We visited Diamond a few years ago, the service was perfect, the food was delicious, the price was adequate, taking into account the location of the restaurant, and now we were going to enjoy dinner again, but... it didn't work out.
A battered menu from which sheets fall out. The elevator is designed for two people, we went up with the children separately. This is the first time we've encountered something like this!
The bathroom is a whole quest to get there! The restaurant is on the 5th floor, you need to walk down 2 floors, or take the elevator to 4 and walk another floor down, and most importantly, do not get confused! When you get there, you will be pleased that there is no hot water in the faucet.
Everything is very strange)))
Next, a good pizza, and 2000 drams for a glass of juice, they took 2 liters and 10 glasses were broken for a total of 20,000 drams, and 15% of the service fee for 2 carafes of juice was included))) And considering that the service is included in the bill, they won't bring you the change anyway.
We definitely do not recommend this establishment, because a typical restaurant in the center of Yerevan should have a higher level of cuisine and service. This is not a restaurant.

The Diamond restaurant in Yerevan disappointed, despite the promising view of Republic Square. Yes, the landscape is really beautiful, but, unfortunately, this is the only advantage of the establishment.
The service leaves much to be desired: the waiters have to wait a long time, and even simple requests are fulfilled with noticeable delay. The inclusion of 15% for service in the receipt is surprising — for such a quality of service, this is completely unjustified.
As for the cuisine, the dishes turned out to be average: not bad, but also nothing outstanding, especially for such a price.
Overall, this place did not meet expectations. You shouldn't come here just for the sake of the view. Evaluation: 2 out of 5

The first restaurant we visited in Armenia as soon as we arrived. Yes, I won't say he's the best. But the views from the terrace are simply mesmerizing. The food didn't seem perfect (not the way we like it), but here we need to understand the flavor and not having an understanding of what it should be, I don't undertake to evaluate it strictly. We visited in 2018 and the price surprised us then. Fruit, meat, and wine for three cost us 1.800rubles. Now in 2025, prices there are sooooo high.

You definitely shouldn't go here. The view of the square does not compensate for either the level of service or the taste of the dishes. There is no atmosphere, the staff is very unhappy and does not even try to disguise it. When paying with a card, the waiter made a face as if I had robbed him.

A beautiful place with a view of the central square, fountains, etc. Probably these are all the advantages of this eatery.
Regarding the food: Desserts are bland and not particularly tasty. It feels like people don't know what coffee is and what it should be. Instead of espresso, they brought just a little water with cake. This place is definitely not suitable for coffee lovers.
Regarding prices: get ready to see prices at the Austrian level. Everything is really expensive and is justified only by the interior and the presence of a large number of floors and beautiful locations.
Regarding maintenance: maintenance per unit. Do not put it below because hello, they said and the menu was brought. It's a shame that this cafeteria doesn't know how to serve coffee. Dear friends, espresso is served with water.
I was also very disappointed by one situation at another table. The lack of awareness regarding the serving of wine is very striking. Guys, this is a disaster. The service is just at zero.

The worst restaurant in Yerevan. During a previous trip, I wanted to visit this place, to which I was told that apart from the beautiful view, there is nothing else in this place. I still decided to give this place a second chance.
But unfortunately, my visit to the Diamond restaurant in Yerevan left me with an extremely negative impression. The only advantage of this place is its number of floors and tables with a beautiful view of the central square of Yerevan. But, unfortunately, this is the only plus.
The restaurant's cuisine leaves much to be desired. The desserts we ordered are just a nightmare. "Napoleon" was just wooden! I literally tasted a piece that I barely swallowed. I asked the waiter to pick up the dessert and bring ice cream, since it was impossible to eat this "Napoleon".
However, to my surprise, the waiter did not even deign to clarify why I was not finishing dessert. Moreover, this "Napoleon" was not deducted from my account, and they did not even ask me why I did not like it.
Hygiene was another unpleasant moment. Flies flew around the table, flew into the coffee and tried to land on the food. My piece of Napoleon was apparently cut off with the same knife that was used to cut my friend's dessert, as there were traces of chocolate on it, and my friend had a chocolate dessert.
In general, visiting the Diamond restaurant in Yerevan was a real disappointment. I don't recommend it to anyone.
Dear managers, you have a really great location, a great view of the square, but this is not enough. People come for a beautiful view 1 time, but if there is good service and delicious food, then they will come back to you. The worst place I've ever visited in my life. I do not recommend it. Save your money and don't spoil your impressions of this beautiful city by visiting this terrible place. The only good things here are the location and the view. Nothing else. The waiters are unprofessional, I was shocked to watch one of them in the middle of the working day, almost lying on the bar, hanging on the phone, biting his nails, completely ignoring what was happening in the hall ... shocked by the mojito (pure mint, filled with sprite) - no taste, no aesthetics.

The bar - serving and the taste of cocktails leaves much to be desired
The cuisine tastes mediocre. More importantly, the serving of the dish does not correspond to the very description in the menu that the waiter referred to (the ingredients that are listed on the menu were missing)

Everything is bad here!!! The only good thing is the view, but this is definitely not the merit of this institution. The food was carried for 1.5 hours, the trout was cooked terribly, the service was also not a delight. For four of us, we gave 22,000 AMD, ordering only 4 dishes and tea. The owners of this place have gone crazy! The only thing the receptionist could do was apologize, but we had to pay the full price, otherwise he would have hung this check on the waiters. This is not a solution to the problem. I have been to many places and not only in Russia, this is the first time I have met such a disgusting service.

I wanted to eat steak, the menu indicated the position: "Beef steak", to my fair question, is it machete steak, rib eye, striploin or New York, the waiter went to check with a more experienced person, the waitress came up again, who said simply: "this is beef", well, how to say *** thank you for***. We ordered cocktails that clearly have the wrong proportions, too sugary. The chicken soup had a film over the broth, which corresponds to the fact that it stood for a long time and was just warmed up, I probably wouldn't even understand if they bothered to stir it after heating, it was also absolutely tasteless and without salt. Fettuccine carbonara is a shame, big chunks of cheap ham....
The worst place I've been to in Yerevan, better take a bucket of wings to the KFS and a bottle of wine, get more emotions and taste by eating the same on Republic Square

The only person to whom there are no complaints in this institution is the doorman, the rest are just below the plinth of the service sector.

We ordered a warm salad, Adjarian khachapuri, coffee and lemonade. We waited a very long time. The salad was brought cold, the meat was tough. They asked to redo it, waited another 15 minutes. They brought the exact same salad. The bill was brought for 14,000 drams. They paid for it, left the salad, and asked me to give it to the cook. In general, everything is bad, long and expensive (for such cuisine) it is better to consider other establishments, there is much much better, the same tavern Yerevan. The most tasteless place in Yerevan.
I somehow got used to the delicious gastronomy of Yerevan and relaxed in the choice of places to have dinner.
The beautiful building of the restaurant attracted with the opportunity to dine on the terrace, overlooking not only the entire main square of the city, but partially Ararat.
Briefly, because I don't want to waste time on this dubious institution:
Instead of a loin of lamb, they brought a set of different bones, but not a loin (photo attached).
Medium roast steak was not even performed well down, but simply dried to the state of chips for beer (also in the photo).
The greens are ripe. Caprese salad on tomatoes, apparently brought from Moscow, or more northern latitudes - I don't know why. There are plenty of local tomatoes…
Always bypass it.

It 's a terrible place . We took a VIP booth on the 5th floor, but apart from the beautiful view from the window, we did not observe any other positive aspects. We waited for the waiter for 30 minutes , and during the order it turned out that 90% of the dishes from the menu were simply missing . We ordered a mikado cake, which was just disgusting, the cappuccino was brought cold, then we waited an hour to be counted out. We were served rather rudely and unfriendly , but it is not surprising , since there is one waitress on the 5th floor for a large number of visitors and she simply did not have time to do anything .
I do not recommend this place to anyone, as the prices are very expensive , and there is no service . There is no customer orientation .

But we really needed a view of the square)) we took a pizza, not a masterpiece, but quite good. 2 cocktails - one is straight good, the second did not like: 80% ice and tasteless liquid. The waiters need to be caught. 15% after-sales service is included in the receipt. The view is really gorgeous.

We were "lucky" to stumble upon this place on the first day of a walk around Yerevan. There was no way to view the reviews. Everything went wrong with us that day, and as a conclusion, there was a terribly tasteless dinner that completely ruined the mood.
The pork shish kebab along with the potatoes were very dry, the lamb in the dough, branded and praised by the waitress, was tasteless (no salt, no spices). But a tip of 15% is immediately included in the bill. The only advantage of this place, which of course does NOT overlap the quality of the food and the price tag for it, is the veranda overlooking the square and Ararat.
I strongly do not recommend it.
