We just returned from a trip to Sukhum. We stayed at the hotel for 11 days. Everything was wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. It will always help. I didn't like the pillows, they were too thin, I told the reception about it-they brought another one, I slept great. At some point, the TV went off, the girl came and set everything up.
About the room: the beds are comfortable, there is a table/chairs, refrigerator, cups/saucers/corkscrew, kettle, large wardrobe with hangers, slippers/bathrobes, bathroom accessories, hairdryer, satellite TV with Russian channels. The cleaning is excellent, towels are changed every day. Bed linen is provided about once every 5 days. The maids politely refuse to take tips, which surprised me))
It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the beach. To the market as well.
The hotel has a chic restaurant where breakfast is served every morning. Always delicious and varied. I'm attaching a photo. We also often went to a restaurant for lunch or dinner, because it was very convenient and, again, delicious. I especially liked the pasta carbonara and chicken kebab😻 I would like to say a special thank you to the sweetest waiter girls Lana and Nata❤I also thank the beautiful receptionist girl, I don't know her name, unfortunately. Girls will always tell you, help not only with the choice, but in general with any problem that arises. They always say hello even outside the restaurant.
In general, the vacation was wonderful🥰
My mini-wishes for the hotel and restaurant:
1. it would be great to change the hair dryers, because they are just doll-like and with my long hair I had to dry for a very long time.
2. In the restaurant, I would like to see coffee with alternative milk, and not just regular. Also, the grill was often turned off in the restaurant in the evenings, you either had to wait a long time or order something else. One more thing- it would be cool if all the restaurant staff reached the level of friendliness and competence of the girls I listed above. There were small problems with this)

A wonderful hotel. It's beautiful, clean, and cozy. Delicious breakfasts, beautiful serving. The boys also make wonderful coffee.
Snow-white linen, bathrobes and towels. I always wonder how and how all this is erased in order to preserve such whiteness.
Very polite and friendly guys and girls at the reception.
In general, I liked everything. We are very satisfied.

I liked the hotel. Everything is clean. Towels are changed every day. The bed is also often changed. 10 minutes walk to the sea. But I didn't really like the breakfasts in the restaurant. We took a tour for 15 days and every day we were given sausage, fried eggs and tomatoes with cucumbers. Porridge is different every day - this is a plus. There was no cottage cheese or fruit. But the coffee is disgusting. Instant coffee is poured for Pele . No one has been drinking it for a long time . Coffee beans are served in all hotels. In Abkhazia, the locals drink Turkish coffee, and they pour Pele for us. For 500 rubles, you can also improve your diet

I decided to write because I want to thank the hotel, the staff for the quiet and clean rooms. They cleaned every day, were interested in the comfort of living. The rooms are quiet, spacious enough, comfortable mattress, high-quality textiles (towels, linen). There are no foreign odors in the room, the water is at a comfortable temperature, there is nothing that could spoil your rest. Thank you so much, all the hotels that I have seen in the city are not comparable. I definitely recommend it, there is nothing to find fault with. When booking, I advise you to buy breakfast. Every day there is a different and always delicious assortment. Not a buffet, but the set is fine. Something like this: tea / coffee, porridge, butter /cheese/bacon sandwiches, scrambled eggs / fried eggs, vegetables, cheesecakes - and it's all served on one plate at once in portions. The room is spacious, there is an extra place for a child - the cot sags to the floor. There are not enough cosmetic kits to wash and brush your teeth. There are slippers and bathrobes. Water, tea.
The water in the shower is a separate topic - it switches from cold to boiling water by itself. Our screams could be heard from the shower in turn. Not everything was successful in the restaurant: pasta is normal, noodle soup is not, coffee is delicious, wine is diluted with water.

Stayed for one night, the hotel is nice, the room is large, clean enough. 2 bottles of water were waiting for us in the room - it's very nice! There were bathrobes in the room, though with holes under the sleeve.. The location of the hotel is also good in the city center, not far from the embankment, we walked. The breakfast is comprehensive, sufficient, the restaurant has responsive staff at breakfast. I take one star for the attitude of the receptionist at the reception, absolute inhospitality and inattentive attitude to guests. We had to ask questions 2 times, and still could not get clear answers, she was distracted from us by foreign objects all the time, forgetting about our question. We continued to stand and wait for the answer. And the answer was "Why are you looking at me?" Well, it's obvious that we are waiting for an answer to our question! Such an attitude towards guests is not acceptable!

Convenient location, close to the sea, and walking in the city. The reception staff is a little tense. Sometimes you need to specify breakfast (when you turn on the payment, you can forget about it). A great outdoor terrace, it's nice to sit with business partners in the evening, discuss business. Very courteous waitresses at the bar, it was very pleasant. Condees are working. The ironer is on the floor. Overall, a great experience for 4.

The hotel is located in the city center. 7 minutes walk from the embankment and the market, 15 minutes from Brekhalovka. Restaurant: the quality of the dishes is above all praise, the waiters depend on the shift. Numbers: well... such... spacious, but the advantages end there... carpet is just tin! Terribly dirty! It has not been cleaned since the time of the King of Peas... robes of a strange quality... it seems that they were sewn from pieces of old ones... The shower doors do not close well, and they do not consider it necessary to remove the hair... But as I understand it, such quality of hotels is the norm in Abkhazia...

I had a vacation in September 2024. Overall, the reviews are positive, but a planned replacement of some parts in the rooms is required - we had a battered and sagging mattress on the bed - it was uncomfortable sleeping on the back and the TV needed to fix the lamps (preferably replacing the TV itself). There was always water, light, Internet, towels were changed daily, linen was changed regularly. The staff is polite, the restaurant is not bad. I recommend.

We spent one night with the whole family at the Dioscuria Hotel at the end of October 2023. What can I say, the location is good, everything is nearby, there is its own Parking for cars in the yard. The breakfast is hearty and delicious. All of the advantages. The room has very dirty carpet and furniture. Dry cleaning, apparently, has never been carried out. The noise from the road is as if from an open window. No sockets, dust and other charms. Dirty robe in the closet. The first of the 4 was deployed, they didn't even look at the rest. I attach a photo, you can see everything with your own eyes. I do not understand such enthusiastic reviews about this hotel. We might have turned a blind eye to this if the cost of living was two times less, and not 6000 rubles per night in off-season. But fall for the good reviews about this hotel. The price does not match the quality.

The building was built in the 60s, hotel type. Clean, comfortable in the corridors, rooms. Friendly, diligent staff. We checked in quickly, there is Wi-Fi. There is an embankment nearby. We walked, there were a lot of cafes. I recommend the Narta restaurant. Delicious is not expensive.

In general, the hotel is ordinary for Abkhazia. But there was an unpleasant incident with the armor. We booked 2 rooms and wrote to the hotel in advance (2 months in advance) that the location on the same floor was important to us. We were assured that this is not a problem and we can be sure that the rooms will be nearby.
As a result, when checking in, they said that they had failed and there would be different floors. There were smiles and vague apologies for our refund, the hotel staff did not offer anything. After I saw for myself that there were rooms available on the floor, I asked why we couldn't live there, it turned out that this room was a little better (500 rubles more expensive). We paid extra and lived nearby.
Why we were not immediately offered this remains a mystery. Well, in general, the hotel could admit its mistake and put us next door without any additional charges. But it's not about them.…

We stopped on the way for a day. Standard room for 3400. Nice hotel, 7 minutes walk to the embankment. the room has everything you need, including a kettle and a hairdryer. The rooms are clean, the renovation is not fresh of course, but for us the main thing is cleanliness. The hotel has its own internal free parking. The room rate includes a decent breakfast (porridge, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, tea/coffee). The staff is very nice, I liked the receptionist who settled us and the waiter girl, very polite. I liked the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in an improved standard: a spacious room, a huge bed, cleaning and changing towels every day, there are bathrobes, but no slippers. Excellent breakfasts included in the price! The only drawback: the hotel is located on the corner of 2 streets, i.e. the Windows overlook the roads. In our room, the window faced a very noisy street, you can't open the window at night, use only the air conditioner.

I would like to thank the staff of the hotel Dioskuria 3* Sukhum, Ardzinba 83, for a great stay, check-in 05/14.23 check-out 05/24.23 room 308. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, changing towels every day, cleaning the room every other day, linen was changed three times in 10 days, shampoo, gel were replenished every day, a steam iron and ironing board on each floor, which pleasantly surprised. Special thanks to the restaurant staff, waiters Roman and Svetlana for their excellent knowledge of their business, and kindness. Thank you very much to the cook for the incomparable trout on the grill, and the royal fish soup. The breakfasts are great, very tasty and satisfying like at home. A good quality hotel. Clean rooms, very friendly staff. The admin girls are just wonderful. Delicious breakfasts in the restaurant are different every day, very hearty, oriental coffee. Towels and cosmetic kits are replaced every day. Bed linen is provided once every three days. Light cotton bedspreads were provided upon request. In general, the textiles in the room are good, white, fresh, new. The bed is large with a comfortable mattress and pillows. Normal human pillows, nice and comfortable. The hotel has 3 floors, there is no elevator, the marble staircase is quite steep - for the young and dexterous it is not a problem, for the older generation it is worth bearing in mind. The government house is visible from the room window. The location is the center. There is a parking lot outside the gate. Excursions can be ordered at the reception desk, and there are some that are not available in street stalls with excursions. The restaurant is also not bad in general, a cozy summer house, coffee to drink, delicious food - and traditional cuisine is also delicious. We can safely recommend it - it is clear that the guests are treated carefully and the service is above average in this price category.

We stayed at the hotel in early June 2023 for 4 nights. We booked a family room for three adults. The room has one double bed and two single beds with very comfortable mattresses. I slept just fine on them. The room is very spacious. You can fit two more beds. Cleaning is daily, towels are changed every day too. On the ground floor there is a very cozy restaurant where breakfast is served, which is included in the room rate. (The breakfasts are varied and hearty).I would like to mention the professional work of the waiters. Just well done. You can also have lunch or dinner at the restaurant. There is its own enclosed parking lot in the backyard. The hotel is very conveniently located in the very center. There are parks, theaters and shops nearby. It is a 5-minute walk to the sea, but it is worth considering that there is no beach in this place. But we didn't need it, because we had a purely sightseeing trip around Sukhum and the surrounding area. The only drawback is the windows in the hotel. Since the hotel is located on a very busy avenue, you definitely need windows with good sound insulation. The hum of cars is very audible, even with the windows closed. But in general, everything is fine. I recommend the hotel.

Quite a good place in terms of price/quality ratio.
The food is not bad, the center of Sukhum, for young people everything is within walking distance.
However, if you are elderly people, then in terms of beach holidays - it's a long walk to the sea.
Of the minuses, perhaps the only significant one that I met (in 3 rooms, for sure) these are loosely fitting windows and it's not about adjustment. Apparently, the double-glazed windows were installed by one organization, which has craftsmen with hands from... One or two sides of the opening of each window are missing (or do not match) retainers. Therefore, when the window closes, it does not press tightly from any of the sides, so much so that you can put your finger outside. Considering that the hotel is located on the corner of an intersection, and the driving culture in Abkhazia is "Whoever is louder is right", even sleeping in earplugs will not be very comfortable.

We had a rest at the end of May 2023, a standard room with a balcony.The room is clean, cleaning every day, bathroom with shower and hairdryer,TV, refrigerator, wardrobe with mirror, table,double bed.Everything is in excellent condition, and it works, we went down to the first floor for breakfast, to the restaurant, not a buffet, but you will not be hungry.Very convenient location, the center of Sukhum, getting to the embankment is close, there is a bus stop nearby - you can go to Mocha beach or the Lighthouse, the market and shops are within walking distance.We were satisfied with everything, thanks a lot to the hotel staff for their care and attention.We will definitely come back to you!

Excellent location - close to the beach and the promenade, to the Botanical Garden. There are parks nearby for walking. There are many different cafes nearby.
Excellent breakfasts are delicious and satisfying. There were four days, every day the breakfasts were different.

The room is large, with a huge bed. It seems to me that the mattress should be more rigid, but this is a matter of taste :)
We cleaned every day! They changed towels, did wet cleaning, brought new shampoos, toilet paper.

We rested from September 17 to September 11. We checked in at 12, when ready, we did not insist on early check-in, we were ready to wait. There is some kind of early check-in option for money, if necessary. I want to note that they responded to requests, you can contact them, they are trying to help. Then they moved to another place.... there is a difference. The room is superior, generally satisfied. Of what can be improved is the arrangement of furniture, for example, the kettle does not reach the outlet, I put it on the floor. It's not difficult for me, but... Still, there would be hooks and a shelf for shoes at the entrance, it would be good. This is not about flaws, but about what can be improved.

A very nice hotel. Unfortunately, I had to stay there less than the planned time. Wonderful people work there. Nice rooms. The room had air conditioning, refrigerator, TV. We lived on the 3rd floor, the Windows overlooked the intersection, but it was not noisy. There is a private parking in the courtyard. Great location. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the embankment slowly. The restaurant has delicious food with adequate prices and good service. The breakfasts are there, delicious, but unrealistically much. The breakfasts are not bad, but everything was ruined by the complete lack of WiFi and there was no reaction to our complaints from the manager and administrators, we were told that these are your phones ((( i.e. even on the beach we had excellent WiFi, in shops, cafes, restaurants, everywhere. This attitude is very upsetting ((( we booked for 10 days, planned to stay longer, but had to move to another hotel.

Dusty bed linen, unwashed marks on the towels. Hot water should be waited for 2-3 minutes until the icy one passes. The breakfasts are good! Take it. Satisfying and delicious. No frills. The best place in Abkhazia, excellent service, but unfortunately for a long time. The cook is above all praise, we took pasta with seafood, roast, caesar with chicken and shrimp, everything is just 5+! On the second day, also take a burger and cheese sticks, the level of a good restaurant in Moscow. The prices are reasonable, for some dishes the prices are the same as in the cafe on the beach at Ashot. Masthave is their homemade lemonade, we have never tasted such delicious! And the price is only 100 rubles per liter. We lived in this hotel, the breakfasts are simply magical, made of good quality products, complex, 1 day there was porridge, 2 pancakes, sour cream, omelet with vegetables, 2 slices of bread, cheese, butter, tea or coffee to choose from. They ate too much from the belly. On the second day there was porridge, the most delicate cheesecakes, 2 real sausages (and not made of paper, as in all boarding houses in Abkhazia), 2 pieces of sausage, 2 pieces of bread, tea, coffee. I recommend it!
