We went to this hotel on the advice of friends and after looking at reviews and ratings.
But as they say, until you look at it yourself, you won't understand.
The hotel is generally not bad and I took off the stars to lower this inflated rating. So I would give 3 and a half stars.
Positive:
Tunisia has its own well-groomed territory, there is a place to walk.
Normal food, however, is the same every day, but cooked in different ways (beef, chicken, rabbit, fish, occasionally quail, and all sorts of side dishes). There is no seafood except fish at all, except for a couple of shrimp in pasta. In general, the feeding is for a solid four.
Nice beach and sea (if not stormy). Sand…
Alcohol is not bad either, including beer.
That's probably all.
Cons:
The most important disadvantage is that the hotel is not for Russians. And even more so not for Russian vacationers with children.
There is no children's animation for Russians at all, and do not listen to those who say that there was or will be. She's gone!!! Even at the mini disco, all the songs are in German. And there is no Russian channel with cartoons either.
The staff does not understand Russian, except for the notorious Elena and Ines. There is a separate conversation about Elena.
The attitude towards Russians is clearly worse than towards the Germans and the French. Someone will argue that it is necessary to tip, well, let's all in a row. And the staff at the bar, on the beach, etc., in a normal hotel should work with everyone equally well.
The hotel has a swimming pool with a depth of 1 m 40 cm. This seems to be a plus. but! You can't go into this pool with children, and since there is no animation and there is no one to leave the child with, we didn't get into it. Therefore, I write in the cons.
The common pool is 90 cm deep, there are a lot of people there, so crawling on my knees in this puddle, I did not leave the feeling of something dirty, especially since there is not a little sand at the bottom, and someone else's hair gets into my face. Therefore, it is also a minus.
Beach towels are also a separate conversation. This is the first time I've seen this. They give them out at the store and nowhere else. You can come and there are no towels, only wet ones. The towels themselves are thin. Usually you take 2 and it's not convenient to carry, but here you can just put two pieces in a bag. Regular towels in the shower are much bigger and fluffier than these.
Many people write about cockroaches in the room, we didn't have them – that's good.
And now the general points:
One of the most impressive is how the ceiling collapsed on the way from the reception to the restaurant. It was on Tuesday, 07/02/19. We were just returning from lunch. That is, there was a lot of movement of people. According to comments from the hotel staff, one of the employees climbed up to repair something and either fell out with the ceiling, or the ceiling fell on him. When they took him away by the hand, he looked very bad. They were very lucky that the ceiling did not collapse on any of the vacationers, much less a child. I filmed the aftermath of the collapse, but the hotel staff "attacked" me and wouldn't let me go until I deleted this video. In general, the story was hushed up and the ceiling was repaired a week later. But for me, this case has become egregious, since such things simply cannot and should not happen in a hotel with such a rating.
Going to an A la carte restaurant:
This is of course something incomprehensible, I must say right away that everything was delicious, but I haven't been served anywhere for so long, especially since the recording takes place in advance.
We arrived at 19.15. The table was set for two, although we ordered for three. Then people came and the tables were set for them too.
The first course was brought at 19.38 and this despite the fact that it was booked in advance and the menu was known, and not ordered on the spot, as in a regular restaurant. 23 minutes??!!
The salad was brought at 19.55.
At the same time, the people who came before us and had been waiting for the second after the soup for 40 minutes began to leave! We decided to endure and wait for the whole action.

We made an appointment for Thursday, as just on Thursdays, in addition, there is a meeting of regular customers of the hotel. Well, everything should be much better here.

The conclusions for me personally are not comforting. I am not used to such pauses during meals. And you don't have to convince me that this is a restaurant serving, it's not.
When cleaning the room, they somehow found my underpants, which I changed into swimming trunks and put on a chair under my clothes, and laid out a figure of them on the bed. At first I didn't even understand how to treat such a "compliment", but still it's unpleasant when they touch underwear and try to make it "beautiful". This is usually done from towels. Later, he hid his underpants in the closet.
One more thing: this is the first time I've seen the hotel staff sitting, drinking next to the guests. This happens all the time here, Lena is with the same small bosses, they put the table a little to the side and sit and relax. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it's just that in other hotels it's forbidden to the staff.
Some animators are involved in the evening shows, apparently in order to save money. Periodically, they call for some kind of band with live music.
As for how many people write that everything can be solved: they came to the room after lunch (about 13.30), they wanted to put the child to bed, and a puncher was banging on top. After 10 minutes, I couldn't stand it and went upstairs, where workers are repairing the balcony railing. I made a remark to them, of course they don't care. I go down to the reception, and there is just Elena "with whom everything can be solved", I describe the situation, swear and say that such things need to be done while everyone is on the beach, and not in a quiet hour. The answer is literally "It's good that you came to me, of course we'll solve everything now" and an embarrassed smile. And what do you think? The noise has stopped! Hurray!!! But it happened 20 minutes later, when the fence was finished))) Fuck everyone here. Fuck it. I recorded this case right in the room on my phone until the impressions faded away. I even have a child lying down and saying Dad, but we have never had it like this anywhere at sea. He calls our vacation the sea. The child is 5 and a half years old. We were with him on our Black Sea coast, on the Sea of Azov and in the Crimea (I mean, in my opinion, the service there is much worse). And here you are, Tunisia surprised him))
After my complaints in the group, Elena apologized and handed over a bottle of wine with our friends. This is of course a plus.
I also want to touch on the topic of the hammam separately. I don't even know how to describe it. In general, I love the hammam and always go to it. There is no hammam in this hotel. Who can say that he is, he has never been in a hammam. I have an association that such a hammam-washroom should be public in a run-down village. I don't even want to write about it. I advise everyone to go and see it. And after that, he goes to a normal hammam, with a stone in the middle, with water bowls, with a mosaic finish…
Sorry for the little confusion, but I can't remember a lot of things anymore.
Finally, I will add a review that one girl sent me after I started a negative in the group of this hotel on the Internet. I add a review with her consent (she does not want to post it herself):

But... 80 percent of the declared hotel was not provided. The pool was not heated, although it was very cold. For the first time, we did not understand whether we had come there. It was a nightmare. A cloudy blue liquid and an egg stuffed with dog food. There were several times in the hope that the eyes were deceiving. "Live music". Four drunken Germans (you can listen to them for nothing to do).And the rest of the entertainment is about nothing. My husband categorically refused to go to the evening shows, having been to the fire show. Apparently, good artists don't go to this hotel. I assume that they are banally thrown there. Lena puts herself into the program at her discretion for small kickbacks. People are eating. I'm watching the hotel. It's a complete deception. Where are LOLO And BERNIE, announced at the beginning of the season, where is the director of the mini-club, where is Shelong, something has not been heard about him for a long time. Before the GREAT GALLA (I wrote with three just in case, I don't understand whether it's Gala or Galla in a new way every time). And so at every step, you can't remember much. And all these fictional and inexpensive tours: "behind the scenes", meeting the dawn, cleaning the beach, a tour of the hotel - inexpensive activities for beautiful photos. In short, it felt like money had been pulled out of your pocket. Among the advantages: the food, the lobby, where we constantly hid from the cold, very good staff, except for some who consider themselves smarter than everyone. I am not writing a review on tophotels, so as not to enter into a discussion with Elena. It was enough. I'm glad that they started writing the truth about the hotel. I hope it will help many people not to spoil their vacation and save money. But still, they decided that it was not worth drawing conclusions about the country on a particular occasion."
Conclusions:
I paid the money that the hotel wanted and I am waiting for a vacation service of at least 4 stars and at most for this inflated rating. And I should not come to the reception to solve any issues, this should happen without my participation. All issues can be resolved in a 3-star hotel, at a price twice as low.
The staff should be friendly, regardless of which country the tourist came from.
The most important disappointment is that there is not what was promised.
Accordingly, there is a very big difference in the price-quality ratio. If the rest was a third cheaper, then all the cons would be not only pluses, but how would it be the norm.
Therefore, think very carefully before you buy a ticket to this hotel and do not say that you were not warned when you leave the hotel. I repeat once again that this is my personal opinion and it may not coincide with the opinion of other vacationers at this hotel.
The hotel is on a weak 3. There are always problems with food: queues, the same thing. One evening there was a video shoot in the restaurant, so there was everything on the tables, and the next day there was nothing but fast food! It's a complete show-off, Russia is resting compared to Tunisia! You can swim only in the sea, and there is no pool where you can swim with your child (she swims well with me): there is a pool of 40 cm, 80 cm, and there is a pool of 130, but you can not go there with children! There's a fat German floating there....it! I do not recommend going there to ANYONE!
The architecture of the hotel is beautiful, but unfortunately I was put in a room for a very long time. An hour and a half later, I was finally checked in. The rooms are not very comfortable, the staff is not friendly. But in general, the hotel is not bad, I rate it 4 out of 5 points.
