I stayed at this hotel four times.
There were incidents every time we arrived.
Hair in a packed shaving kit, a red-stained duvet cover, a broken phone in the room. During the last visit, the Internet was turned off for a day, and with it the TV.
The price is above four stars, the quality is worse.
The only advantage is the novelty of the hotel. I think with the passage of a couple of years, there will be no advantages left.

Breakfast is frankly weak. The choice is small and monotonous. Primitive and not very edible. The coffee is terrible (but there is no point in talking about it, you rarely find a good drink in a hotel).
It is difficult to find fault with the cleaning of the room - it is clean. But if you personally do not ask for a shower cap or something that you need to update every morning, you will be left without it. Savings are in action here too.
The location is so-so. Given that public transport is not developed, you can only get to the city by taxi.
Near the hotel there is a supermarket and the Mirabad market (for lovers of vegetables, fruits and dried fruits - the very thing).
For the purposes of "spending the night" it is quite enough.

We booked 3 rooms in February for a group trip to Uzbekistan. All rooms were confirmed and the reservation was sent, we were warned that the payment was made in cash, since the Mir card from Russia does not pass, we were assured that everything is without problems.
As a result, when we arrived in May, we were told that our rooms were sold (( They advised us to stay in another hotel, but also only for one night, because there are no places for 2 nights ((that is, we with suitcases, 2 children and 6 adults jump around the hotels every day and did not even offer transfer, we said we can call you a taxi, no apologies, no regrets ((( It turns out that the Marriott Tashkent hotel is not interested in keeping previously reserved rooms, since in May the price is higher and there were buyers - a SHAME(((
The Marriott Tashkent Hotel is the only one of the 6 booked hotels that allowed itself such a mess(((

I didn't live in a hotel, but there's a great restaurant downstairs!
It's not the first time I've come to the Meat me restaurant at the Marriott Hotel. I do not know if I am spelling the name correctly and whether the hotel has at least some right to write the word Marriott on its sign, in principle, it does not matter. It is important that the food in this restaurant is delicious. The atmosphere is calm. The interior is pleasant. The music is relaxing. And the audience is secular. Smoking is not allowed in the restaurant hall, which is extremely pleasing. There is a terrace. Prices are above average in restaurants! Tashkent. For example, a 350 gram steak will cost more than 400,000 including service and tea. Alcohol prices are like in clubs, for example, inexpensive Irish whiskey costs around hundreds of thousands of soums for 50 ml, taking into account service and tea.
By the way, about the service, I'll say this :) the waiters are trying at least and apparently they were abandoned like kittens and they just improvise, but it seems to be more or less normal, it's not strange without infuriating joints.
The restaurant has 2 menus, a main menu and a terrace menu. The terrace menu is more budget-friendly and with a focus on local cuisine: achuchuk 2.0, Lagman, Shurpa and our other goodies ruthlessly mixed with European cuisine. The main menu is European cuisine, grilled dishes, desserts. The bar menu is alcoholic beverages where strong alcohol (vodka) starts from 35,000, cocktails from 110,000 and a wine list.
The owners do not have a splinter in their head to dress the public according to their own vision, and for this a fat plus!
A good restaurant! I recommend it!
P.S. I ordered Anna Pavlova's dessert and for the fact that they delayed it for 10 minutes, the institution offered me another cup of coffee for free as a compliment. It's a small thing, but it's nice!
