Club Alpina Hotel
We stayed at this hotel from 22.07-31.07.2021.
We arrived at 10 a.m. They settled right away. In the main building, on the 3rd floor. Room for 4 - my husband and I, a daughter and a 6-year-old granddaughter. Like a Family. I want to say right away that they don't have many similar numbers (as we were told).
There was an unpleasant sour smell in the room. Everything else is fine. The windows looked out onto the street, and the sea was visible in the distance. Yes, and the furniture... The old one. The beds are not very comfortable. My daughter has been suffering with her back all these days.
We put up with the smell and the old furniture and went to enjoy our vacation. But then the elevator broke down....
The thing is that my daughter became disabled after the accident and she doesn't move well. Serious back injury. That's why the broken elevator upset us very much. But we didn't go up to the room all day and evening and it didn't bother us until we had to go up to the room for the night). We barely made it (my daughter couldn't make it to the third floor). So in the morning we started asking for another room. Rooms on the ground floors in other buildings are not designed for 4 people. We turned to the tour operator (Anex) and they still gave us another room on the 2nd floor, without this terrible smell, with a view of the pool and the roof. There were not enough glasses in the room, the phone was not working...- this is all easily solved with the staff at the reception. The room was always cleaned well. Towels were changed at the time. The bed linen was changed a couple of times.
By the way, I liked the rooms on the ground floor in other buildings, but these rooms are not designed for a large family.
We really liked the food. The menu is quite diverse. Ice cream was served in the evenings, but not every day. As such, there is no "all inclusive", where you come up and take it yourself. But you show what you want and the person behind the "screen" imposes with a vengeance). And I also really liked the night snack - 00.00-01.00. Also, between lunch and dinner, women bake tortillas. I liked the sea better. At about 17 o'clock, cookies and sweet pies are brought out behind the pool, where tortillas are made. Non-alcoholic drinks - cola, sprite, Fanta, Schweppes, mineral water. Alcoholic drinks - vodka, raki, gin, cocktails in the evenings sometimes. Coffee, tea, cocoa. Water is given to you in the room once for 2 liters, and then you yourself type in the bar as much as you want. At the sea, the bar has the same set of drinks. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. At the pool bar from 10 to 23 o'clock.
Sea... We've come at a bad time. Red and yellow flags. And entering the sea from our hotel is dangerous. Slabs and stones. I hit myself hard, and on the day of our departure, a man was taken to the hospital with a punctured head (sober!). If you take it a little to the left, then entering the sea is better. We mostly swam there. We were also told that we need to go further to the left and there is generally sand... But we didn't go. Transfer to the sea from the hotel via a tunnel. If it weren't for our disabled daughter, we wouldn't have anything to worry about. But unfortunately, there is nothing provided for the disabled here in this hotel.
The pool is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. At about 17-30, the cleaning women are already asking to vacate the pool and sun beds. We resented it, but then we got used to it))). There is only one slide, small, but it is enough for children. It doesn't work all the time either. From 10-12. From 15-17 (like this). The pool is not big either.
There was no animation as such. At the end of our vacation, a girl appeared to entertain the children. And there was also a guy who entertained adults. In the evening there are always discos for children and on some days for adults. We liked the music. And sometimes there are different shows for adults. It was fun). Hookah is $12. They do it well.
Massage... We went for a complex foam massage. For 20 dollars + a child for free. To be honest, I didn't understand this massage. Turkish bath without steam.... Yes, by the way, both the sauna and the sauna are free.
We walked and walked the streets. The prices are normal, and you can buy all sorts of yummy things. We liked the rolls of lukuma by weight and halva fibers. We went to the Waikiki store, bought Turkish clothes. Walk slowly for 30 minutes. There are bus stops near the hotel.
Summary - the hotel is budget, not bad. The staff is helpful. They tried to help my daughter. She even wants to come back here, despite the inconvenience for her.
Special thanks to Svetlana. She showed me the hotel, told me everything and explained. Also thanks to Tatiana - a positive girl. And special thanks to Anex's agent, Anna. She helped us a lot.
