The museum in the mosque on Taksim Square. Admission is paid for adults. There is an audio guide (in English). The exhibition is dedicated to the formation of the Turkish Republic during the reign of Ataturk. The topic is interesting, but unfortunately, only photographs of those times predominate and there are very few real artifacts. A few personal belongings of Ataturk and a small number of exhibits are presented in quite a large number of halls, which give the impression of not being full. I would like to see more original items from that era in the museum.
