpet creation, reveal the secrets of ornaments and their secret meanings, and introduce you to her famous father, the author of portrait carpets. And then he will definitely treat you to tea and oriental sweets, and during a friendly conversation he will answer all your questions and give you good advice.
I will come to this magical place again and again when I visit Baku. Thanks to Narmina khanim and Kamil Aliyev for the opportunity to visit and see the carpets of incredible beauty, grace and radiance! Special thanks for the delicious tea
