A very wonderful place to stay and relax. The rooms are cleaned every day. The staff is kind and friendly. A quiet and peaceful place. There is a cafe with delicious food on site. We rested with our family for 10 days from 07/15/25/2024. We plan to return here for a vacation not for the last time. Big greetings to Arthur, the owner of the Wonderful Garden.

We rested in another place, but we came to the cafe here. I liked the kitchen, the price-quality ratio. The prices are low!
The big plus for me was that I could take the order with me. Often the tables are occupied, it is too hot to sit on the terrace, and the room is also stuffy. Apparently, light outages affect the operation of the air conditioner. At the same time, I could go for food myself, without dragging the child around in the heat. I brought food to my place, warmed it up at home if necessary, and we had lunch or dinner comfortably under the air conditioner.
The child asked for noodle soup every day, and I really appreciated borscht and hashlama. Delicious! Thanks

I Had A Rest In This Place about seven years ago...I rented an expensive room, everything was comfortable...It's close to New Athos...the food is delicious...time has passed a lot since that moment...I hardly think I'm going to Abkhazia...but I recommend this place in General!Thanks!!!!

We rested in the Marvelous Garden in early July 2022. A great option for those who need a relaxing family vacation. We had a rest in July 2022, ate in the cafe of the Marvelous Garden. The food is always freshly prepared, delicious, and the portions are large. I especially wanted to mention the stunningly delicious khachapuri boat! We tried khachapuri in other places of Abkhazia, but there was no tastier! The staff is helpful, friendly, and courteous.Beautiful views from the cafe's outdoor veranda to the mountains and garden, cleanliness and comfort! We definitely recommend everyone to visit the cafe in the Wonderful Garden!

in short, you won't like it.
the rooms are ordinary for Abkhazia, but it stinks of sewage, because there is no central sewerage (this is not even a village, it's just a land grab with the arrangement of premises for rent to visitors). The way to the beach is via the railway, as it is almost everywhere in Abkhazia. the beach is 150 meters away. there is nothing on the beach, no umbrellas, no sunbeds, no sellers of anything. I was surprised, but there is not a single dining room within a radius of 500 meters where they normally serve delicious food. They were able to spoil even the chicken. If you are thinking of buying a GOOD local wine, or at least an acceptable one, then forget it. No one will sell you wine of the "for yourself" category, you need to earn the "for friends" category, and it's better not to take the "for sale" category. Do you want to go to Abkhazia? Look for another place.

A great place in terms of price-quality ratio. The room has everything you need - refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer. An iron, a typewriter and a kettle are in the hallway. Clean, the maid cleans every day. There is a cafe on site, always delicious food and polite staff. I especially recommend dishes from the grill from the owner, homemade wine and compotes. There is parking, and an area with fruit trees.

We had a rest with children, lived in a one-room house for almost 2 weeks. In order. The extremely unfortunate location of the guest house is 50 m to the highway and 50 m to the railway, respectively, there is nowhere to walk. To get to the city for a walk - 50 rubles by minibus (they go extremely rarely, buses are even rarer), 300 rubles by taxi (4 minutes drive). About 4 km on foot, in theory it is possible, but on the highway. If you don't have a car, but you like to walk, then there's just nowhere to go. There is a wonderful garden on the territory, but it is in the parking area at the entrance, no one (even children) there is no walking or frolicking on the grass, as one might assume.
In one of the neighboring guest houses, very often noisy companies shake the space late into the night with very loud music and irrepressible fun. If you dream of sleeping with the windows open (although closed windows also do not save), then take earplugs. It is not accepted to come up and ask after 23 not to make noise - they have paid for the rest, they can rest as they want. On the territory of the marvelous garden, too, no one bothers not to disturb other vacationers. The owners themselves live in the building, which is probably why companies of young people prefer to hang out on the playground near the houses until night (loud conversations, mat, guffaw, additionally glass doors and windows without curtains in the houses - respectively, until the lighting is turned off on the site, then the house is as bright as day. The hosts do not regulate or limit the behavior of their guests in any way.
Cleaning is one name. They take out the trash and wipe the floor every day. That's all. Bed linen is changed every 5 days, towels are changed every 3 days, in fact they are hammered on towels until you ask yourself. The maid does not wipe the dust, nor does the plumbing (she said that this was not part of her duties). But he complains in every possible way that after the guests in the houses it is difficult to remove mold in the shower. Of course - in one-room houses there is no ventilation window in the shower, accordingly, the water on the floor does not have time to dry out, and in 2 weeks without cleaning it grows before our eyes. In the building, the neighbors said, the situation is better, it has time to dry up a little.
Food - very few successful dishes. Homemade dumplings are frankly inedible, the pizza is terrible, baked trout is the most tasteless that I ate (rather like boiled), side dishes, sausages, fried eggs are ordinary, dumplings are edible. About barbecue days - good vegetables on the grill, I didn't like the pork kebab - it was bland and hard. We thought it would be better in the neighboring tangerine (the owners are the same), but no, it is just as inedible (namely shish kebab).
The cafe opens at 9, but on the first day we were asked to come no earlier than 9.30, because the staff cleans up and puts things in order before 9.30. Also, at the very first breakfast, after the scrambled eggs were brought, the child asked for bread - they looked at him sternly and asked him to order everything together next time.
Fortunately, there is a dining room 30 meters away, which is open from 8.00, prices are 20 percent cheaper, the staff is more friendly. We just need to walk around with a tray ourselves.
There is no infrastructure around. There are 2 shops on the highway (sweets, bread and pastries, drinks, some basic products) and a shop with household chemicals. Fruits are available every other time (although when booking, I asked if there are places nearby where you can buy fruits and vegetables) and most often in a very tired state, that is, actually not. Taxi to the market 200 rubles one way. We were very pleased with the quality of the products on the market.
The sea is the biggest disappointment. Breakwaters-bumpers every 20-30 m, no room for viewing the sea surface, the sea is very dirty (branches, leaves and other organic debris would be fine, but I have not seen so many bottles, bags, and other chemical debris in any place before). The beach is also dirty, only conscious vacationers clean it. There are several stray dogs living on the beach.
The conclusion we personally have is this. If this was the first trip to Abkhazia, I would not want to return anymore. Fortunately, we know that there are cleaner, friendlier and more hospitable places in Abkhazia, with a better location and a more developed infrastructure.

We stayed in December, rented a 2-room room. There was no one else, the cafe was not working, so I can't say anything about the food.
The room itself is clean, new, wooden. The room has a refrigerator, TV, kettle. The heating is split systems, the floor is quite cold, take slippers.
There is a kitchen and tables with benches outside. The sea is nearby.
We didn't swim in December, but the view of the tangerine trees, of which the garden is full, is completely mesmerizing.
From the window you can see the sunset and dawn over the sea.
It is easy to get to Sukhum, even to New Athos. It is necessary to go out on the highway and wait for a minibus, they often go to New Athos 50 rubles, to Sukhum 150 rubles.
We liked the sensitive and polite hostess.

We are going to have a rest in Abkhazia for the first time. I was completely disoriented, because I had never been there. I chose to book purely from photographs. The Marvelous Garden is the only place that I liked in the photo. The rooms were well renovated, so I booked a room. But then our line-up changed, and my eldest daughter was going to go with me. I wrote to Tatiana, the hostess of the guest house, and she offered us a two-room house, which was still under construction)
I also asked to arrange a private transfer for us, because we had an overnight flight. A wonderful Uncle Rafik came to meet us, who told us everything at the border, and delivered us to our destination)
We were the first to enter the house itself, no one had lived in it before us. The house is cozy, wonderful) Each room has air conditioning. Tatiana and Arthur turned out to be wonderful, hospitable people. I immediately had the feeling that I had come to visit old friends. They have three wonderful daughters. The middle one - Tutushik (Ani) conquered our whole family)
My youngest daughter enjoyed playing with them. There is a cafe on the territory of the guest house, everything is very tasty (we have almost tried everything), the prices are adequate. Tanya also constantly treated us to all sorts of goodies, such as homemade eggs, pancakes. Arthur makes a very tasty homemade wine (I'm very indifferent to alcohol, but this is actually an insanely delicious wine). And Arthur also organizes barbecue evenings, where he personally cooks fish, barbecue, vegetables on the grill. And all this is insanely, insanely delicious. I have never eaten such fish anywhere else)
The sea is close, we went to the right under the eucalyptus trees, because we do not like to sunbathe directly under the sun, but we really liked the eucalyptus trees, and besides, the smell in the air from the eucalyptus is indescribable.
When it was time to leave, I didn't want to part with such a wonderful place and such wonderful people at all and it was very sad.
I can say for sure that I really want to come back here for a longer period)

The Marvelous Garden is one of the best guest houses in Abkhazia and the suburbs of New Athos. It's very cozy. The most hospitable hosts. I also want to mention the cafe. The cook is super! The best dish is meat in Abkhazian. I haven't eaten anything better in all of Apsny.

A magnificent hotel and cafe. If you are looking for a holiday or kitchen option in New Athos, then you can safely choose this option. The hotel is located a little away from the road among the trees and close to the sea, about 500 meters. The rooms are clean, the furniture and repairs are not new, but in good condition. The staff is polite and friendly. In general, the atmosphere in the hotel is very friendly. Also, I liked the cuisine, the prices are reasonable, closer to the budget level, but the dishes are delicious and fresh, they are prepared quickly. Breakfasts and lunches on the outdoor veranda overlooking the trees and mountains are an unforgettable pleasure. Of the breakfasts, cottage cheese casserole is mandatory to purchase.

A wonderful place! It's not the first time we've rested there, and when we leave, we want to come back again! The best place for a quiet holiday. There is a cozy cafe literally within walking distance from the rooms. Insanely delicious food for any choice, friendly staff. It's not far to the sea. The rooms are clean. The hosts Arthur and Tatiana are just amazing people! Hospitable, helpful, pleasant in all respects! I am sure that we will go to this truly Wonderful Garden more than once!!
