A curious museum. A pleasant guide talked about the composer's life. What was uncomfortable was the very limited time for a personal tour. It probably took about 20 minutes. A lot of kids come and it's an endless stream. In a small room, it was not possible to immerse yourself in Spendiarian's music. It's probably good that children are introduced to the national culture. But perhaps it would be good to allocate separate hours for individual excursions so that there are no overlaps. And it is not yet clear why it is forbidden to photograph historical exhibits even without a flash.
In general, it is an atmospheric place with excellent guides.
The most soulful museum in Yerevan. The guide is enthusiastic, knows a lot about the fate of the composer's relatives, talks about famous contemporaries of Spendiarov. It is always interesting to trace the connections between famous people and see how they influenced each other. Spendiarov is known in Russia mainly as the author of works for piano and violin, and his symphonic work remains in the shadows, meanwhile he is the founder of the Armenian national symphonic music.
