Big and interesting market very close to the railway station. You can find fresh fruit and vegetables, live fish, honey, wine... and there is a department for shoes, that as you can see from the picture, has a huge selection. You might find a bigger selection for clothes in the underground passage to the station.
A whole world of everything. The most delicious, beautiful, fresh, cheap vegetables, fruits, herbs, cheese and much more. Lots of shops with everything you can think of. Clothes, mattresses, curtains, electronics, spices, meat, dishes, suitcases. There are many high-quality fakes at surprisingly low prices.
A large market, low prices, a huge assortment!!! You can find a lot of interesting things and a lot of things you need. Even just walking is very interesting. If you will be in Tbilisi, be sure to visit it
The deserter market in Tbilisi is a real storehouse of Georgian delicacies. Churchkhela and spices here are just a godsend for gourmets.
I was especially pleased to meet a hospitable Russian spice saleswoman – She knows all the recipes of dishes perfectly and fantastically selects a mix of spices.
The range of products is impressive – from fresh fruit to souvenirs, you can find everything your heart desires. There is a wholesale part where you can buy fruit in boxes.
Parking is a weak link, there are few places, it is better to take the subway.
A nice small market. You can find a lot of different souvenirs at a low price. The sellers are friendly, they do not impose anything. I will definitely visit this market on my next trip.
I really liked the market. A little untidy, chaotic, incredibly colorful. Sellers are sincere. There are places where residents sell their products. Admired everyone.
It's just Georgian "classics" and flavor. Who has been in Tbilisi for more or less a long time, I think he was there and appreciated all the pros and cons. I will not write about the disadvantages, this is really a colorful place for me)
A huge market with pavilions both outdoors and indoors. Here you can find things, shoes, fruits, vegetables, herbs and much more.... For connoisseurs of St. Petersburg, the market may remind the famous Aprashka)))
The Deserter market did not impress us. It is difficult to navigate in a room with clothes, as in a maze, it is dangerous to walk in a grocery store, narrow paths, passing cars, an unpleasant smell and dirt...
The most gorgeous place. Everything is there. Friendly people, bright colors and flavors, fresh food. A huge selection of vegetables, fruits, fish and meat
Have been to this market! It 's huge ! Vegetables and fruits are plentiful, but the best of this market is homemade WINE and CHACHA!!!! Here and right here you need to buy real wine and chacha, what's in the bottles, it's not worth it next. And what thin-skinned walnuts!, not to convey everything you need to see and try! I recommend everyone who travels in Georgia to visit, not to return sober from there! Georgians, thank you for your warm hospitality!
They stopped at the market to buy cheese, fruits and vegetables - they were already going to go home. We bought everything - fresh suluguni, Kakheti watermelons, melons, peaches. And of course great tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers. Everything is of good quality, upon arrival everything was eaten with pleasure. But the market itself is a bit awkward, you need to look for where what is for sale.

The best market in the city. We've been to all of them, but I liked this one the most. More order in the rows, less clutter in the aisles. The choice is large, the sellers are polite. It is very large, we have traveled here several times, it even stretches across the streets. I recommend that you definitely visit here, slowly, in search of cool souvenirs. By the way, they are not expensive here! 0.5 chacha in a beautiful clay vessel can be bought for 15 lari, 1 liter wine is also in a beautiful vessel for 20 lari, all sorts of magnets for 2-3 lari
I can't say anything bad, I went with the locals, so they didn't cheat or cheat. The market is normal in terms of choice, but completely disorganized, unkempt, greetings from the 90s. Yes, as they wrote, this is the true non-tourist Georgia without embellishment. By the way, prices are higher than Krasnodar prices (but they have generally soared in Georgia over the past two years, it is clear why). Before that, the products were cheaper than ours.
I dreamed of going to the Deserter Market with its interesting history. But no emotions happened. A simple bazaar, of which there are many, a little dirty. There were expectations to see an eastern, southern market/bazaar with an authentic character. No, it didn't happen. There was a desire to leave faster.
It is convenient to get there because there is a metro nearby, we bought delicious spices, black tea, honey and homemade cheese, the sellers are friendly.
Fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, spices, homemade alcohol and of course churchkhela. Churchkhela can be a little old (it's better not to take a lot without a sample)
A huge market where you will find everything your heart desires, and the staff is generally a separate topic, friendly, good-natured treated more than once without taking a penny🤙
In my opinion, this is one of the must-see attractions of Tbilisi. I write, of course, from the point of view of a tourist. And you definitely need to buy spices - very fresh and very fragrant (you need to pack them in several bags, otherwise the whole suitcase will smell))
Good grocery market, fruits/vegetables/nuts
The prices are adequate, but always keep an eye on how and at what price you are weighed.
You type it yourself
Go to the 3rd floor of the pavilion, there are not many tents, but the man who sells cheeses will give everything a try. He will tell you how to eat correctly and with what. You can also buy fruits and delicious churchkhela here and be sure to try the dried persimmon, I tried it 10 years ago now I always bring it home wherever it happens
The tent market is more for locals, so it's cheaper to buy vegetables. We bought peaches, we were not given a choice, the seller put the unripe ones. They sell chacha, wine of unknown origin, somehow suspiciously too cheap.
In general, the market did not impress us at all ..., dirty, stuffy, everything is old, in need of repair for a long time... we expected something grandiose, colorful, reflecting Georgia, but it did not happen...
If you remember the markets in the 90s, then this is it. With its own atmosphere. Minus stars due to the fact that almost all the spices that are on the street are open, they contain dust, dog hair, etc. I couldn 't buy anything .
The variety of everything is amazing, from spices, vegetables, herbs, fruits to various chacha. Tip, first go through the market, get a price, bargain, then buy)
Beautiful flavor of the Georgian market. We bought churchkhels and spices. Everything is very tasty, they give you a taste without any problems, so you can go there hungry and leave well-fed)))
The market , both clothing and grocery, bazaar, so-so, usually, there is no civilization, like a small flea market from the 90s, I did not like it, prices may be cheaper for some products than supermarkets, there is no delight....
T
I really liked the products. I strongly advise you to visit everything natural and very tasty. The cheeses are very tasty, especially smoked suluguni, now my favorite.
The problem is to drive up by car. Traffic jams. We need to look for a place in the parking lot. It's dirty. Chaos. It's a color for some people, but not for us.
A large selection of vegetables, fruits, fish, meat! There are a lot of things! There is parking! Everything is fashionable to buy from products, in one place
It is absolutely necessary to come here for vegetables and fruits, churchkhela, etc. it is cheaper, a huge choice than in Tbilisi. You definitely won't leave empty-handed. Cash only. Who knows how to bargain, he was lucky to buy the goods even cheaper.
Of the minuses: a lot of people, noisy and dirty.
