This is my daughter's second camp (she is 9 years old), last year there was an adaptation in another camp and for the first 3-4 days I was bored in the evenings. Then everything was great!
This year, the adaptation did not happen at the Dream camp. My child is very tactile and kind.
She cried her eyes out in the evenings! She asked to be taken away. The reason has not been found out. It seems that the boy in the squad called names (but I'm sure that's not the reason).
Based on the current situation, after my daughter's next tears, I decided to write a telegram to the camp PSYCHOLOGIST in the hope that she would help (in the telegram channel, counselors and a psychologist send photos of classes with children from their pages) I didn't know her first name and patronymic, there was only her first name in the telegram. I wrote a message at 21.58. I described the situation, asked to pay a little more attention to my daughter. She replied to me at 11.32 the next day (before telling the administration that I wrote to her at 12 a.m. and violated her personal boundaries): "Good afternoon, My name is my MIDDLE NAME. Tell me, please, who gave you my phone number?"
I think this is not the right approach.
The camp management should think about the professionalism of this specialist.
It was purely humanly possible not to ignore the request of the rolitel. After all, I was the only one who wrote to her, not all the parents of the camp.
This means that the specialist is not interested in making the children feel comfortable in the camp.
And the psychologist came to the camp with her little daughter. Was it possible?
In general, the review about the camp is good. Compact, small, everything is in plain sight. My daughter liked everything. Children are occupied, entertained, phones are on time (this is only a plus for me). My daughter did not complain about the food, the counselors are wonderful.
We were in this camp 1 time, the impression was terrible, there was not enough space in the room, 6 girls settled in, it was very stuffy, the toilets were dirty, the shower was open, not everyone had enough time to wash properly, 1 day was terrible, but then the counselors became kinder, the food was for an amateur, my daughter did not really like it, the phones were given out for a quiet hour, there is a lot of entertainment, we swam many times, ice cream was given 1 time a week, and the water is dirty, you need to take it with you.
In general, we stayed only 1 week, the trip was not cheap, repairs since the Soviet era, the rooms are not cleaned, we did not like the camp, we will not go anymore.
I give 2 stars for counselors and entertainment.
I didn't notice the advantages .Three girls went on 06/19/2024 , for the first time full of enthusiasm and wonderful impressions of the upcoming vacation, the next day the children began to complain about bad water and food , they drove 6 2-liter bottles with drinking water , to which they told us at the entrance that there was enough water (they thought there would be no extra for the child, he would drink his own )after they found out that the counselors took away the water and gave it to the squad, the child did not see any water at all. The attitude towards children is terrible, they call important names, the phone is turned off for 15 minutes at best, the children ate for 5 days what they brought initially, because some vomited after eating in the camp.(they were afraid of poisoning themselves ) as a result , they bought a ticket at full cost , the child really wanted to go to the camp, but they took him away crying on the 5th day.I do not recommend camping at all, the staff is rude.
