One of the most famous and visited architectural masterpieces of Barcelona is the Gaudi House!
It's always crowded here, and almost every day the queue of people who want to get into the building itself always stretches all the way down the street. And two years ago, a grandiose night light show took place on the building itself!!!
An incredible house rebuilt at the time by Gaudi. If you are interested in its history, then you can take a tour inside. In any case, take a photo against the background of the house.
One of the most shocking creations of Antonio Gaudi, known as the "House of Bones" is ideal for the eyes of a pensioner of the Russian Federation, because "it attracts attention with an incredible shape and a shocking combination of life-affirming motifs with gloomy attributes of death: the unusual shape of windows, balconies, from a distance similar to skulls, and columns resembling bones."
It is a pity that in the glorious city of Vladimir there is no such building ["With smoothly curving walls; with an amazing staircase, fenced with amazing glass, giving the effect of emerging from the water or diving into the water"] made in the style of pure modernism, where a ritual office would be located (sorry, according to Freud - a firm!) - I would have ordered the most important event for a pensioner during my lifetime...
Magnificent Spain!
Beautiful Barcelona!
And it has an amazing architectural structure: The Batlló House - Casa Batlló!
Its history begins at the end of the 19th century!
The house must be seen, the house must be touched with your hands, you need to get into the house on a tour!
I highly recommend it to everyone!
Of course, this is an object of architectural heritage of all times and peoples. Beautiful, pompous, interesting, unusual. You can walk through its corridors for hours.
Stunningly. The house is the ocean. With gently curving walls; with an amazing staircase, surrounded by amazing glass, giving the effect of emerging from the water or diving into the water. Ingenious architectural solutions, thoughtful little things down to the handles on the door. And a terrific ending. A circular panoramic show about diving into the world of Gaudi. And a very good audio guide. Helps to immerse yourself in the atmosphere
It's just a must see! Visit the website of the House of Baglio, choose the time of the visit and the program. There is a separate morning and evening visit with a concert and a glass of cava.
By booking an online visit time, avoid queues and negatives…
I came here especially for an excursion with my eldest daughter!!! I was satisfied! I used to just walk by and take pictures!!! If you have time, be sure to visit this unique house inside. There is a radio guide in Russian!!!!
I advise you to take not only a tour of the amazing Baglio house with an audio guide and augmented reality elements (which in itself is extremely unusual and interesting!), but also a ticket to Magic Night on Dragon Terrace – with a performance by a jazz singer and 2 glasses of cava per person – for 36 € for everything. Very impressive! Although an hour was allotted for the evening walking tour, the organizers started the queue at Casa Batllo with a long delay, and it was quite problematic to complete all 12 points of the "quest" in 45 minutes. At 21 o'clock, headphones and tablets were taken away according to the principle: whoever did not have time was late, go to the roof to listen to the singer and drink sparkling wine! However, this did not overshadow our magical evening at the magical house of Baglio
So much has been written about this house and place that it seems silly and vulgar to squeeze something out of yourself. One thing is obvious, being in Barcelona, it is impossible not to visit this place, even if you have been there many times.
Casa Batllo is one of the most shocking creations of Antonio Gaudi, known as the "House of Bones". The Baglio house attracts attention with its incredible shape and shocking combination of life-affirming motifs with gloomy attributes of death: the unusual shape of windows, balconies that look like skulls from afar, and columns resembling bones. The masterpiece of the ingenious architect was recognized as an Artistic monument of Barcelona in 1962, and seven years later as a monument of national importance. The Baglio House has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2005, and is the only work by the famous Spanish architect made in the style of pure modernism.
Some rooms were being renovated inside, and it was boring to look at the halls, where there were more visitors than an interesting interior. I didn't like it in the end, but rather because of the restoration work on the very facade (covered with fabric and scaffolding), the queue is small, but there are 2 of them: the ticket office and the entrance. And I didn't like the price either - 29 euros per adult in the place, but you can also pay 25 online and avoid queuing at the checkout. As a plus, access to the roof and an overview of the city
The most amazing place in Barcelona. In addition to the marvelous architecture of Gaudi, the organizers of the museum did their best. You are given not just an audio guide, but a smartphone with augmented reality, which allows you to see the whole situation as it was in Gaudi's time.
The house is gorgeous! Definitely worth a look. Tickets are cheaper to buy online. An audio guide is provided at the entrance, you can choose the Russian language.
It's being renovated. There's nothing to see, just scaffolding. There are not even any exhibits, there is nothing to do on the observation deck, since there is a reconstruction there. They give you an audio guide, but it's useless
