The biggest disappointment of Polotsk. There was a plan to visit three similar establishments in the city during a tourist trip. The institution is in the top according to reviews if you look at the map. The chefs should be ashamed of the dishes they served. Of all the ordered soups, only the soups turned out to be more or less edible. The level of dishes of the worst canteens in Minsk (am I an overeager snob?). The prices are quite Minsk in a medium-sized cafe. Caesar salad with hard chicken, with Russian cheese, with quail egg for 12p for me, my daughter got classic cutlets with mashed potatoes. The composition of these hard cutlets remained a mystery to me when I honestly tried to finish them with a child. It feels like everything is warmed up and not cooked. Even the super chicken pancake was initially pleased with its crust, until I reached the middle - a not very tasty substance leaked out. Black mushrooms may have been champignons in a previous life. I can't recommend this place. Perhaps the cooks in the kitchen were in a bad mood. We're sorry we didn't tell the girl who served us.

I don't understand where such a high rating comes from. Let's go eat pancakes with my husband. He had eaten them there a long time ago and was delighted. We came, as a result, a long serving, no one is smiling, the waiters are unfriendly and there was a feeling that they were doing us a favor, rude, they do not know how to apologize for their mistakes.
The food was all in mayonnaise, the pancakes turned out to be ordinary, very fatty, in Minsk in Cornflowers while my favorites, they mixed up part of the order (they asked for 1 salad, brought 2), they had to go themselves to pay, they thought for a long time, the girl who counted on us was constantly distracted, there was also some kind of commotion inside the staff.
Everything was terrible, the only plus they didn't spoil the beer, but fortunately it was protected from them by a bottle 😅

A good restaurant for Polotsk. Home cooking, the menu is not very large, but everything is basic. I was upset by the frozen squid in the salad and the abundance of oil, but when asked to replace it, they immediately made another salad. Considering the small number of establishments in the city, it is quite normal.

It was on 10/26/2024 . A place for an amateur . As for the atmosphere ( light , smell , decoration ) , so is the food . We were passing through for the first time , we got there because of the reviews and location ( probably outdated information already ) . Long serving, price-quality food, not friendly staff, all the cutlery is greasy... In general, it passes by 3 points out of 5 !

The most delicious draniki are here! It's not for nothing that excursions are brought here for lunch - dranik in Polotsk, pizza on dranik, draniki with mushrooms and in goshochka - for every taste! They took draniki in all establishments of Polotsk and Novlpolotsk - only in Damian they are like at home! We always bring guests from other cities here. They also have delicious hodgepodge, crambambula and desserts that are not frozen (though, if visitors have not sorted it out before)

We went to the cafe on 04/27/20:27 made an order, we were asked to go into the hall, but there is a very strong smell of fried food and this is a systemic problem. They refused to serve on the street , although there are tables there . They also were not allowed to take the dishes outside on their own, taking into account that we will return them ourselves. We entered on 28.04 . They announced an hour of waiting: "You won't wait an hour, will you?" . I would like to appeal to the owners. You have a great kitchen and a generally good place, but the staff leaves much to be desired. We have been here for the third year in a row and in all three years they smiled at us only once, and this time they refused service on the street at all, although it was +20. It feels like you 're always getting a favor when you 're being served . Please send the waiters to the hospitality courses if you care about them. We like your kitchen, but it's not enough.

A dark, cramped, cluttered room with antique interior items. Uncomfortable furniture. The kitchen is so-so. It's fine, but nothing extraordinary. Anyone who thinks that they are well fed there has simply not been to decent places with good cuisine. The waitresses fly past you, not interested: maybe we want something else, whether we liked it. As soon as we entered, the girl at the bar was not very happy with us. I had to convince her to find us a table. Now I regret it: I had to leave as soon as she gave out the "dishes", I will have to wait 30 minutes. In general, we haven't set foot there for the second time!

We were passing through Polotsk.We went to have lunch, because this cafe was the closest to us.Solyanka for 3, pork with vegetables is delicious, draniki are delicious, they have never eaten such.Carbonara is also not a fantan.Very tasty tea with strawberries and raspberries!The bill, by Russian standards, is small for three, 2400 (solyanka, pork with vegetables, cutlets with mashed potatoes, carbonara, two cappuccino,tea, pancakes with mushrooms, milk cocktail and red velvet).I'm taking off my toilet score.The smell is just terrible!The public toilet near St. Sophia Cathedral is much cleaner and not with such a smell.

We were at the Damian Cafe in October. The interior is colorful. We took dishes of national cuisine, very tasty machanka with pancakes. Summer residents are a bit fat. Dishes with mushrooms are also delicious. The service is not restaurant, but it is quite acceptable.

I am shocked by the high reviews. We ordered Caesar with chicken, salad with tongue, Polotsk dranik, drinks. The pitch is long, unfriendly! Salads are about nothing, you can make it better at home and decorate it more beautifully. No one bothers with the design of the dishes, they put it on a plate and okay, it tastes like complete nonsense. Three only for the fact that the food is fresh. And so there are a lot of threes.

It was 11.06. Long serving and high price for medium-table quality. There are no set meals. The pot was with 5 pancakes and a tablespoon of some kind of liquid with a couple of pieces of chicken. There were customers sitting next to us who ordered soup. They didn't like it either. A few years ago, everything was really good in this place, as it is written in the reviews, but now it is better to avoid this place.

One of my favorite concepts is Belarusian cuisine. The design is appropriate. It is not poorly cooked, but it is not clear why it is long in time. Despite the most laudatory reviews and presentation as the best cafe, I rate it as average in terms of the quality of the cuisine. Solyanka is not a hodgepodge, hot dishes and salads are like in a regular dining room. I expected more. It's probably the best place in town, but I've never been to another one. The decoration of the cafe in the form of a hut is stylish, but now few people will be surprised by this.
