My favorite hotel. We have been staying there for many years. Unfortunately, during the last visit it became noticeable that the hotel needs renovation. The rooms are a little tired. There were no good cosmetics in the bathroom - only liquid soap and cheap shampoo. As it is, everything is fine. There is a Russian-speaking staff. The center of West Berlin. The best restaurants, the best shopping - everything is at hand.
A good chain hotel. Very tasty breakfasts. I liked the spa area, small but logical and comfortable. Everything is working, the pool is clean. The rooms are good. There were problems with filling the room, they constantly applied - they would forget the shower gel, then shampoo. It was a little annoying, but let's make a discount that it was still New Year's holidays. As soon as they ended in Germany, everything went well.
I often stay at this hotel - 2.3 times a year. The rooms are small, but comfortable enough. There is a kettle and tea in the room, it is nice to drink tea in the evening.
Breakfast is not included, but you can pay for it at check-in for all days of your stay, in this case, it will cost 18 euros per person, or specify it immediately when booking. But if you come for breakfast in the morning, it costs 24 euros per person. Therefore, immediately decide where you will have breakfast.
Breakfast is good, but it's the same every day. A large selection of cheeses, fresh fruits, yoghurts, pastries. You can drink champagne for free.
It is not always possible to check in early. The earliest check-in was at 12 p.m.
I put 5+ for the location.
The best shops are nearby. Zoo.
Excellent location in the city center. There is a zoo nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is varied. The staff deserves special praise.
Disgusting reception and housekeeping work. I forgot my jacket and shirt in the closet, returned to the hotel 2 days later, asked to look for it and return it.
They rudely refused, they said that there were no things. To the question, where can they go in principle, the answer was - it's none of our business, we don't know.
then they told me to contact the police and insure things in the future if they are so valuable. Thanks to the Crowne Plaza for such a boorish attitude towards the client.
A 4-star hotel that loses (or steals) a client's belongings is beyond reasonable.
