Good afternoon! We have been vacationing in Gagra for many years. We visit Daur Cafe all the time. We would like to express our gratitude to all the staff for the warm welcome and delicious and varied menu! Olga G.Ryazan.
I really liked the polite staff. Very tasty dishes, I tried almost half of the menu while we were resting) the products are all fresh, the child ate with pleasure. They remained very long ago. The prices are not expensive. I recommend it!
I give 4 stars for the availability of a toilet and more or less adequate prices... The quality of the dishes will not suit you if you have tried them in more or less decent establishments in Russia...In the dining room next to work in St. Petersburg, you eat for 300-350 rubles and your stomach is happy, but here you just fill your stomach and then skip (as it was with us)....Plus, there is a 10% service fee...Why the fuck would that be?..There is no such thing in elite restaurants....
Hello everyone 👋
Great cafe. It's delicious and the price is fine. We even purposefully came to eat there three times on purpose. We lived in the village of Alakhadze, went to eat in Gagra))).
We went in the evening to try pilaf and shish kebab. Pilaf with a microscopic amount of meat is a stretch for 3, they refused to eat shish kebab, because after the first bite they felt a huge overkill with salt... Apparently, this is how they try to fix already spoiled products - they gave meat in Abkhazian instead - similarly!!! We asked them to try it themselves, but they refused...
We liked everything. They took borscht, dumplings, a pot of cheese and vegetables, pancakes with cottage cheese, juices. The service was also pleasant, everything was brought quickly and with a smile!
Awful... The woman is a bartender or who she is, I did not understand... But she took the orders... I asked her to wipe the table, she looked at me... "Where you see it is dirty.. A clean table! ".. So she didn't wipe it. Next, I brought the cutlery, taking a fork, it was greasy and smelled of some kind of fish... I asked her to replace it, she was on me again... In general, we didn't go there anymore...
We had a rest in Adler, but we came to Abkhazia as guests and always visited this Cafe, they cook at home, very tasty, thank you very much for your work and attitude towards us to vacationers.
The worst cafe in Gagra, A boat made of raw dough, stinks terribly of yeast, cheese with nails, took borscht, on the water, there is no question of any broth, the pot was with canned rubber champignons, the meat is boiled hard, the potatoes are cold inside, everything is filled with mayonnaise and slightly sprinkled with cheese on top, their money is definitely it's not worth it, I highly recommend not to visit.
We ordered carbonara, khinkali, khachapuri with meat. Carbonara glory in oil, pasta stuck together, instead of bacon some kind of incomprehensible sausage product, cream curled up and floated in this oil, disgustingly then my stomach ached all evening, khinkali of an incomprehensible shape, similar to manta rays, twisted 2 times, the dough is absolutely raw, inside some kind of porridge made of dough with meat, at the expense of khachapuri claims about the raw dough are NOT recommended to go there.
The prices on the price tag do not match those punched on the receipt. Maintenance on the dump
....
It's as if the prices are invented by themselves and they don't give out a check.
We ordered a pizza for 400 rubles and not only did we wait an HOUR and a half, but we got this misunderstanding with a super unprepared dough. If you want to eat, then I strongly advise you not to visit this place. You can only use the open toilet and use WiFi (password: 19411945)
We cooked a khachapuri boat without cheese and with raw dough.....in general, I do not really advise, because the waiter did not approach us for a very long time and not because of the loading of the room, she was standing in a corner just.
How do you like it, to come to the Caucasus and taste a barbecue that is not cooked on the grill - an electric barbecue, it's good that I asked before ordering. The waiter, as soon as she saw us that we intended to have dinner there, went to us and kindly offered a free table, by the way, the table was cleaned, but there was small debris lying nearby, insignificant of course, but still. The menu is quite average, besides there are no dishes on the grill, and in general there were no half of the dishes...
A good cafe, convenient, delicious food, the wine is just gorgeous, and not expensive

I took smoked wings, one small wing 150p, the wings were cold on one side and hot on the other, the feeling that they were frozen and just warmed up in the microwave, it didn't taste like a fountain either. In the stall next door, smoked wings are sold for 300 rubles, 5-6 pieces and much better quality

Thanks to this "cafe", an aversion to hinkals appeared until the very end of the holiday
Of the 5 dishes, all 5 were terrible

We bought carbonara pasta, I have never seen such a terrible pasta, sooo much butter, cream if they were at all, roll everything up, the place of bacon as stated in me was something else, very fatty is not tasty and heaviness in the stomach is provided for the whole day, the only waiter is a grandmother who ate as she walks and you need to pay 10% for the "service" , we will not come any more👍

The food is not tasty, the serving is like in a canteen, there is a lot of fat, it is dirty around.
Yes, they also found hair in a dish, which they got just sorry, it wasn't on purpose
We had lunch today at the Daur cafe. I didn't like everything!!! We took chicken noodles, fish soup, a boat with an egg and hinkals. Soups are cooked in the same broth, carrots are aldente, there are a little fish in the ear, hinkals are incomprehensible. For the first time, I didn't like everything. You can eat, but without the Caucasian pleasure. And where are the local aromatic spices?? The second day in Gagra and we can compare it so far only with the Pearl on the coast. There are soups- dump the heads, the barbecue is super!! That's why we thought it was like that everywhere! We will try further))) and visit new local cafes!
