The 2* hotel is very simple, but it has everything you need - a safe, air conditioning, fan, mini fridge. The bed linen and towels are old, I recommend pillowcases and a face towel (for sure) to take with you, as well as shampoos / shower gels. The hotel is next to the road, noisy. It is better to choose a room on the 2nd floor, rather than on the 1st. Breakfast is very simple (omelette, toast with butter and jam), tea. I took dinner and it was very tasty- fish, rice, shrimp and dessert (fruit). The location of the hotel is convenient for traveling, because it is on the main road, there is a bus stop nearby and it is close to Galle Fort (a colonial fortress with a town inside, I recommend). There is a super market and a fruit stand nearby. It takes 7-10 minutes to get to the beach by tuk-tuk, to a shopping street with shops and cafes. Walking is not very pleasant along a road without a sidewalk with heavy traffic. But I walked in the mornings when there was less traffic and it wasn't hot. The staff is wonderful and helpful, which is a big plus. Seafood purchased at the market will be prepared for a small fee. Be sure to take a fumigator, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening. It was early January 2025, and it was raining every evening.

Great little hotel! I stayed for 2 weeks in a standard room with air conditioning.,the room has everything you need,refrigerator,shower and toilet.,the bed is comfortable, slept very well.When I was driving, I knew that the hotel was far from the beach and located on a noisy road, I took earplugs... but to my surprise I didn't need them, I slept very well, everything calms down in the evening, and I can only hear the noise and chirping of all kinds of animals. The breakfasts are normal, if you ask, they can cook porridge or fry pancakes for breakfast! The staff is not cocky, but attentive! Manager Kolya will cook you a fish for a reasonable fee. I intentionally took the hotel away from the beach in order to walk more, and therefore I was very satisfied with everything! One day, while having dinner, I saw a monkey on the roof, they are like our cats here...everywhere! The overall impression is 5, I liked everything, the weather was good, it rained a couple of times in the afternoon, I had a rest since December 11, 2024. I recommend it to those who like to walk a lot, or by price category. if you do not have enough money for 4-5 on the shore. There is a safe in the room.

I do not recommend this hotel. A deluxe room with air conditioning was paid for, and upon arrival they showed a terrible closet (this is not a room!!)The size is 3*2 with no windows, an inoperable air conditioner, a small bed and a bedside table with a mirror.They began to assure us that it was literally for three days and we would put you in your room, which was occupied by other tourists for a second.We'll give you a gift, they say.They very cleverly came up with the idea of taking money from me and settling other tourists.She moved out on the same day. And it wasn't just me who had this situation.Do not deceive your guests, because of you, I lost a whole day of my vacation to find another place to live.

A small, cozy hotel, with very helpful staff. We had a rest in November 2024. They settled in immediately, and were treated to cold juice at the meeting. Manager Kolya speaks Russian well, he will always tell you everything and solve the problem. A kind and quiet atmosphere. It's a long way to the beach, 20 minutes on foot. But there are tuk tuks and crazy basses. To the left of the hotel there is a small shop with delicious, inexpensive national pies. And further down the street, across the bridge there is an alcohol market and a little further there is a fish market. If without any special complaints, then a very great place.

We had a rest from 10.01-19.01.2024 In Sri Lanka for the first time, the hotel was chosen based on reviews. According to the rooms: clean, there are air conditioners (not in all rooms) and a ceiling fan (it is quite enough). The pool is clean. The reception is large, you can spend time in the evenings. Separately, I would like to note the friendly staff, especially Kolya (as he asked to be called). Not far from the hotel there is a fish market where you can buy fresh fish and Kolya will cook it for a small fee, but it's sooo delicious! It's a long walk to the beach, but by tuk tuk for 200 rupees to the Ceylon Spa and then along a shopping street with cafes through which you can go to the beach. I definitely recommend the hotel. Nearby there is a bakery with fresh pastries and a Plane Tree cafe where you can eat not expensive and tasty.

A great hotel in its class. They arrived as friends and lived in a higher class hotel, but as it turned out, it was worse. The hotel staff is wonderful. Special thanks to the administrator Kolyan (speaks good Russian), who promptly solves any situation. Good location, near a bakery, cafe, fruit. The additional payment on the tuk tuk is 200 rupees (about 50 rubles). A comfortable reception with a terrace where companies gather in the evening. The visitors are mostly all Russian. January 2024.

A non-luxury hotel, close to the road, which means it is noisy, the neighbors were not heard, although the occupancy was 100%. I recommend breakfast quite for your money (on the main street it will be the same and more expensive). Half an hour walk to the sea. Definitely not for children, but rather for travelers, because there is Parking for mopeds. The pool is small, you can swim, there are only 2 sun beds, taking into account the climate and the warm ocean, you only need to take a dip from the road. Nearby to the right of the hotel are a good and inexpensive couple of cafes, to the left about 5 minutes is a cool nook with fresh fruit and coconut. For 500rubles, the hotel staff will prepare seafood purchased at the fish market. Nature is just fire!

The hotel is located in a good location, close to everything you need (shops, cafes, bus stop). The manager and all the staff of the hotel are very hospitable. The hotel has a swimming pool and a recreation area. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious. The rooms are clean, if necessary, room cleaning, change of towels and linen. We really liked it, we would like to come back again.

We rested at this hotel with our daughter. To be honest, it seemed to us that the rating of this hotel is unreasonably high. More disadvantages: it is far enough from the sea and you need to walk along a noisy highway. The room is very mediocre, the air conditioning seemed to be there, but the staff was very persuaded not to turn it on. The breakfasts are monotonous.
It's just that the staff is friendly.

The hotel is 2*, so don't expect more from it! There was air conditioning in the room, but it didn't work. Only the ceiling fan. I didn't have a window in my room, I almost suffocated at night. Santeznik is working properly. There are no complaints about the hotel, it is 2 *, so I put a 5k. Special thanks for the friendly staff, greeted with a cool cocktail, carried the suitcase to the room. There is a cafe.

For the first time in Asia, it is better to choose another hotel, otherwise a cultural shock is not excluded) But I put 4, for the fact that my 2* is justified) Yes, these are not European 2*, yes, they are cleaned on demand, yes, breakfasts are not diverse, but you do not need to require a suite from such a hotel either) in general, there is a safe in the room, the gates close at night, so it is safe to leave all valuables even for 2-3 days in the safe, the rooms are a little shuffled (if take the standard) but again - this is 2* in Asia - they do not go there for snow-white sheets and fresh repairs) the location of the hotel is very good, 800 - 1 km from two beaches (this is 200 local rupees per tuke), in the heat it is better not to walk on foot) the hotel staff really tries that they are also good fellows, they know English more or less, understand Russian a little, so you can definitely explain yourself with them) most of the guests are our compatriots, it will not be boring)

We rested in Sri Lanka for the first time, we chose it, because the tour operator Anex posted a tempting offer for tours. Choosing a 2* hotel in Asia, of course, we were afraid, and counted on the worst, but our thoughts about the bad did not come true at all, on the contrary, everything turned out very well)) at Colombo airport, after receiving the luggage, many representatives of Anex came out and took away (Lankans, but they speak Russian very well), they promptly distributed everyone on buses and we went to the hotel. On the way, the tour guide told us a lot of useful information and answered all your questions. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were checked in immediately, the room was nice and clean. The bathroom can be seen that only after renovation, everything is fresh and brand new. The room has a large bed, TV, refrigerator, wardrobe, clothes dryer, table and chairs, mirror. There was always hot water (there is a heater) They cleaned up, changed the bed linen. The breakfasts are also quite hearty and very tasty. They do not give the same thing every day, they try to diversify: pancakes, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, omelette, toast with butter and jam, freshly squeezed juice, tea, coffee. All the staff of the hotel are young guys of 5 people, they sit in shifts at the reception and cook and clean breakfast, they spend the whole day fumbling with rags, brooms, mowers, well done, keep the hotel clean!)We rented a bike at the reception, we can't do without it))))We have had more than one vacation with the Anex tour operator, and always only positive emotions! Thank you for our wonderful vacation!)))

A very nice, clean hotel with hot water. You can buy (fish or seafood, etc.) for a small fee, they will cook. You can also rent a bike there. The beach is about 15 minutes on foot, by road. But it didn't bother us.
