Just a delight!!! I read the reviews before my trip to Abkhazia and realized that you definitely need to look here. We didn't regret it. It is very tasty, the portions are good, the prices are very pleasant. My favorite is lula kebab, Abkhazian frying pan, solyanka, ajapsandali. Very tasty. I recommend that you definitely look here. A pleasant cafe with reasonable prices and good quality food. We ordered fish, a boat with an egg, chebureks, compote, fries and nuggets. Everything is delicious. The only thing that I didn't like was chacha, my husband said that it hurt too much, he was tearing his throat. But here for an amateur)))
And the general disadvantage of all cafes in Abkhazia is that there is neither a children's room nor any children's corner to distract the child.

We were led by 5 stars in the reviews and decided to definitely visit Cafe Del Mar. No, well, the food is certainly not bad. But the service leaves much to be desired. We were with two children, ordered water, the children were very thirsty. It was brought only 10 minutes later, in a bottle. I don't understand the difficulty of getting a bottle out of the refrigerator and serving it to the guests. The plate in Abkhazian and lobio was served quickly enough, but khinkali was cooked for 30 minutes, and dumplings with cheese in general for 40 minutes!!! When the kids are all tired out. I don't understand why it takes so long to cook dumplings?! Are they molded before serving? Unlikely. In general, the mood is spoiled. We probably won't be going back there anymore. In the neighboring cafes, the serving was lightning fast.

If I could put 6 stars, I would put 7 stars!!! Because this place is not only about incredibly delicious, always fresh food, but also about real southern hospitality!

We went to this cafe (after several others) with our family in August 24 For dinner.
This is trash, comrades!!!
1. The menu is meager, Del Mar - we thought there was something fishy, but alas, there are not even ordinary mussels.
2. There is no barbecue, that is, there are no kebabs - the main dish of the region. It was not possible to evaluate…
3. There is a cradle, hooray., but it is fried in a frying pan ... what??? Well, it's definitely anything, but not a cradle. Other reviews also write about this, we did not take it right away.
4. Frying pan - well, sori, of course, it's just a vegetable stew with 3 pieces of chicken, which fit into a clay bowl with a lid (do not expect a sizzling frying pan, there are no such things at all)! While they were transferring it to cold dishes, everything cooled down. Well, in general, the dish was without salt!!! We didn't even finish it - well, it's not tasty at all.
5. Ajapsandali is a strange composition of the dish - more than 40% was carrots in large chunks, about the recipe from the word in general. And again, not what is stated. It's not tasty either!
6. Well, the trick of dinner is tangerine juice!!! The drink really looks like juice with pulp, but it tastes like packaged (and obviously not citrus) juice with the addition of ... finely grated .... carrots (it's her again, dear).
The verdict of our family: the cafe specializes in dishes with the addition of carrots (cheap and angry), that's the secret for you, dear fans of cheap establishments!
Plus, we made an input that, with a large number of ratings of 1 star - 5.0, according to reviews, it looks very much like a cheat!
I do not advise you to check!

That year, 2023, my family and I visited Abkhazia, the village of Amzara for the first time. Before the trip, we studied the entire Internet about where to go to eat. And according to the reviews, we decided to visit Cafe Del Mar.
The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is delicious, the prices are pleasantly average, the hosts are hospitable, sociable.

We came next time for lunch, there is no such thing, there is no compote (from a pear or from a dogwood) we order a pear (the question is if there is no dogwood pear to bring? ) no, you don't have to bring anything, they got up and left again. We didn't make a third attempt. You don't have such a large menu, I would say very modest (there is no steak) why are there any problems all the time? The 5 rating on the reviews surprised me...

In the summer of June 2022, we were in Abkhazia, walking through the streets of the village looking for a cozy place where you can have a delicious meal. We found this cafe with a very attractive name Cafe Del Mar, which spoke for itself that the level here is decent and just what we need (with our requirements after 4 and 5 stars in hotels in Turkey, it is not easy to find such places in Abkhazia)
Positive:
+A very cozy place, you can eat indoors or on the terrace with pleasant music, and in the evening with excellent illumination.
+ Very attentive and polite attitude to customers.
+ Excellent pork kebab (the best of all that I have tried in Abkhazia)
+Trout is excellent
+Here is the best chacha and homemade wine - of all I drank during 8 days of vacation in Abkhazia
+ After the first visit to this place, the children asked to eat here
+ the price tag is lower than the average for Abkhazian restaurants, especially for chacha - 50 rubles for 50ml or 400 rubles for 500ml !!!
Once we came to this restaurant, we waited a little longer than usual for shashalyk, because the meat has not yet been delivered. And Svetlana Mikhailovna (the hostess of the institution), because of the long wait, treated my children to a delicious honey cake. Such a compliment from the Chef delighted my wife and me very much

Overall 3+. The place itself is not bad. Decent toilet and service, there are 2 separate gazebos. But the food is not very good (they took the complex), the portions are small. BUT, it is 100 times better than the Glacier next door, for whom the territorial factor plays a big role.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to leave a review... June 2023, on the day of arrival, we happened to be in this wonderful cafe! You won't believe it, but it's true! We came to Abkhazia for the first time. We have two families with children, (the picky kids are still those..!!!) having tried to have lunch there once, (by the way, we immediately received a compliment in the form of a medlar, which we really liked) during the whole vacation, we have NEVER changed this wonderful cafe, where EVERYTHING is so fresh, varied, and delicious!!!! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the most wonderful, kind, responsive Svetlana, the hostess of Cafe Del Mar, where you can have a delicious meal!!! And most importantly, it is safe (tested)!!! And then many are afraid for various reasons, especially with children, so you can say that it has been Tested and Tested on yourself!!! Masha, the waitress, is so cute, polite, will always help and prompt.. We felt at home! The children shouted - to eat only here! And we are glad that there were no problems with food! And most importantly, the prices were pleasantly surprised! Set meals-for only 250 rubles!
And how wonderful chacha, cognac and wines are, we took here almost every day! We haven't tried this in our life yet! My husband is delighted! And also various compotes and this incredible tangerine jam ... everything is prepared with Svetlana's golden pens!!!
After the first acquaintance, here in the cafe, we were also offered to stay here for a vacation ... at the Hotel Del Mar.. None of us expected such happiness! How wonderful it all was! ... but that's a completely different story… We're just some kind of Miracle! We got into this incredible fairy tale! Thank you so much for this wonderful vacation!!!

The best place in Tsandrypsh! We rented a room here, very cozy , clean, a minute to the sea. We ate right there in the cafe, it was very tasty, the service was 100 out of 100, I didn't even want to go anywhere else, the food was delicious like at home, compared to other local cafes and canteens, it was nice to sit and eat here. This cafe was located next to our guest house, so we decided to go here on the first day. And they didn't regret it! The most delicious khachapuri we've ever tasted. Pork and chicken kebabs are very good. Very tasty fried eggs (I already remembered my childhood in the village, when they made scrambled eggs just from chicken), pancakes, oriental coffee, French fries. Not everything is always available, but what is there is at a very decent level, believe me, a fastidious person who did not eat prepaid lunches in a guest house, spat on the money and went here. They cheated on them twice and went to eat in other places in order to get together, and returned here. Of the disadvantages, I can note that in the evenings you have to wait for your order for quite a long time, because almost all the tables are often occupied. We found a way out - we pre-ordered for a certain time.
