The House of Freemasons. It was built in 1783-89 by architect Giuseppe De Saco as a personal residence. Meetings of the Grodno Masonic Lodge were also held here. Among the famous Freemasons of that time, besides De Saco himself, were Jean Emmanuel Gilibert, Yakov and Jan Bekyu, Frantisek Narvoish, Jan de Virion. Since 1802, the building has been used by charitable societies. And under the Grodno governor M. Butavt-Andrzejkovichi, the Masons again held their meetings here. In Soviet times, there was an orphanage here, and then an anti-tuberculosis clinic. Now the building houses the Center of Pre-university Education of the Yanka Kupala State University. ps. We need to return the building to the mason!

An interesting place, well-maintained territory. A historic building that has changed its purpose over the years. Attracts the eye remains one of the examples of construction and architectural solutions of the past.

A quiet and beautiful place for thoughts and reflections. Maybe we should have done something more serious to figure out how to use historical sites. Although we also need to work seriously with pre-university training now.

of the cons: I was faced with the rudeness of the employees of this institution, accusing me of a situation with a bank that does not depend on me, as well as disrespect for those who are younger than some employees of the pros: a beautiful staircase to the second floor and a nice woman at the entrance who records you

A beautiful building. The basement is large, like a full-fledged floor, and at the top there is a large dome in the lobby. Repairs are actively underway now.

Just a poor house. Some kind of left-wing, incomprehensible services are sitting there.

An ordinary building, they did not immediately realize that it was a remarkable building.
