Big and interesting market very close to the railway station. You can find fresh fruit and vegetables, live fish, honey, wine... and there is a department for shoes, that as you can see from the picture, has a huge selection. You might find a bigger selection for clothes in the underground passage to the station.

The deserter market in Tbilisi is a real storehouse of Georgian delicacies. Churchkhela and spices here are just a godsend for gourmets.
I was especially pleased to meet a hospitable Russian spice saleswoman – She knows all the recipes of dishes perfectly and fantastically selects a mix of spices.
The range of products is impressive – from fresh fruit to souvenirs, you can find everything your heart desires. There is a wholesale part where you can buy fruit in boxes.
Parking is a weak link, there are few places, it is better to take the subway.

парковка вокруг платная, 1 лари, но, как говорят местные, машины с российскими номерами не штрафуют. порадовали цены на фрукты-овощи. в целом, цены ниже чем других регионах, но ОГРОМНЫЙ минус - каждая торговка стремится обмануть как сможет. помидоры подсунули с гнильцой, сверху положили хорошие, а в середине сетки - с чернотой. в другой раз торговка инжиром зазывала, предложила инжир попробовать, а взвешивает на электронных весах, недовесила 150 гр. с 1 кг. и говорит : " вы на 150 гр. до этого попробовали". есесно, 1 инжирка не может весить 150 гр., даже далеко не 50 гр. ))) торговка была мысленно послана на... через 5 минут возвращаемся к машине, опять пристаёт с предложением попробовать и скидками... ещё не проверили фундук, но терзают смутные сомнения...

Очень понравился рынок. Рекомендую однозначно. Впечатляет изобилие фруктов и овощей. Здесь можно купить вино и сыр. Особенно рекомендую вино у Зазы, хочу сказать, что это высочайшее качество продукции. Кто понимает толк в сухом вине, тот оценит однозначно

В округе рынка дофига точек с вещами, домашней утварью и цены конечно же дешевле чем в других местах.

Если интересна история такого названия, погуглите)). А что по поводу рынка- шикарно)). Была в разное время года, всегда изобилие всего. Ну может только перед Рождеством больше молочных поросят. Но это не дешевый рынок, местные на него особо не ходят.

Огромное изобилие овощей, фруктов мясных продуктов. Конечно цены удивили всё сейчас подорожало. Продавцы относятся доброжелательно Ставлю четыре звёзды за подорожание цен. Если хотите не дорогие цены это надо ехать на самгорский рынок
