I want to express my utmost anger and frustration regarding my experience with Circular Car Hire, a car rental company. I rented a car from them at Antalya Airport, and to my dismay, the car was given to me in a dirty condition. This was not only unpleasant but also made it impossible for me to inspect any damages. The company's employee seemed to deliberately ignore the essence of my complaint and kept repeating the phrase "good car, madam" as if it were a magic spell. Their convenient way of pretending not to understand my concerns infuriated me.
The employee promised to call their boss, which gave me hope for a resolution. I expected them to offer a solution such as replacing the car or documenting the damages after cleaning it. However, none of that happened. When the employee hung up the phone, they simply informed me that my reservation was canceled. I was in shock. After a long flight, standing in the heat with my luggage, and having my mom waiting for me in the adjacent terminal, they nonchalantly canceled my prepaid reservation made months in advance. The employee behaved aggressively and refused to discuss the problem or find a compromise.
Fortunately, a colleague of theirs happened to pass by and intervened in the situation, eventually helping to resolve the issue. They managed to reinstate my reservation and offered to have the car washed. However, towards the end of the ordeal, I was told, "Be grateful that you're a woman, that's the only reason I went the extra mile for you." This was a blatant display of rudeness and toxic masculinity. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
To make matters worse, after returning the car, they didn't refund my deposit and ignored my messages. It was only when I filed a complaint with my bank and demanded a refund through them that my deposit was finally returned to my card. I strongly advise everyone against using this company. It was the most humiliating and appalling car rental experience I have ever had.
We took a car in Turkey for 7 days. They brought a car full of scratches, a dirty interior and a broken headlight. They offered to pay for full insurance and as a result, the manager begged for money for these damages and wanted more money for cleaning the salon. He started yelling, but we took photos and videos of all the damages before taking the car and he eventually said, "well, OK, you should just say that you don't want to give me more money"!!!!🙀 it is better to use the trusted companies and keep your nerves !
We have rented a car here in December 2022 and January 2023, they didn’t return our deposit 534$! We have called and wrote them several times, we have asked them. They did nothing! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE!
