The Courtyard by Marriott Manhattan hotel was chosen during the cult raid on NYC precisely because of its advantageous location – next to Broadway. This is probably the end of the big advantages for tourists. If the very modest size of the room, which is almost entirely occupied by a king-size bed, is compensated by the presence of a coffee machine, iron with ironing board, flat-screen TV and free WiFi (throughout the hotel, to their credit, not only in the pretty lobby), then it was not easy to get used to the hum outside the window and the strange forgetfulness of the staff. Agreeing to the top floor, we naively believed that we would see the "sky in diamonds" and the whole city from a height. But we didn't get to see anything except the dark windows of the gloomy-looking building opposite. But I had to hear more of what I wanted: the noise of some generators (this very noise :)) outside the window did not give me rest either during the day or especially at night. After suffering for two days, they persistently asked us to change the room anyway. They began to live a little lower and a little quieter, Hallelujah! But this was the only request that the reception staff did not forget to fulfill. In any case, coffee was not brought to the room, which they promised to bring us 5 minutes after the call – in return for the coffee childs that were supposed to be, but not put by the maid. And the taxi to the airport, which they promised to call us and even wrote down an application in the magazine, never came: no one ordered this yellow symbol of New York for us, as it turned out. I had to "vote" on the street by myself, since there are no problems with taxis in the city. But the hotel staff seemed to have problems with memory, and big ones at that. After all, I was "forgotten" to return to the card $ 60, withheld for "unforeseen expenses" twice – upon check-in and extension of the room, limited to the refund of half of the deposit of $ 120... Unforgettable forgetfulness!
