The column impresses with its durability. Of course, it was restored many times, even rebuilt in the end, the namesake statue left the pedestal. An iconic place. The column of Constantine. Initially, it was crowned by a statue of Emperor Constantine, the founder of Constantinople. According to legend, the axe head of Noah's axe, the chair of David, and part of the bread of Jesus are embedded in its base. And the nail of the cross of Jesus was driven into the column. The column was damaged many times and eventually was "girded" with steel rings to increase strength.

The column of Constantine was installed in 328. It was opened in 330. It needs to be seen. A piece of ancient Roman architecture that has survived to the present day.
