It's very cozy. The owners work not for fear, but for conscience.
Clean, delicious breakfast every morning. You can ask for tea at any time, and they will bring you not just tea, but also fruits and jams and something else delicious.
I have never seen such hospitality before...
Of the cons.... So... mmm... The mattress could be softer, but that's if you're from a fairy tale princess on a pea and you need to find fault with something) heh)
The hotel is working very well! Perfect location, cozy courtyard, living rooms and bathrooms. The breakfasts are always delicious and balanced, you can always go into the dining room and make yourself a coffee or tea. The owner is very polite and friendly, always coming forward. On our next visit to Samarkand, we will definitely stop here.
For the first time I stayed in such a pleasant, cozy and green family mini-hotel – guest house with a courtyard, with trees, crowns stretching into the open sky, birds and flowers, a large table where all the guests gathered not only for a delicious breakfast, but also during the day, until late in the evening. Whenever you open the door at 129 Bukharskaya Street, the extremely welcoming, friendly, smiling and hospitable hosts will always offer tea with jam and sweets, and thermoses with hot water, a can of coffee and fruits are on the table all day: apples, grapes, persimmons, watermelon or melon.
The rooms are simple but neat, with everything you need to comfortably spend a few days in Samarkand. All doors and windows overlook the courtyard. On the second floor there are several rooms with a private bathroom, on the ground floor there are the rooms of the owners (Bahron and Fatima with 4 children), a kitchen and two rooms for guests in a dormitory format: 4 beds each with a shared (very modest) shower and toilet. They are about twice as cheap and are in demand among young people and thrifty tourists who are used to staying in hostels. There is no TV in the rooms (which is for the best), but there is a pretty decent Wi-Fi. The location of the hotel in the old town is the most advantageous: Registan Square is only 5 minutes away. The accommodation option is good for everyone, including the cost (especially in comparison with hotels in Tashkent). Even if you have a late departure (as I had a night train to Bukhara), you will not be put out on the street. Things will have to be taken out of the room at noon, of course, so that it can be prepared for the next guest. But you can sit on the cot, drinking tea, as much as you need. If fate brings us to Samarkand someday, we will stop only here
If you want to feel the callorite of Samarkand and feel like visiting friends, and not like in a hotel, welcome to this hotel! Everything is great! Thanks to the hosts!
I really liked it, it was quiet, cozy, fresh and green in the yard. The room is not small, with a large bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Many thanks to the host and his family for their hospitality.
A cozy hotel with very sincere hosts! Excellent unobtrusive service, moderate sociability, perfect hospitality! We were very pleased with our arrival. Responsiveness and dignity - we will remember the vacation with pleasure.
Thank you, Bakkhron and Fatima🌷
