I really love this tower. You can look at it from the shore (it is very close), you can swim to it by boat, wander around this island, enjoy the views, climb to the top, take beautiful photos. The format of the restaurant changes from year to year, then a full-fledged institution, then a small coffee shop, but it is worth visiting anyway, especially at sunset.
A beautiful lighthouse that is perfectly visible from the Asian part of Istanbul, which can be reached by ferry. For real romantics, there is currently a small restaurant inside.
One of the sights of Istanbul. You can get there by ferry. In front of the tower there is a square and benches to sit and enjoy the view.
For me, visiting the tower became a one-time action: I saw and forgot.
a historical place in Istanbul called the Maiden Tower, built many years ago, a beautiful landmark and the pride of Istanbul with the coast and all modern buildings and at the same time connected with history and ancient mythology, I advise friends to have a good cozy evening
The Maiden Tower in Istanbul is an amazing structure that towers over the waters of the Bosphorus. Built in the IV century, it served as a lighthouse, quarantine station, restaurant and even a prison. Today it is a cultural center where exhibitions, photo galleries and a restaurant are held. The tower is located in the Uskyudar area, and it can be reached by ferry from the Salacak pier. The cost of travel and visiting the tower is 40 Turkish lira. Ferries run from 12:00 to 0:00 every 15 minutes.Inside the tower there is a restaurant and a gift shop. There is an observation deck at the top, offering stunning views of the Asian part of Istanbul and the Bosphorus Strait. It is especially interesting to visit the Maiden Tower in the evening, when the light mechanism of the lighthouse turns on. It emits white and red flashes every three seconds, which creates a unique atmosphere.Overall, a visit to the Maiden Tower is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Istanbul and learn more about the history of this amazing city.
In November, they wanted to climb the famous tower, but it was under repair. We hope there will be such an opportunity in the future...as it is, Istanbul is a city where everyone should visit, and of course you can't see everything here at one time
Visited in November 2023 according to the Museum Pass card - a ticket of 50 liras. Without a card 600 lire!!You can buy a ticket at the ticket office opposite the attraction itself in the Asian part of the city (Uskyudar district). The ticket price includes delivery to the island and back, as well as a visit to the Maiden Tower itself. The queue for the location is moderate, 15 minutes. From the tower there are beautiful views of the beautiful Istanbul. There is a coffee shop on the island, the prices are average.
An interesting place located in the middle of the strait , you can pass by on ferries , cheap and angry , but it's worth it , the price of the ferry is +- 70 rubles
The tower is like a tower. The legend is interesting
