I was guided when choosing a hotel, first of all, by the location: all the main attractions are within walking distance, there are a huge number of cafes and restaurants for every taste and budget, public transport stops nearby, shops with a minimum set of necessities literally 2 steps away, a magnificent view of the Marmara Sea. From the moment of check-in to departure, the very friendly hotel staff was attentive to all requests. The guys at the reception do not speak Russian, but with the help of an online translator they communicate without problems and help. The room is quite spacious, with a terrace overlooking the Marmara Sea. Everything you need in the room is available: wi-fi, air conditioning, kettle, hairdryer, mirror, refrigerator... A wet cleaning of the room and a change of towels were carried out every other day. Breakfast in the attic with a wonderful view of the Marmara Sea, standard for hotels. I definitely recommend this hotel for those who want to relax and get acquainted with the unique history of the city of extraordinary beauty.
Deniz houses means house by the sea, as I understand it. From this point of view, everything is fine, the view from the 3rd floor is gorgeous. The girl at the reception is super-responsive, I think her name is Seyda. She told me EVERYTHING about the best way to get there, where to eat, etc.
The hotel itself is tired, the room got caught after a small flood, judging by the ceiling. The curtains were torn off the curtains a little, the double bed was also without sophistication, my back and neck did not like it. It is also very bad with breakfast, there is 1 boiled egg and several small slices with jam, sour cream, honey, butter. You can collect bread and enjoy what you have. The dining room is on the roof, the view is chic. The hotel is 7 minutes from Sultan Akhmet Mosque. The location and responsive receptionist only save this place
The main advantage of this hotel is its location: five minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Square and tram tracks.
Another plus: there are umbrellas for the unpredictable Istanbul weather and a good view of the strait if your room has a sea view. The embankment is 2 minutes away, there is a lot of food in the area.
Among the disadvantages: a meager monotonous breakfast (a slice of tomato and cucumber, croutons, a piece of butter, soft cheese, an egg with a tablespoon of sour cream). Jam, honey, instant coffee with milk powder, olives and olives without restriction. There were apples once in 5 days.
In the room for two, they gave 2 miniflakons of shampoo, liquid soap. No shower gel is provided, no foot towel, no slippers. The room was not cleaned, even the trash cans were not emptied once in 6 days.
In general, if you go for 2-3 nights, you can stop.
I liked the hotel, the room was clean, clean towels, clean bed linen, clean bathroom, TV, kettle, mugs - everything was fine. The windows looked directly onto the Marmara Sea, and there were very beautiful sunrises. I chose the hotel based on its location and it is really very successful, all the main attractions can be reached on foot. I took off the star for breakfast, they were nothing - one egg, one piece of cucumber and tomato, one piece of creepy sausage, fried bread and all sorts of jams were given in portions. It's even impossible to get enough of it, in short, there's only one name for breakfast. Otherwise, everything is fine.
Nice view from the rooms, terrace where breakfast is served, friendly staff. There is very little choice for breakfast, but the hotel is normal for its money.
I was in Istanbul in December 2023. I arrived in the morning, it was still far from check-in, but I was immediately given a room on the 3rd floor. The view of the Marmara Sea, the room is clean, the tiny balcony, I was satisfied. Since I spent the night at the airport, I immediately fell asleep. Then she went for a walk around Istanbul for the whole day. I returned in the evening. Of course, I was tired and wanted to relax right away, but at 10 p.m. the music started, it turns out there is a cafe right next to the hotel. There was no question of falling asleep. The frames in the window are quite old, wooden, the music is right in your ears. At one o'clock in the morning, I went down to the reception and asked - is this the case every night? I was told that in Turkey you can make noise for up to 2 hours. But I didn't sleep until 5 a.m. In the morning I asked for another room with windows on the other side. They moved to another hotel of the same owner, probably. The other 4 nights were great. About breakfast - I had breakfast only once. They are very modest. I preferred to have breakfast in different cafes.
I didn't care about cleaning, I lived alone, I didn't litter, I only came to spend the night. If I still have to be in Istanbul, I will be happy to settle there. The price per
night is 30€.
The hotel is well located, close to the Blue Mosque, Sofia, the Basilica and generally in a pleasant location. Sultanahmet tram station is a 10-minute walk away, from where you can leave both over the bridge and onto the embankment.
The breakfasts are very meager (egg, a piece of sausage / cucumber / tomato and 3in1 coffee, it seems to me there is no point in them.
The rooms are tired, but clean and tidy; the bathroom is in good condition. The sea view is cool!
Friendly, helpful guys work at the reception, they will help and prompt.
For attic rooms - be prepared for the cry of seagulls and their trampling on the roof😂😂😂

A good hotel for those who came to see the city, and not to hang out at the hotel.
The rooms are modest, clean and reasonably priced.
Very close to the main attractions
Breakfasts are one name, for show.
But we were ready for it. Everything else is fine.
The staff does not speak Russian.
When choosing a hotel, the main thing was the location. Everything is fine with this. The hotel is located in the center of Sultanahmet. This is where the advantages end. For 5 days of our rest, the room was cleaned 1 time and then it can't be called cleaning. The towel was not replaced, nothing was washed in the bathroom, tea and coffee were never replenished. The most unpleasant was the visit of the "unexpected guest" COCKROACH!
Responsive staff. Clear. Room cleaning every day. The breakfasts are monotonous, but enough to eat. The location is very convenient. Sultan Akhmet is a 10-minute walk away. View of the Marmara Sea from the room.
A small hotel with a good view of the Marmara Sea and pleasant prices. All the sights are close.
Among the disadvantages is cleaning the rooms, slightly shabby furniture and the staff does not speak Russian, although "Russian-speaking staff" is indicated when booking.
A small hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfasts are of course for an amateur)) there is an embankment with dolphins nearby. The hotel is also located next to the Blue Mosque. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby.
A wonderful hotel, convenient for temporary accommodation. The breakfasts are monotonous, the rooms are not cleaned every day. The receptionist is beautiful! He doesn't know Russian, but he explains it in English and Turkish. I understood her with basic knowledge of English and the similarity of the Tatar language with Turkish.
A cozy, inexpensive, small (16 rooms) hotel in the European part of the metropolis, 5-7 minutes walk from three attractions: The Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and Topkapi. Breakfast is a little meager, but you're not going to Istanbul for a hotel breakfast, are you? The rooms are clean, all systems are working. However, make no mistake: the staff does not speak Russian - except for one woman who cleans the rooms. Do not change dollars and euros for lira in Fatiha, do not be lazy to walk to Sultanahmet Square, the exchange rate is more profitable there. I recommend visiting this hotel.

A good hotel with prices that are pleasant for the center of Istanbul. The guys at the reception speak English tolerably well, and the girl at the reception is fine. At first I took a room with breakfast, but then I extended the room without it, because it is quite meager. It was strange that there was no toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom.
Great location. Quiet rooms. There is a sea view. A 10-minute walk from Hippodrome Square, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff is English-speaking, polite, and always ready to help
Modest, but very cozy atmosphere, responsive and friendly staff, wonderful location.

The owners should make repairs in at least the 2nd room, and put the 15th on semi-annual ventilation - it is smoky, it stinks terribly. Advantages for the location of the hotel and friendly staff.
